Chapter 320: 320: Gangs & Factions

Simon was actually more satisfied and pleased with Akaza’s words than one would realize.

Why?

Because his main goal and focus was on the Martial Clan, not the Shadowgrave Clan.

If Akaza’s ambition was related to the growth of the Shadowgrave Clan, he would have to start thinking of ways to dispose of him.

Why?

Because he wanted to bring down the Shadowgrave Clan at the end of the day.

And why wouldn’t he?

After all they did to him.

’Now, I’ll just have to find a way to deal with the Grave Mark. Maybe Lilith might be able to help.’

’Sigh.’

’Unfortunately, she’s still pissed at me.’

He shook his head and decided to put his thoughts of Lilith to the back of his mind.

He looked at Akaza.

"Since your goal is to lead your clan to greater heights, then train Akaza. Train, work harder, cultivate more, and get stronger."

Akaza looked to the side and scoffed softly.

"I don’t need you to tell me that."

Simon smiled, then he stretched his arms, causing cracking sounds to resound in his room.

"Alright, Akaza. That is all for now. If I need you for something, I’ll reach out to you. You may leave."

Akaza frowned. "If you want me to get stronger, then stop sending me on errands, it disrupts my training."

Simon chuckled. "That is if you’re training and not fucking some whores."

Akaza’s right eye twitched, then he scoffed and stood.

He took a step, then he stopped and looked at Simon.

"What about the enemies you’ve made? Their backers are not people you can deal with."

Simon raised a brow.

"You know about them?"

This time around, Akaza raised a brow in surprise.

"You don’t?"

Simon shook his head, and Akaza’s eyes widened in disbelief.

"You had no idea who their backers are, and you decided to become enemies with them?"

Simon blinked, then he chuckled while shaking his head.

"You should know me to some extent, Akaza. I’m just pulling your legs. Of course I have some knowledge about their backers."

Akaza frowned, and he chose not to blindly believe Simon’s words.

If Simon did not know what pit of fire he was throwing himself to, he would find a way to prevent himself from being thrown into the pit along with Simon.

"What do you know about their backers?"

Simon rolled his eyes, then he opened his two hands and gestured to the sides.

"In the academy, there are gangs and factions."

"Gangs are basically made up of failures, losers, and so on. They are basically bullies, and they have no authority in the clan."

Akaza’s lips twitched because directly and indirectly, Simon just insulted him.

He really has the urge to beat the shit out of Simon.

As for Simon, he continued speaking.

"As for Factions, they are different."

"Factions have authority and power in the academy, and they are usually made up of Second Years and Third Years."

"A faction can have gangs under them, and these gangs can be used to their dirty work or they can be used to make extra income for the faction."

"The three strongest gangs in the academy are the Vipers Nest, Stone Crushers, and Black Thorns."

"And these three gangs are also under three different factions."

"The Vipers Nest is under the Sanguine Fang faction."

"The Stone Crushers is under the Iron Ledger faction."

"And the Black Thorns is under the Obsidian Thorns."

Akaza blinked in surprise, and Simon tilted his head slightly.

"Do you want me to also tell you that the Sanguine Fang are a faction whose philosophy is about strength. That they value raw combat and chaos."

"Or should I tell you that the philosophy of the Iron Ledger is about wealth? That they believe wealth is the only true power."

"Or should I tell you that the philosophy of the Obsidian Thorns is bloodline rank and tradition? That they believe only high-born demons should rule."

"What else do you want me to tell you, Akaza?"

Akaza lips twitched at Simon’s words.

"Alright. Alright. You have some knowledge about the backers of those three bastards, but I hope you know that some factions also have instructors as their backers?"

Simon calmly nodded. "I do."

Akaza narrowed his eyes.

"Is your goal for the Iron Fangs to be under a faction? Or do you plan on making the Iron Fangs a faction?"

"Akaza." Simon released a tired sigh. "You ask too many questions."

Akaza frowned.

"I ask all these questions because it’s my life you’re playing with. One wrong move from you, and I’m dead."

Simon nonchalantly waved his hand.

"Don’t worry, Akaza. I won’t make a wrong move, and if you’re so worried about that, become strong enough to be able to punch away whatever threat comes your way."

Once again, the urge to beat the shit out of Simon appeared in his heart, and it was taking a lot from him to not do as his heart desires.

"And what about the Iron Fangs? Will your actions put them in danger?"

Simon looked at Akaza with a raised brow.

"You really care for the Iron Fangs huh."

Akaza shrugged. "Not really. I just have the urge to be a great leader. It’s what my father taught me."

Simon raised a surprised brow.

"Even if they’re useless and weak in your eyes and in the eyes of everybody, I’m their leader, so I just want to perform some of my responsibilities as their leader."

Simon narrowed his eyes. "What if they all die?"

Akaza shrugged. "Then so be it. I won’t rage or kill myself because of them. Just like I said, I’m beginning to regain my desire for revenge. I can’t die because of them."

"But as long as I’m their leader. I’ll be a great one...or a better one from now on."

A bright smile appeared on Simon’s lips as he looked at Akaza like a priceless gem.

"I want you the more, Akaza."

Akaza shivered and gave a strange look to Simon.

"That’s gay."

Simon chuckled, then he waved his hand.

"You may leave, Akaza."

Akaza nodded, then he opened the door and left, leaving Simon alone in his room... Room 47.
