Inside a bar filled with a festive atmosphere that looked quite cheerful and peaceful.

The place was quite enchanting though it wasn't a place for the upper class of society like nobles to set foot in.

The clinking sound of glasses rang all around, there were loads of chatter with a group singing and dancing in a corner.

The bitter and pungent smell of alcohol assaulted one nose as they stepped in.

At a long table in the centre, a middle-aged bartender was wiping the wine glass while a man was sitting in front of him alone.

He took the small glass and chugged everything down in one shot. His face looks quite tired as if he hadn't slept for so long.

"I can finally enjoy some peace."

"Because of that bastard, I was condemned severely for wasting his precious time."

"Just wait for next year, I will surely give you hell. For now, let's drink and look for a girl to enjoy." He spoke softly.

The bartender raised his brows looking at the man mumbling to himself and sighed.

Working here for years, how many types of pieces had he not seen that take out their frustration?

The man who was staring around suddenly saw a woman with red hair giving her a fiery personality walking towards him and sitting down beside him.

He raised his brows seeing the woman who ordered a shot of vodka.

For a moment he was enchanted by the woman who gave him a sweet tender smile and muttered in a delicate tone.

"Hello, Pretty boy."

"Don't you think that it is bad to drink alone so why don't I accompany you?"

The man, as if his ego had been raised, gave a smile and raised his glass to give a cheer, and spoke "Thanks, pretty lady, for accompanying me."

"The honor is mine." The woman giggled.

"It's good to be introduced as a lady. All men now only think of me as a mature woman who had lost her charm years ago."

"That man doesn't have eyes to appreciate pretty flowers like you."

"You sure have a way with words which make me think whether you are a flower picker or not."She spoke with a bewitching smile.

The man showed a shy smile while the woman leaned forward exposing her sleek cleavage and whispered in his ear" I like flower pickers."

The two of them flirted with each other for a while and the night deepened, the woman stood up and was about to leave, but stopped seeing that the man had a disheartened expression.

The woman looked at the man and cast a mischievous smile and muttered, "Small brother would you like to accompany me tonight?"

The man suddenly felt energised by her words and immediately stood up and said"I am a big brother, not small."

"We will find out the truth." She spoke and tugged her arms inside his as both went to look for a room.

They booked a hotel nearby. Since both of them were half drunk, they had to borrow each other's shoulders to get to the room.

CREEK!

The woman fell on the bed while the man stood there silently while calming himself before the wild night.

He was about to pounce on the bed when he felt someone grabbing his hair and then.

QUANG!

His head was slammed on the table beside the door, shattering the edges of the table.

"Who the fu....?"

BANG!

Before he could curse, his face was slammed onto the table again.

"Bastard!!!" He screamed and tried to shake off the man but.

'What kind of power is this!'

'No, I am feeling weaker. I can't use mana.'

Still, he struggled and tried to throw his hands but his wrist was grabbed and he was pulled up into the air and slammed to the ground with a loud bang.

BANG!

Another loud band was heard and his thigh was hit hard and his thigh bone had been crushed.

As he was wondering what was going on, he heard a crisp cloud voice.

"Me Kellar, nice to see you around."

"I am an honourable member of the Villain Society who came for the potion which you have invented."

Cellar tried to squint his eyes to look back but he could only see a cloaked man with a mask having a pair of black eyes.

"Potion...What potion?"

His head was slammed again brutally and he was beaten to a pulp.

"Answer what you are asked."

"Understand!!"

"Nothing more or nothing less."

"When we attacked Horizon, I took a keen note of your research. I knew that you could be useful and since your master Will had already shown the performance, we knew that you had finished your job."

"The portion hasn't been finished and there may be huge side effects." Kellar tried to plead but what he got was a loud cracking noise and his right arm was dislocated.

"Arghhhhhhh!''He wailed while praying that his sound may attract attention but unfortunately the entire room had been sealed.

"Just say what you are asked."

"Hey, Mona just search his body and take out his ring."

The woman stood up and searched his body and took out the dimensional ring.

"Sir, there is a potion in it," Mona answered.

"Good Job Mona! I will ask for a promotion for you when we return."

Mona bowed her head with gratitude.

"Kellar don't worry. We will finish the potion on your behalf and make it a worldwide product."

"But I am disgusted with your attitude of talking back."

"Mercy! Please have mercy!" Kellar begged sorrowfully.

"Don't worry I am a merciful person."

"As an honourable and kind member of the Villain Society, I will not commit such an atrocity which doesn't fit the name of our organization."He spoke sarcastically.

"That's why I will take this left hand of yours."

The man wearing a cloak spoke and a chill flashed in his eyes holding the wrist, he pulled the arm with all his strength.

A sound akin to cutting off paper sounded as the entire arm was ripped off from the body.

"Aaaaaaaahhh!"

"Bastard!!!"

Kellar shouted as an unimaginable pain transversed through his body which was enough to make one crazy.

Tears were forced out of his eyes as he tried to contain the pain while wondering in his heart what crime he committed to get such treatment.

But the cloaked man took out a handkerchief and closed Kellar's nose with it, making him unconscious, and stood up.

"Let's leave."

.........

The sun had yet to rise but Lucas arrived at the station waiting for the train.

He looked around and sauntered around and walked toward the designated platform number.

He reached earlier and there were fewer people.

As he glanced around he saw a lady coming toward her.

Lucas smiled seeing her and took out the ring and said"Your Highness! Here is the ring."

"Did you take your revenge?" Julian asked.

"Yeah, I just ripped one of his arms," Lucas answered.

"You are too soft Lucas. I told you we should kill him."

"It wouldn't be too much fun in that way, your Highness, and I am not that petty to kill the person"

Julian rolled her eyes as he knew that this guy held a grudge in his heart like a petty woman.

"You shouldn't have come here to fetch the ring. I could have given the ring to the maid."Lucas spoke.

Julian's expression stiffened on hearing Lucas's words while her cold expression crumbled.

"The potion is an important thing. I don't think it would be good to hand it over to anyone."Julian spoke, recollecting herself while calling Lucas a dummy.

As they conversed with each other the train finally arrived.

"Farrell Lucas," Julian spoke softly while waving her hand.

"You don't need to say that. We are going to meet soon." Lucas chuckled and hoarded the train.

Laying back on the settee, Lucas remembered Julian who had a little bit of a saddened expression and he smiled.

"Even if it is a month, I think I will miss you, Julian."
