The Extra Villain: I Made a Contract With The Dragon Empress!-Chapter 307: Dragon Transformation
"That healing power… how did she achieve it?"
Nerixa stared at Nysera in shock. The dragon race possessed natural healing abilities, but their strength depended on talent and bloodline—the greater the talent and the purer the bloodline, the stronger the healing.
In her eyes, Nysera's healing should have been weak. After all, by dragon standards, Nysera was considered weak.
But reality proved otherwise. Nysera's healing was extraordinary.
In just seconds, she healed that severe burn. Unless she possessed exceptional talent and a powerful lineage, that should have been impossible.
"It seems I need to investigate this," she murmured, narrowing her eyes. "If she truly has something special, I wouldn't mind bringing her to my side and making her my loyal subordinate."
"Let's start the second round, Liora!" Nysera said enthusiastically.
She bent her knees and lunged forward with astonishing speed.
Liora did not panic. She raised her left hand, and in an instant, dozens of three-meter-long roots shot toward Nysera.
Nysera clenched her fist, silver light radiating from it, and punched forward.
Boom!
The blow instantly shattered the roots into fragments. In the next moment, she was already in front of Liora, her fist raised high.
"You lose, Liora!"
Boom!
The powerful punch triggered a massive explosion, forcing everyone to cover their ears.
Just when they thought Liora had lost, the sight before them stunned them once more.
"Lost? How is that possible?" Liora smiled faintly.
A giant root shaped like a hand blocked the punch.
Nysera's eyes widened. She was about to counterattack when another root suddenly shot toward her.
Her body was flung into the air, but she quickly regained her balance.
"It seems their fight won't be easy," Ronald remarked with admiration.
He had already grown bored watching the other students. Some were defeated in an instant, while others relied on dull, repetitive fighting styles. None of it was worth watching.
But Liora and Nysera were different. They were displaying extraordinary power, and that alone made the match worthwhile.
The professors nodded in agreement. At first, they had doubted Ronald's decision to remain silent when Nysera was injured.
Now they finally understood. Nysera was no ordinary dragon girl—she was a rare talent.
This was clearly a battle worth watching, a chance to see just how far the two of them could go.
Boom!
Nysera launched a relentless barrage of attacks, each strike carrying immense pressure and force. 𝐟𝐫𝕖𝗲𝘄𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝕧𝐞𝚕.𝕔𝕠𝐦
Yet Liora continued to block them with the roots under her control.
Realizing such attacks were useless, Nysera leaped back and shouted, "Silver Dragon Transformation!"
Whoosh!
A brilliant silver light burst from her body, and her figure gradually grew to three meters tall.
When the light faded, a silver dragon came into view. Her wings spread wide, and two long horns rose above her head.
Everyone was stunned by the transformation.
"She turned into a dragon!" one of the students exclaimed.
It was their first time seeing a dragon in person—especially one that had transformed from a human form.
"She can use transformation? It seems I underestimated her," Nerixa whispered in awe.
She no longer saw Nysera as trash. Now, she regarded her as an equal.
The dragon transformation ability could only be used by dragon children who had reached adolescence—usually around two hundred years old.
Yet judging by her appearance, Nysera was still within the young dragon range—perhaps only around a hundred years old.
"How interesting… the dragon race's transformation ability is truly remarkable," Luvis muttered with excitement.
He hadn't expected so many talented students in the second wave—Catrine, Liora, Nysera, Caldor, and the others.
All of them possessed tremendous potential and were worthy of becoming his future subordinates.
And Luvis was not the only one thinking that way. The students who aimed to become ring bearers thought the same.
They had already set their sights on the second wave as their future subordinates.
"A dragon? That girl is much stronger than I expected," Luna muttered in amazement.
A dragon possessed strength dozens of times greater than a human at the same level.
Since Nysera had transformed into a dragon, it seemed certain she would win this battle.
"Don't be so hasty. Liora is the princess of the Druid race. There's no way she'll lose that quickly," Merlin said casually. "Just watch—this will turn into a feast for the eyes."
Although he believed Nysera would ultimately win, Liora was not someone to underestimate. In his view, she was incredibly strong.
She excelled in long-range attacks and defense, all thanks to the roots under her control.
Even he wasn't confident he could destroy them all with pure physical strength alone.
Catrine, Luna, and Margaret remained silent. They had witnessed Merlin's analytical skills, so they trusted his judgment.
Roar!
"Let's begin again!"
Nysera flapped her wings, shot into the sky, and dove toward Liora, swinging her right claw.
Liora didn't dare act carelessly. She could clearly sense the danger from Nysera—it was far greater than before.
Roots burst from the arena floor, intertwining and merging to shield her from the attack.
But Nysera's claws were overwhelmingly powerful, tearing the root barrier apart in an instant.
"Danger!"
Liora panicked and hurriedly retreated, but Nysera gave her no chance to escape.
Nysera chased Liora wherever she leaped, thrilling the spectators.
Now she had seized full control of the battle, completely suppressing Liora, who had previously held the advantage.
Boom!
Boom!
Each of Nysera's strikes damaged the arena. Fortunately, the automatic repair system activated immediately each time.
'If this continues, I'll lose. It seems I have no other choice,' Liora whispered.
She pressed her palms together and shouted, "Nature Magic: Gods' Roots!"
Whoosh!
Five-meter-long roots burst from the arena floor. Unlike the previous ones, these were golden, glowing with a faint, sparkling light.
They shot toward Nysera, binding her tightly before yanking her down and slamming her into the ground.
Boom!
A powerful shockwave rippled across the arena, nearly knocking the students off their feet.
Pain spread throughout Nysera's body, yet she refused to give up and struggled to free her legs from the golden roots.
Strangely, the roots were incredibly tough—far harder to break than the others.
"How is this possible?" she cried out in shock.
"Those are the Gods' Roots—one of the ultimate weapons of the druid race," Liora said between heavy breaths.
A satisfied smile curved her lips as she watched Nysera struggle.
"It's impossible for you to escape, Nysera. Just admit defeat."
