THE GOD EATER-Chapter 153: Explosive Power.

It is already impressive that he can threaten the lives of enemies with level 2 Dao Statuses who are supposed to be as strong as him with only the power of his Life Ability. So, he shouldnt beat himself up that this isn’t enough to kill all of their enemies.

Of course, things would be very different once he decides to fight them with the combined power of his body, his Life Ability, the Sword Heart Metac, and the Reversal Metac. But he didn’t need to do all of that to kill the enemies he had his eyes on.

He stayed in relative safety while sniping at their eyes or lungs or hearts. The only urgency that he felt was from the possibility that he wouldn’t have enough to kill.

This was a true possibility because it quickly became obvious that they had outnumbered their hands. This became the case because they had two beast masters among them who released all of their beasts at once.

One of them released a swarm of acidic flying insects that secret corrosive liquids in their enemies, and the other beast master released a horde of rays. The flying insects swarmed their enemies and melted all of the flesh on their bodies while gnawing their enemies down to their bones.

Loki was still confident of dealing with the rays, but the acidic insects made him feel a chill of fear. This was because his metallic body would be vulnerable to acid, just like flesh.

This made him say, "I guess me and the martial warriors are not so different."

He said this as he shot a bullet that shattered a rat and pierced the heart of the giant beneath the rat. His shot killed the giant, not the rats, so the sect will reward him for the kill, not the beast master.

He had literally stolen a kill, and no one would like that. Especially not someone from the Four Directions Sect. So the beast master glared at him venomously.

Loki didn’t look at the beast master, and he didn’t bother to apologize either. He did what he did intentionally, and he would definitely do it again if he got the chance to. So he wasn’t sorry for what he did at all.

Besides, no one would believe him even if he apologized. So he didn’t bother to pretend. Instead, he decided to look around for more kills to steal.

Just as he was doing this, Greg yelled at him, saying, "Ignorant Noob! Stop damaging my airship, or I will skin you."

This shout made Loki click his tongue in annoyance. But he still decided to be more careful next time. He did this for the sole reason that Greg was fighting the rank 4 giant and still had the leisure to notice what was going on around him and berate Loki.

Loki spared their fight a glance to see the outcome. After all, the outcome of the fight between the strongest of both teams would decide the outcome of this fight.

On one side was Greg. This forger was mostly using his Life Ability to fight. A flock of red fire birds had appeared around him and were suicide bombing the rank 4 giant.

Each red fire bird had a power of 4(Status) × 3(Telekinesis Metac) × (3 Mind + 3 Floating Furnace + 90% Energy Well) × (3 Living Fire + 3 Energy Amplification + 3 Force Lever) × (290% Overdrive), which is 2,161.08 points.

The rank 4 giant was constantly being rocked by these explosions. Ten of them were going off every second. Even the airship beneath them was taking a beating and was groaning. This caused Loki’s eyes to twitch.

He said to himself, "And you say I shouldn’t damage the airship when you’re trying to burn the airship. I think you just have it out for me for exposing your Life Ability."

His eyes twitched even more because, despite all of the explosions, the rank 4 giant was mostly fine. The man was scorched black, and his skin was burnt in many places, but he was still roaring in anger at Greg and was full of energy.

The captain roared as he lunged at Greg, saying, "I will kill you, you son of a bitch. I will tear you to pieces."

In response, Greg sneered at him and said, "You will need to catch me first, though."

As it turned out, not only would the giant need to catch him before the giant’s anger could be vented, but Greg was also making it more difficult to get this done by constantly running away from the giant.

Greg kept his distance while constantly pelting the rank 4 giant with his red fire birds. But the giant was durable and couldn’t be blown apart with one of ten explosions.

As Loki watched, he saw that the giant had a power of 3(Status) × 4(Giant Bones) × (4 Strength Amplification Life Ability + 5 Body + 60% Energy Well) × (4 Elephant Strength + 4 Crocodile Strength + 4 Tiger Strength + 4 Rhino Strength) × (320% Overdrive + 60% Energy Nexus), which is 7,004 points.

This kind of power made Loki whistle in appreciation. He also smacked his lips and said, "I want."

Greg has a Level 4 Dao Status, which puts his firepower at an impressive level. But this still wasn’t enough to overpower the rank 4 giant.

In fact, his power output was not even enough to match that of his enemy. So it wasn’t a surprise to Loki that the giant was able to catch up with Greg despite the explosions smashing into his face every second.

The giant had just gotten close to him, so the cannon was very close to its target. Greg put the cannon in the giant’s face and let it rip. A torrent of fire and heat exploded out of the cannon and washed over the giant.
