Because of his high agility, Evan managed to jump to his right before something made impact on the spot he was just standing on. It made a loud ’whaam!’ that the ground shook just a little bit.

He has no idea what it was. There was nothing that had made impact that he could see, but something still did.

Evan leans a little closer. He wants to come near the spot on the ground where he saw a few cracks to see how bad it was and what could have possibly made the impact. Before he was able to get close enough, a panel suddenly appeared before him, making him jump away in shock.

Evan scratched his head in frustration. "Don’t make me jump like that again!" He points at the panel before sighing. "I really need to be out of here soon."

After he moved away, the panel containing the warning disappeared. He now knows the his danger sense ability cannot manually disappear unless he is out of danger.

That is a good thing. At least he would know to stay vigilant and cautious. He had been cautious but it never hurts to be more careful.

Right now, Evan had no sense if it is afternoon or night. If Iva was around, Evan would have the means to know the current time. At the moment, he doesn’t have that. So, he has no choice but to move along as quickly as he can. ƒrēenovelkiss.com

In front of him, he heard something swinging past his ear. He’s still facing the side where he almost got hit.

Evan took a deep breath. Whatever it is, even if he can’t see it, seems to be swinging back and forth. It’s the only logical explanation as to why it can’t hit him while he moved to the right where it did hit.

He turns to his right and began to walk again. The traps here wasn’t too bad like the arrows from the first trapped corridor. There is no pattern here, and he had to pay attention a lot more to prevent him from becoming a paste on the ground.

When he reached the end of the corridor, all the torches on what he had just passed by was blown off, almost like a sudden gust of wind did the trick. There was no air though, just silence.

Evan didn’t dwell on it and instead continued to move. He found himself standing in front of a wall and a very narrow passage going to the right. He had to get in facing sideways, because of how narrow the space was.

Once he did, there was a grinding noise and hr ground shook. When he turned around, there was nothing on the wall that indicated there was a way of entry there before.

"I can’t go back huh?" Evan mutters to himself.

He turns to the direction he was supposed to be going. The first thing he noticed was that he is in an actual cave. The ceiling is high that Evan wouldn’t be able to see it if it weren’t for how the light works here.

The walls around him gave way to the space. There is no supporting walls on his either side that he could immediately hold on to. In fact, where he was standing seems to be the only foothold here. In a few more feet, the foothold stops abruptly, but the expanse of the cave still goes on beyond it.

Halfway through the path ahead, it is surrounded by some sort of liquid. Evan couldn’t tell what kind of liquid it was. But the lights from the torches light up the place in equal distance with each other, and the liquid refracts and lights up the entire cave that way.

Evan walked forwards in awe. This is the biggest lake he had ever seen.

"Detect." Evan says, ready for his ability to be cut off again.

Instead, he heard the familiar sound of his ability being activated.

Evan raised an eyebrow at the way it was worded. Underwater Lake of Boon cannot be consumed? So he can’t drink it? He looked at the clear water longingly, gulping a little bit.

He is thirsty, incredibly so. There is so much water in front of him and he can’t even drink it?

Before he thought of it, he heard his stomach grumble. Apparently, he’s hungry now too.

He sighs. He doesn’t have a container for the water either, so he can’t have a sample of it to return back with him. However, it did say that it can heal externally. Does that mean it could help regain a little bit of his hit points?

Evan walks over to the end of where the passage is, which is exactly where the middle of the cave was. He looks from left to right, and his back and his front. It felt unusual, to see a cave this perfectly circular shaped.

He sat at the end, his left side near the water while his right facing the path he came from.

"Let’s see if you really heal." Evan says to himself, before leaning forwards to the water.

He folds his legs up, while his right hand is on the ground and making sure he is balanced so he won’t fall over. Then, he scoops a little bit of it and began to pour it down from his left knee, watching it go down towards his thigh and his legs in both direction.
