600 Consensual kidnapping

Yeoh Jun might be the ruler of an entire empire, who was supposed to be back at work by the way, but he ran away so fast that he almost left his shadow behind.

Zi Han almost got a heart attack when his father came back in a hurry like he was being chased by ghosts and demons. He shut the door and even locked it before placing his hand on his head again to check if his luscious hair was still intact.

“What is wrong with you?!” asked Zi Xingxi as she ran out of the walking closet with her weapon in hand like she was ready to shoot somebody.

“Your au, great aunt is here? Why didn’t you tell me she was coming?” he asked and Zi Xingxi’s muscles relaxed while putting her handgun away.

“She is family so, of course, she would come. Tsk, why are you so dramatic?” she said and Yeoh Jun bend down with his hands on his thighs exhaling deeply before saying,

“Dramatic? I don’t want to wear a toupee... ever. You better keep her away from me.”

Zi Han could sympathise especially when he recalled that terrible haircut on secretary K’s head.. He decided to be a good son and share his meal with his dad.

He pushed the bowl over and Yeoh Jun was touched. He was so touched that he thought he was going to cry. “You are your father’s favourite child,” he said before taking a huge spoonful.

“Wait what? Aren’t I your only child?” he asked and Yeoh Jun showed a contented expression before saying,

.....

“You are.”

Zi Han, “...”

Zi Xingxi almost rolled her eyes. “Han Han go take a nap for an hour... oh and don’t forget to take the hangover pill,” she said and Zi Han nodded his head before leaving as fast as possible.

As soon as the door closed Zi Xingxi ruffled her husband’s hair while saying, “You do need a haircut.”

Yeoh Jun, “...”

The great federation had never experienced such a grand event in a very long time. This event literally skipped one generation. They didn’t even know that their current emperor was married and had a son so yep they had no grand wedding experience.

So when the news that the newfound prince was getting married and not only getting married but he was marrying the Marshal of the federation everybody was very excited.

Some were camping in the live broadcast waiting for the amazing event. Some people even dressed up like wedding guests even though they weren’t going to be there physically. Let’s just say that the entire federation was satisfied with this match and couldn’t wait to see them ride off into the sunset and begin their new married life.

While the groom was snoozing the downstairs of the Zi family was completely transformed with so many red and gold decorations. They were paper fans, balloons, ribbons and champagne was flowing already.

His grandfather had already changed into a suit and was sitting with all his friends who had made their way to his house. Because his family was relatively small his friends were like his family and they were eager to be a part of this day.

The kitchen was filled with all sorts of tasty treats from pastries and cakes ordered by the groom’s family. Talk about being spoilt.

“You must be the luckiest bastard,” said grandmaster Wayne his face beaming with jealousy.

Zi Feiji wiped his hands with the napkin wiping the crumbs off his fingers while responding, “Why? I am not lucky. That Yi Kid is the luckiest one here. My grandson is a big catch.”

“But how did he manage to catch a good one? My granddaughter met the most narcissistic fuck that I want to smack each time I see him,” said another one of his friends his expression very ugly.

“Well, my granddaughter’s boyfriend is too goofy and always follows me around trying to impress me. It’s exhausting.” 𝒇𝒓𝗲e𝔀𝗲𝚋noѵℯƖ. c𝑜m

Zi Feiji’s brows creased while saying, “Isn’t your granddaughter dating Li Ran.”

“Argh don’t mention that name to me. If he wasn’t Yi Chen’s henchman I am sure he would be bothering me right now trying to ask for Hela’s hand in marriage,” he said and Zi Feiji couldn’t help but wonder why he didn’t just give the kid permission. Maybe then Li Ran won’t follow him like a tail all the time.

He was about to say something about it when he heard the commotion outside his door. It seemed the other groom was here to pick up his partner. Lynn Feng and secretary K did not disappoint. They were ready to make it difficult for the groom to enter the house. That’s mostly because they were buying Zi Han time. It turns out it was a very bad idea to let Zi Han sleep because waking him up was a huge hassle.

The groom was looking dashing in a full-length three-piece wedding attire. It was made of high quality silk, heavily adorned with gold. It had thread embroidery with auspicious motifs symbolising infinite blessings for the couple. The embroidery of a three headed hydra right by his chest was especially eye-catching that secretary K couldn’t help but take a second glance.

His hair was slicked back which was perfect for his soft and straight hair. The man undoubtedly looked very handsome and the privileged few who were permitted to watch this broadcast couldn’t help but lick their screens in admiration.

Yi Chen wasn’t aware of all of this. He was anxiously standing outside the door as the red confetti rained on him.

His hand was clammy and trembling slightly so he clenched it and crossed it in front of him. Li Ran saw this and couldn’t help but hand him a wet wipe.

“Thank you,” he whispered while wiping his fingers. Li Ran nudged him with his shoulder while saying,

“You got this. If they don’t let him out we can kidnap him. I heard that during old earth there was a tribe that did that. They would just nab the girl to their house and after one night they would inform her family that she is part of their family now.

“That’s messed up and very criminal,” said Yi Chen glancing at him from the corner of his eye.

“Well, yea... but if she likes me then what’s the problem. We can call it consensual kidnapping,” he said and Yi Chen was starting to think that Li Ran was plotting something. Something very big.
