"Dad, I feel like having a raw mango," Eleanor said sitting in front of her breakfast.

"But it’s hard to get them," Cedric said.

"Dad! Your son is denying me," Eleanor said as she started crying.

"Cedric, even if it’s hard it is not impossible to get them," Regan said.

"By evening I will make someone find them for you, My Child," Regan said.

"Okay. dad is best," Eleanor said feeling grateful.

Regan felt proud for getting praise from his daughter-in-law early in the morning. He gave a smug look to his son. Patting her head, he sat beside her to have his breakfast.

"When will Katherine will come?" Eleanor asked.

"She shall come this afternoon. She may join you for lunch," Regan said.

"Oh... ouch," she said as she winced in pain.

"What’s wrong?" Cedric asked.

"Baby kicked me," Eleanor said.

She placed her hand on her swollen nine months belly as she caressed it.

Cedric came beside her and placed his hand on her belly to feel his kick.

"You felt him kick my stomach many times. Can you get remove my hands on my stomach?" she asked rolling her eyes.

As if saying to him to remove his hand, the baby kicked in the same spot where Cedric placed his hand. Cedric smiled and removed his hand. They started eating their food.

"Sister-in-law!" everyone heard Katherine’s scream.

Eleanor whipped her head towards the source of the voice. She felt happy looking at her sister-in-law. And soon, a series of kicks were thrown at Eleanor’s stomach. Eleanor could feel the baby was kicking excitedly. It’s as if saying even the baby was feeling happy with his aunt’s presence.

"Ouch... ouch... Oh my god! It hurts now," Eleanor winced in pain now.

"What’s wrong?" Regan asked.

Even Stephen and other maids came out looking at her situation.

"The baby is kicking continuously," Eleanor said. She was about to fall back but Cedric and Regan held her on time helping her.

"Baby, stop it! Mommy is hurting," Cedric said.

And as if the baby understood him, he stopped kicking.

"He stopped again. Does he listen to you?" Eleanor asked with an amused expression.

"Maybe, he does," Cedric said.

"Hey, I shall feel the baby’s kick too," Katherine said as she rushed forward.

When she came near Eleanor, Eleanor closed her nose.

"How many months it has been since you had a bath?" Eleanor asked. She could feel her breakfast coming to her throat.

"Three days only," she said with what’s the wrong expression.

"Huh?! What!?! I can still smell blood from you! Come to me after bathing thoroughly!" Eleanor said.

"But will baby kick you then?" Katherine asked.

"He likes you. Whenever he hears your voice, he kicks," Eleanor said.

"Your sister-in-law is right. The smell/stench from you is too horrible," both Regan and Cedric said at a time.

"Hmph! I will come back soon," Katherine said and made her way to her bedroom.

Katherine went to her room and then took a long refreshing bath before going to the dining hall.

She had her breakfast and went to the hall. Seeing Eleanor settled on the couch lazily she went near her.

"What did you do in your camp?" Eleanor asked wanting to know the adventures she did.

"Oops! I forgot! The village we went to is pretty underdeveloped. I saw mangoes on trees. The farmers gave them to me. They are still in the car. I will Stephen to get them for you. I heard that pregnant women like to eat them. So, brought them for you," Katherine said.

Katherine called Stephen to bring those mangoes from them.

"See, even God knows you will have these cravings, so he provided the solution for it," Cedric said.

"Yes, God loves me," she said with a cute smile.

"Between when is your delivery date, SIL?" Katherine asked.

"I am late by fifteen days. I don’t know anymore. I will enter my tenth month too in a week," Eleanor said.

"Oh, we should be prepared anytime," Katherine said. And started sharing her camp details.

Stephen just then came with neatly cut mangoes for her to eat. Taking a piece she felt like she was in heaven.

"Aww.... This is heaven," Eleanor moaned eating it.

Even her baby kicked in response. She finished the mango pieces and spent her time with Katherine.

After lunch, she and Katherine were gossiping about their friends and their love relationships.

"I want to attend someone’s wedding or mine," Eleanor said as she sighed.

"Even me, I want to dance in the wedding and be a bridesmaid. And find a handsome best man to date. Sigh," Katherine said.

"We will do that at Myna’s wedding," Eleanor said.

"Whose wedding?" Cedric asked as he walked into the house along with Regan.

"Myna’s," Eleanor said.

"Oh," he responded.

Just then Eleanor felt a sharp pain shooting from her lower abdomen. She tried to hide it but another sharp pain was shot from her lower abdomen.

Beads of sweat dropped formed over her forehead. A pained expression crept on her face. Cedric and Katherine frowned seeing her pained expression.

"Ahh!" she yelled not able to suppress her pain.

"My water... be-broke," she said feeling her heart beating wildly.

"Shit!" he screamed.

"Dad! Start the car!" Cedric yelled.

"Katherine inform the doctor and intimate the hospital to prepare everything," Cedric said. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Katherine called the hospital authorities and arranged everything right.

She followed them, she climbed the front seat while Cedric accompanied Eleanor in the back seat. Regan sped the car to the hospital while Katherine send a group text to everyone saying Eleanor’s water broke and they were on their way to the hospital. She called Aiden and informed him personally. Aiden informed Aria. And soon the news about Eleanor giving birth spread around the upper circle with the gossipy Queen Aria.

Cedric and his family reached the hospital. Since they have already intimated the hospital staff, they prepared everything in advance. They brought a stretcher for her and pushed her to the ward.

After some time Raymond Owen, Edward Callan, Nathaira, Oliver, Myna, Valene, Martin, Aiden, and Aria came.

After some time Simon Owen who was Raymond’s father and Griffin who was Edward’s father also came.

After nearly two hours....

The doctor came out saying they were blessed with a boy.
