The Elven Evolution: Starting With 1 Million SSSR Skills-Chapter 69: [] Drugged Yen = Free Labour
"It’s pretty bad. It looks like she ate angel share." Artie said after examining Yennefer.
He had brought her to Artie’s hut since she was the most knowledgeable person he knew when it came to mushrooms.
While he was sitting in her chair, Yennefer had her hands in his hair, braiding it while humming.
"Angels share?" Eliron repeated what she said.
’How ironic is that?’ He thought.
Artie nodded and moved to one of her shelves and began shuffling through it.
"Yeah, it’s not particularly harmful though, but as you can see, it’s not very suitable for eating."
She pulled out a substance wrapped up in leaves and placed it on the desk.
Then Artie muttered in a lower tone. "I could have sworn I warned her about this specific one."
She grabbed a small bowl and placed it on the table ,then mixed the substance with some water, about to hand it to Eliron when she paused and stared at his hair.
"Heh..."
Eliron sighed. "Don’t even start..."
"You’re pretty good at this Yen." Artie moved closer to the angel and leaned slightly to meet her gaze.
"Maybe you’ll do mine next?"
"Hehehe." Yennefer smiled smugly while placing her hands on her waist. "I am no regular stylist, y-you’ll have to pay a hefty price!"
"Oh? How much do you charge?"
Yennefer lifted her hands and began counting her fingers. It seemed she got confused at some point, because she shook her head and frowned before blurting, "100 gold coins!"
Artie pretended to be in shock. "I’m afraid I do not have that much, fair lady." Then she raised the bowl of the strange mixture towards her.
She smiled warmly. "But I have this."
Eliron stared at the mixture, it was black and had a rather odd smell. ’I’m guessing that is the antidote?’
Yennefer blinked, then staggered forward, abandoning Eliron’s hair.
She peered down at the bowl and asked, "W-what is this?"
"Ahh, don’t you know? It’s juice!" Artie beamed. "Freshly squeezed juice!"
The way she said it, her tone, and the sparkle in her eyes made her so convincing they even Eliron was shocked.
If he hadn’t seen the abomination in the bowl, then maybe he too would have been convinced.
Yennefer folded her arms across her chest, she leaned over to stare at the bowl then frowned.
"You’re n-not lying... are you?"
Artie shook her head. "Goodness, why would I do such a terrible thing?"
Yennefer narrowed her eyes and then after a few seconds she smiled. "Okay!"
Artie brought the bowl to her lips, and Yennefer took the first gulp.
It was as though currents had been passed through her body.
She jolted, her eyes glowing wide. Her feet were already leaving the floor as she struggled to escape.
But she was far too close to Artie, and she had expected it.
Artie grabbed her shoulder and held her in place, forcing her to drink the substance.
"N-no!! I’m not going to drink it!"
"Comon Yen, it’s for your own good, I’ll give you some bacon later—"
"No! You’re a liar, a big fat liar!"
Eliron just sat by the side, letting out a tired breath as he watched the exchange.
After about five minutes of struggling, Yennefer finally managed to break free.
She dashed behind Eliron and held his shoulders in an iron grip, while glaring at Artie from behind him.
Artie’s hair was now a mess, and some of the substance had spilled on her.
She sighed tiredly and leaned on her wall, breathing heavily as she watched Yen.
"Was... she always this energetic?" She asked.
Eliron shook his head. "It must be the mushrooms..."
"By the way, what would happen if she doesn’t drink that?"
Artie began tying her hair back. "She might end up being like this for two days."
She grabbed the bowl again. "Don’t worry, I’ll make sure she drinks it."
There was a certain look in her eyes that made Eliron sure that her next attempt would be less friendly...
"Do you have any actual juice around? And a cup?"
Artie took a quick glance at the room. "I can make some, what are you planning?"
Eliron got up from the chair much to Yennefer’s dismay and walked up to Artie.
"This is what we’ll do..."
A few minutes later, Eliron walked up to Yen, holding two cups in his hand.
Yennefer glared at him like an angry cat. She had now made the corner of Artie’s room her lair, and had pulled the couch to shield herself.
"Here, I made you some juice."
Juice seemed to now be her trauma word, because she recoiled at the sound of it.
But Eliron placed the wooden straw on his lips and took a sip.
"See? It’s juice."
Yennefer’s eyes lit up and she crawled towards him. "Are you sure, are you sure?"
He nodded. "Of course!"
Without a second thought, Yen began drinking the juice and continued till everything was gone.
What she did not know was that Eliron was manipulating things with his other hand.
The truth was that there was juice...
But that was not the only thing she was drinking. The first cup was pure juice, and that was the first thing she tasted.
But the second cup was a mixture of juice and the antidote. If he allowed her to drink that alone, then she would catch on immediately.
So he was changing the position of the straw every ten seconds, allowing her to drink from both without ever realising what was going on.
Soon, everything was gone.
"You’re pretty good at this..." Artie commented from the side.
Eliron got up and offered Yennefer a hand, the angel happily took it and he pulled her to her feet.
He organised Yen’s messy hair before saying, "I have a little experience..."
Being the lowest ranked person at a construction site meant that you got all the jobs no one else wanted to do.
This included taking care of the bosses kids dying your many breaks.
He shook his head to rid himself of the old thoughts. "So now we just wait for the drug to do its work?"
Artie glanced at Yennefer who was still glaring at her. "Well, if you could get her to do a little exercise, it would help her condition."
"Excercise huh..."

After leaving Artie’s house, Eliron went to the site he was planning on building his house.
It was a vast expanse of land not too far from his hut with a small river running by the land.
Initially, his plan was to build a simple cottage, but now that he had a dwarf’s thumb and the infinity pouch, Eliron set his sights on greater achievements.
"I’m going to build a modern duplex!" He said to himself, staring at the land.
He already had the plan mapped out in his head, all he had to do now was bring it to reality.
"Duplex?" Yen asked, hovering over him. "Is it going to be big?"
"Very very big, and I’ll give you a room!"
"Yay! I’m going to get a room! The biggest room right?"
Eliron folded his arms across his chest and slowly shook his head. "Well that depends..."
"You might end up having to sleep in the kitchen you know?" He said, closing his eyes in sombre reflection.
Yennefer’s face fell. She hurriedly flew so close to him and held his shoulders, shaking him back and forth.
"I don’t wanna sleep in the kitchen." She sobbed, her eyes moised.
Eliron opened one eye. "Well... in that case... will you be willing to help little ol’ me?"
Yennefer let go of him, her feet touching the floor. "You mean... work?" Her expression faltered.
’She’s still so lazy even in this state??’
"Oh no!" Eliron shouted dramatically. "How am I going to build this house alone? Poor Yennefer is going to end up sleeping in the toilet!"
"No, wait, wait!" Yennefer exclaimed. She scratched her head cutely, thinking through what he had said.
Then her shoulders fell. "Will I get jerky...?"
Eliron gave her a thumbs up, up. "As much as you can eat." 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝔀𝓮𝒃𝙣𝓸𝒗𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝒎
She smiled warmly, her cheeks blushing pink. "Yay! What do I do first??"
Drugged Yennefer proved to be rather efficient when it came to manual labour.
While he dug out the markings for the house’s foundation, Yen was flying all around the village to gather large rocks.
She was moving so fast that nearly every minute she would come back with a large haul.
Since she could carry two people while flying, a sack of rocks was nothing to her.
By the end of the day, Eliron had not only carved out the foundation, he had completed it.
The foundation was primarily made of stones that both he and Yen had gathered.
They are arranged in a neat rectangle and were held together with elven ’kortar’, a local form of mortar that acted like glue to keep the stones in place.
Then at each edge of the house were thick wooden logs, cut into large cuboids that would act as the pillars.
Yennefer was lying flat on the grass next to the foundation, her chest slowly rising and falling, sound asleep.
While Eliron was tying his long hair up, his shirt long discarded, and his chiseled body in full view.
He was planning his next move when a woman ran towards him, only to freeze when she saw his state.
Her eyes strolled down to his body and she closed her eyes, her cheeks rosy.
"G-good evening my lord!" She stuttered nervously.
"Good evening, do you need me for something?" Eliron asked, placing his shovel on his shoulder.
"C-Cheif Lazarus... Chief Lazarus requests your presence at his hut..."
"Oh?"
’I guess today was actually the day we agreed to meet.’
"Alright, tell him I’ll be there soon. I just have to wrap up things here."
