Jiang Li adopted the thinking of the Daoist Lord, but unlike the Daoist Lord, Jiang Li gained insight into the essence of pure Qi from the interplay of purity and impurity.

······

"The interplay of purity and impurity seems to have undergone changes······"

On the Kunxu Snow Peak in Yong Province, a middle-aged Daoist in a light yellow Dao robe looked up at the sky, sensing a subtle change amidst the perennial cold wind.

Since the spiritual mechanism covered the Nine Provinces, the transformation of purity and impurity has been ongoing, devouring dirt Qi and converting it into the spiritual mechanism. And now, purity and impurity have returned to a certain balance, no longer simply devouring the Five Vile Qi to transform into pure Qi, but instead are in a state of mutual increase and decrease.

Compared to the past, the spiritual mechanism has become much calmer now, no longer fluctuating like before, yet in the subtleties, one can perceive more intricate and mysterious changes.

"There is a poor Daoist within the Divine Capital, and a Tai Chi Diagram is spread over the earth veins; if there's a change, I will be the first to know. Now that the change has arisen and I haven't sensed it earlier, it signifies that the change doesn't originate from the earth but from the heavens."

The Daoist gazed at the majestic sky dome, sensing through an unseen connection a certain existence at the Heavenly Extremes, slowly envisioning a Taiji of pure and impure rotation in his mind.

The Taiji of purity and impurity is actually constructed by Jiang Li mimicking the Tai Chi Diagram. He, together with the Daoist Lord, presides over the transformation of purity and impurity, encounters the Tai Chi Diagram during the process, studies the change of purity and impurity, and then recreates it, enabling a state of balance between purity and impurity in the Three Pure Ones.

It is precisely due to the mutual resonance between the two Taijis above and below that Jiang Li can constantly grasp the transformation of purity and impurity, firmly occupying the dominant position.

However, Jiang Li did not anticipate that the Daoist Lord's understanding of the Taiji Dao and his alignment with the Tai Chi Diagram would be so profound. When Jiang Li adjusted the balance of purity and impurity in the Three Pure Ones, the Daoist Lord immediately sensed it, perceiving that subtle change.

"Fellow Daoist Jiang's achievements grow deeper by the day, advancing rapidly, even astonishing the poor Daoist. Perhaps, not long from now, he could catch up with the great beings from before the End of Dharma."

The Daoist Lord's middle-aged incarnation uttered leisurely, his gaze slightly shifting, landing on an adjacent snow peak.

The night could not obstruct the Daoist Lord's vision, and now, ten suns patrol the East Sea. Though intentionally controlled to not shed light upon the Nine Provinces, they still add a faint white brightness to the night, causing the moonlight to appear somewhat pale.

In the twilight, one could see a mighty figure standing on the snow peak, with a face of thirty years old suffused with an indescribable majesty, as if the very visage is the embodiment of authority.

"Great Heavenly Venerate." The Daoist Lord softly uttered the name.

The Great Heavenly Venerate now stands differently from before.

The body of the Great Heavenly Venerate originates from the Heavenly Monarch, who craved the eternity of the heavens. His visage stem from his heart, consistently preserving the youthful, golden years, thus appearing youthful.

Yet now, his visage subtly transitioned to thirty years of age, at once the prime of strength and peak of majesty.

This signifies that the Great Heavenly Venerate's body has fully adapted to his mental state, even aligning with his Dao, manifesting the semblance of his Dao now.

Just as The Queen Mother of the West is the Yin Yi God, whose body and visage amalgamated the beauty of Yin, embodying the perfection of Yin, while carrying the cold majesty of the Plague Execution God, so too now does the Great Heavenly Venerate present the form and appearance of the Dao.

At the level of the Great Heavenly Venerate and The Queen Mother of the West, their body is the Taoist Body, their visage is the embodiment of the Dao, displaying certain traits of the Dao.

Those words used to describe the dignified appearanThe Queen Mother of the West Gle of individuals, like "heavenly forehead and dragon-like features," their origin, in a sense, is the Great Heavenly Venerate.

The appearance of the Great Heavenly Venerate is the most direct manifestation of a heavenly forehead and dragon-like features.

The Daoist Lord looked at the current visage of the Great Heavenly Venerate, his gaze slightly descending, resting on the Great Heavenly Venerate's right arm.

Previously severed to escape, the right arm now conspicuously has regrown, yet it is unknown how much strength the current arm holds compared to the past. Judged by time, the Great Heavenly Venerate shouldn't have refined his new arm to match the original body. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎

However, considering the mysterious and profound cultivation techniques created by the Heavenly Monarch, it's hard to conclude that the Great Heavenly Venerate hasn't fully recovered.

The Heavenly Monarch's "Yin Talisman Scripture" is both grandiose and elusive, able to transform the human body into the heavenly dharma, changing freely, so the restoration of limbs might be exceedingly easy for him.

'The Great Heavenly Venerate's recovery has been too swift, and his strength restoration seems unusual, given that he sustained a heavy injury just half a day ago.' The Daoist Lord observed the Great Heavenly Venerate, his mind filled with doubt.

The change in appearance signifies further recovery of the Great Heavenly Venerate, which is quite extraordinary.

Despite being defeated half a day earlier, how has he already regained his strength?

The distance between the two snow peaks could not hinder the Daoist Lord's voice. The Great Heavenly Venerate heard the Daoist Lord's words, unhurriedly responding: "Catch up with the great beings before the End of Dharma? Do you understand the power of such beings? Or—"

An unseen gaze seemed to materialize, focusing on the Daoist Lord, "Are you one of them?"

"In those years, I suspected that you knew too much about some secrets from before the End of Dharma, and could recount the changes in world affairs even after the lengthy period that followed. Now, I wonder even more, which Fellow Daoist could you be?"

The Ancestor Zhou from eight hundred years ago had dealings with the Daoist Lord. The Daoist Lord previously mentioned when blocking the Awakened.

This Daoist even recalled wishing to stab Ancestor Zhou back then to prevent his ascension, but hadn't acted before Ancestor Zhou failed in his ascension.

Back then, Jiang Li questioned this claim, unsure if the Daoist Lord was boasting. Now, the Great Heavenly Venerate's testimony confirms the Daoist Lord's words of old.

—Indeed, the Daoist Lord is a monster, an ancient being from eight hundred years ago, or even one surviving through the End of Dharma to present.

Yet even the Daoist Lord did not foresee that Ancestor Zhou from eight hundred years ago might possess such an identity.

Ancestor Zhou had long suspected the Daoist Lord, but the Daoist Lord indeed did not see that Ancestor Zhou concealed another identity. This person back then played an excellent deception, deceiving the Daoist Lord for eight hundred years.

"What difference does it make?"

The Daoist Lord did not confirm the Great Heavenly Venerate's questioning, instead, he smiled lightly and said: "Different paths can't make common plans, Great Heavenly Venerate, you and I follow different paths, which won't change regardless of my identity."

No matter what identity, the Daoist Lord now opposes the Great Heavenly Venerate.

He is present at Kunxu Mountain to guard against the Great Heavenly Venerate seizing the Dao Fruit of the Emperor of Longevity from Yuxu Temple.

The invisible gaze seemed to further manifest, becoming Mount Tai, pressing upon the Daoist Lord, yet abruptly vanished.

The Great Heavenly Venerate smiled slightly and said: "Even if you don't speak, I already have some speculation, accommodating the Dao Fruit of Laojun is not an easy task. Laojun is the incarnation of Daode Tianzun, and only a genuine successor of Taiching could bear it successfully in a short time. My scope of speculation isn't large. Moreover······"

The eerie stillness after the pressure deepened, the night's cold wind quietly stopped, space seemed to solidify bit by bit.

"I can unveil your identity by my own hand."

At the end of words, it finally comes to a debate.

The Great Heavenly Venerate will not be easily deterred by the Daoist Lord's obstruction.

He could be defeated by Jiang Li because Jiang Li suddenly had numbers that defy logic; the Daoist Lord doesn't possess such numbers.

In terms of Daoist accomplishments, the Heavenly Emperor of the Heavenly Court before the End of Dharma and the first-tier strong under the Three Pure Ones should not be weaker than others.

Had Jiang Li not suddenly gained immense advantage, his chance to defeat the Great Heavenly Venerate would have been almost zero.
