The Broken Halo-Chapter 189: Becoming A Fiend
"STOP!"
Simon’s roar boomed across this world, then he suddenly disappeared and reappeared in front of the claw attack of his daemon tiger bloodline.
The claw attack of the daemon tiger was white in his eyes, but it was massive.
It was like he was standing before a mammoth. He was just a slightly large ant before it.
However, Simon had no fear.
His expression was deathly cold, and he clenched his fist and punched at the massive claws.
Visible pressurized air shot out of his fist, and a shockwave boomed across him as a result of his punch. 𝙧𝙚𝙚𝔀𝒆𝓫𝓷𝙤𝓿𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝓶
The pressurized air slammed into the claws, and the claws instantly shattered into pieces.
Simon lowered his arm, then he coldly stared at the daemon tiger that was at the peak of the mountain.
All he could see was black and white, but the sky blue eyes of the daemon tiger stared into his own sky blue eyes.
The daemon tiger took a step forward and growled at him, its claws bordering on the edge of the mountain peak.
Simon felt an overbearing pressure from the daemon tiger, but he completely ignored this pressure.
He knew that if he could not withstand this pressure and even overcome it, his mind would most likely be overtaken by the daemon tiger’s bloodline.
But who was he?
The past Hero of Earth.
The past Halo of Earth.
A Demi-God in his past life.
He had faced gods in his past life, and as long as this was just a mental battle, he could ignore the pressure from his bloodline which was not even fully awakened yet.
Besides, Fearless also made him to feel no fear from the daemon tiger.
A few moments later, his mouth opened, and he spoke.
"Do not harm it or any other thing that appears in here. That’s an order."
The daemon tiger growled angrily, but Simon ignored it and looked down at the weak, fragile, and pathetic one-horned demon.
In his eyes, the one-horned demon looked extremely skinny and even if it was black and white, it looked dull in Simon’s eyes.
Simon narrowed his eyes, and the gears in his mind spun.
A few seconds later, he spoke.
"And you. Stay where you are. Do not go up there no matter what. I’ll find a way to transform you too."
Simon took another glance at the daemon tiger, then he shook his head.
He closed his eyes, then he clapped, dispelling the mental world around him.
If it were any of his peers who experienced such a thing, majority of them would not know what to do.
But Simon had experienced such a thing in his past life, so from the moment he saw the daemon tiger and the one-horned demon, he knew what was going on.
His eyes in the real world fluttered open, and Simon took a glance around him.
The demonic energy in the cultivation room had been completely used up, and he did not know, but even the demonic energy in the rooms to his left and right was dried up by him.
Fortunately for him, he had specifically requested for a room where the surrounding rooms where empty and unused because he had a feeling that the commotion from his breakthrough could cause a disturbance.
If there were demons in the rooms around him, it would have caused immense problems for him.
Problems he could not solve yet because he was still weak and poor.
However, that was all by the side.
What was most important were dark silver lines flowing through his body, and the faint image of a burning heart in his left chest.
Simon smiled when he saw his burning heart.
He had succeeded, he was now a Fiend.
A Minor Fiend, but he was stronger than before.
The difference between a Fiend and a Lesser Demon was just the quantity and quality of demonic energy a Fiend had, and the increase in the physical capabilities of a Fiend.
There was nothing major, but for Simon, being a Fiend would increase his chances of survival against the Iron Fangs.
He clenched his fists and looked at it.
"Let’s see how much stronger and faster I’ve become."
He stood, then he started performing some martial art moves he knew.
He punched, kicked, spun in the air, and did many other things to not only figure out how powerful he was, but to also have more control over his new physical strength.
With every punch, kick, and movement he made, his body became more fluid and quicker, and he adapted very quickly.
Eventually, the sound of his punches and kicks in the air caused soft but at the same time, loud booming sounds in the quiet cultivation room.
But he did not stop until he only had ten minutes left to use in the cultivation room.
When he stopped, his entire body was drenched in sweat and his breathing was slightly rough and uneven.
He used a finger to wipe away the sweat that was about to enter his eyes, then he removed the upper part of his robe and tied it around his waist.
He was shirtless and the glistering sweat on his toned, chiseled, and muscular physique could be seen.
He sat on the ground once again. But this time around, he was not in a meditative position.
His arms were stretched to the back, supporting his body, and his legs were spread out in front of him.
He looked up at the ceiling of the cultivation room.
"Hmm. I should have the physical capabilities of a Supreme Archfiend, and it should be comparable to the elites amongst the Supreme Archfiends."
"Maybe I can compare myself to Supreme Archfiends who have a Supreme Noble Bloodline?"
"I’m not so certain unless I take specific tests in the clan, but that should be it."
Although one might believe that after becoming a Fiend, Simon should have the physical capabilities of a Greater Demon since he had the physical capabilities of a Prime Fiend before his advancement.
But if such a thing happened, even Simon would be in complete disbelief because the higher the ranks, the greater the differences between them.
And Greater Demons were a lot more powerful than Archfiends by a wide margin.
Aside from the increase in his demonic energy quantity and quality, he could also feel that both of his bloodlines had experienced slight changes.
