Edward approached the towering stone sculpture in the Dean's front yard, causing a hush to fall over the crowd of gathered mages as they parted to make way for him.

With a determined expression, he raised his hand and focused his energy, sending a powerful surge of Mana into the sculpted figure.

The stone quivered and glowed with an otherworldly light, eliciting gasps of astonishment from the nearby mages as they felt his Tier 8 Mage Aura.

The air crackled with magic as his potent Mana energy enveloped the sculpture, channelling in a mysterious code that seemed to hum with power.

Suddenly, a shimmering door materialized before Edward, revealing a pathway to the Old Dean's collection of magic spells as if it was beckoning the mages forward.

Without hesitation, he stepped through the door and vanished from their sight.

The remaining mages exchanged bewildered looks, uncertain of what they had just witnessed.

As they contemplated the enigmatic events, a voice resonated from the portal, calling out to them.

"Follow me," Edward's voice echoed from the other side.

Without waiting for any further persuasion, the mages all hurried towards the door as if they feared being punished for arriving late.

While those in the front seemed intent on collecting all the magic spells reserved for them, striving to outpace their peers behind them.

Ironically, as they neared the doorway and attempted to push past those ahead, they discovered that the door had expanded to accommodate all of them.

Ceasing their jostling, as they walked in peacefully, side by side.

"Bunch of savages, they would never change no matter how much the academy tries to teach them, hump," another member of Pale's group remarked.

Though Edward had suggested they could address the issue of who would join their group later, but it didn't mean they hadn't already agreed on certain individuals who would be included, such as Lucas accepting Alec's proposal to include his clansmen In his group.

Pale gazed at the woman who spoke, feeling a headache coming on.

Her name was Luna Zero, and the Zero clan had managed to sneak her into the War God Mage Academy following Alec's defeat of Iver Dragonmir.

Her sole mission was to lay low within the academy, and she had been placed under Pale's care, making him like a big brother to her.

However, dealing with Luna, who acted like a spoiled brat, left him feeling stressed.

The Zero clan had been working tirelessly to cover up the news of Alec's victory over him, and they had managed to keep the information suppressed for a significant period due to the academy's isolation from the outside world.

So Luna was one of the young prodigies the Zero clan had focused on cultivating, and they had confidence in her ability to surpass Pale, so she was to re establish the Zero clan's prestige in the academy.

She carried a fan that she used to partially conceal her face.

And despite her talents, Luna displayed great disdain for mages from lower-ranking clans, embodying the behaviour expected of a Noble Mage.

Pale was aware that taking care of her would be a challenge, especially given that the clan had not provided him with additional cultivation resources; he had procured the one he got through Luna, whom he had been tasked with looking after.

Unexpectedly, the small ones she gave him had led to an instant breakthrough in his cultivation.

Lost in thought, Pale felt a piercing gaze upon him and his group as he turned to see members of the Gordons clan glaring at his group, with Alec seated, lazily observing everyone.

"Let's go now!" Pale exclaimed.

"What's the rush? There are still many commoner mages passing through," Luna protested, surprising the mages around them with her questioning of Pale's orders, as they remained unaware of her true identity.

"It doesn't matter; we must leave now," Pale insisted, striding forward as Luna pouted but followed obediently.

"Sorry, Pale, but I think I'll have to switch sides on this one," Kate announced as she began walking towards Lucas to ask him if she could join his group, leaving Pale shocked at her sudden departure.

Despite his urge to confront Kate and question her decision to align with Lucas, whom he viewed as a rival, Pale understood that he needed to present a strong front in front of the watching mages of his group and Luna.

With a determined expression, he turned towards the doorway and strode through, not bothering to call out to Kate, and his group followed him inside.

"Let's move now!" Alec declared, having waited for the crowd to thin before deciding to enter.

Observing the mages passing through the doorway, Alec found himself intrigued by their movements, though he had not expected what followed.

As Stepping through, he anticipated descending a staircase but instead found himself in a different space altogether.

Encountering a vast magical library housed within a stone room, Alec noticed low-tier magic spells displayed on shelves throughout the space, each emitting a unique elemental light.

At the room's edge, a staircase was there indicating the higher floors.

Enthralled by the array of low-tier magical scrolls, Alec lost himself in admiration as he passed through, particularly drawn to the section featuring fire element spells.

"If you're impressed with what you see, I can help you trade your chance to pick a Mid Tier spell for six Low Tier spells," Edward's voice spoke from close quarters, startling Alec.

Alec was startled as Edward's voice suddenly sounded close by while he was examining the names of a low-tier magic spell.

The unexpected proximity of Edward caused Alec quickly shift his gaze to meet Edward's, as again another person had come close to him without him detecting, and he assumed his mental powers were useless against those that were way powerful.

"General, you startle me, but don't worry, I know what I want, and I'm not interested in making that exchange, I was simply admiring all these magical spells, by the way, could you tell me where the Mid-Tier Spell regions are located?"

Alec inquired as he gestured towards the bustling crowd.

"It's been difficult to find them with so many mages around."

"It's because you've been looking in the wrong direction all along, this area is not for Mid-Tier spells. You'll need to head up that staircase to the second floor, where the Mid-Tier spells are kept," Edward explained as Alec thanked him with a nod.

Before Alec could proceed, Edward's hand moved in a swift motion, seemingly writing in the air.

Magically, a silver rune began to materialize from his writings, forming into a complete image as soon as Edward finished.

With a flick of his hand, the rune shot towards Alec, who could only watch in awe as it approached, though he was uncertain of the rune's purpose, but Alec knew he couldn't evade its speed.

Swish!

The rune embedded itself into the War God Mage Academy student badge tied to his waist, transforming it into a shimmering silver hue.

His name and realm were now elegantly displayed on the badge, accompanied by a drawn medal and the engraved word "Knight."

But within seconds, his achievement points were revealed, it caused the badge to shift from silver to gold, then to crimson, and finally to an emerald green.

Alec's rank had also been upgraded to that of a commander, reflecting his impressive one thousand and one hundred achievement points.

Gazing at the fine detailing on his badge, Alec marvelled at how his wooden insignia had transformed into a stunning emerald depiction of his main information, truly a sight to behold.

"Thank you, General Edward, I will take my leave now," Alec expressed his gratitude, bowing with both hands before making his way towards the staircase at the edge of the stone room.
