THE GOD EATER-Chapter 273: Chainsaw Rusty.

After shouting the warning for 5 minutes, Loki got to work breaking down the factory. He started breaking it down little by little.

He broke down a wall here. Then he waited a minute before breaking down another section of the walls.

His posture and aggressive stance were grand, but he was taking his time actually demolishing the building. So word of this was able to reach Rusty, and Rusty was able to rush over before he was done destroying 1/10th of the factory.

By the time Rusty appeared, a small crowd of people had gathered around the factory. Most of them were members of the Rusty Bolts Society, but there were other unrelated bystanders mixed into the crowd.

One group of bystanders that stood out from everyone was the police officers. There were five of them, and they were all rank 3.

Since he was clearly a rank 4 cultivator, the police officers didn’t try to use force on him. But Loki still gave them something to make them back off because they had rank 4 cultivators in the police department who would interfere with his plan if he didn’t follow the rules.

So everything was ready by the time Rusty came over. Only Rusty didn’t know this.

Rusty thought that this was a small dispute, and he didn’t know who he was dealing with, which was why he decided to come. If he knew what was truly going on, he wouldn’t have made an appearance.

Just like Loki remembered him, he was wearing a large black mech. The rockets at the back of the mech were spewing hot flames as the mech soared through the air, bringing Rusty to the factory.

But even before he reached the factory, he was already screaming, saying, "What are you doing? I never ordered any demolition. Is there a misunderstanding here?"

With the man of the hour in the scene, Loki decided to take action. He shrugged his shoulders and said, "It is about time you showed up."

As he spoke, the layer of second skin on his body began to change. It ballooned in size as if he were being inflated. Then the second skin turned into a giant silver mech.

The giant silver mech had four arms, each carrying rail guns. There were also two Gatling guns on the shoulders of the giant mech.

This was the same giant silver mech that Greg uses. They look practically identical. The only differences were that this mech had wings, didn’t have missile launchers, was smaller in size, and used a blue energy signature, not red like Greg’s.

Loki was about to start shooting when he caught sight of the bystanders and the police officers. He realized that if he let his gun loose right now, he would kill too many people and cause too much destruction to the city, which would increase the cost of the battle.

He is rich, but he is not wasteful. So he put away his guns and flew over to grab Rusty.

Rusty already suspected that things might not be as he was led to believe when the person demolishing his precious factory transformed into a mech. At that moment, he became hesitant to move forward.

So when Loki began approaching him with blinding speed, he knew that he was right to be suspicious. Then he decided that he didn’t want to have anything to do with this and that it was time to leave.

He turned around to escape immediately. This timely decision helped him move away from the factory, but he still couldn’t escape the danger.

Loki was too fast, so he caught up to Rusty and grabbed him with two of his hands. He used his two hands to raise Rusty into the air while his other two hands punched the black mech in a bid to break it open and get the man hidden within it.

This turn of events scared Rusty to the core of his being. He started shouting, saying, "Who sent you? What do you want? I can give you anything you want. Just name it."

He was pleading for his life, but he didn’t hold back in the fight at all. He threw everything he had at Loki to escape, even though he was already begging for mercy.

One of the hands of the mech turned into a chainsaw, which he smashed into the silver mech. The other hand turned into a drill, and he used it to stab the silver mech.

He used everything he had, but everything he could dish out was inadequate. There weren’t even sparks to show for his effort.

The only way he could tell that he was actually attacking the enemy was that the drill bit and the blades of the chainsaw were fracturing and breaking. This made it as if he was trying to cut a diamond with a wooden knife. His chainsaw was truly flaking away as the wooden knife would.

This made him panic, and his heart became full of more fear. He even raised the voice he was using to plead for mercy to make sure that the other person would hear him over the noise of his drill and chainsaw.

But Loki wasn’t listening to him. Loki was too busy admiring Rusty’s weapons.

As he watched, he made the Shifting Armor copy the weapons. So the two hands that he was using to break open the cockpit turned into a chainsaw and a drill.

This made him say, "Interesting. What more do you have?"

As if in response to his question, Rusty produced a flat circular shield that created a large blue energy shield around it. He smashed the energy shield against Loki’s face, but that only caused the energy shield to crack and shatter.

When that didn’t work, Rusty transformed the hand that was a drill into a cannon. He set the cannon against Loki’s chest and fired large drills into him. The drills spun as they crashed into his armor like meteors.
