Chapter 896: Chapter 49 Heluo: Slurp, That’s the Taste of Lies!_3

“If that’s the extent of your strength, it’s still not enough to take the dragon-slaying entry ticket from our hands.”

Celebrian snorted coldly, her lips moving slightly.

The three Elf Secret Arrows that had missed their target flew back, guided by her will, forming a ‘品’ shape as they shot towards Heluo’s back.

Rose, who was leading the attack at the front, also suddenly made her move.

She invoked the Authority of Deities and a web of red and black Divine Power spread out, ensnaring Heluo’s limbs and immobilizing her.

More importantly, the web was imbued with a powerful divine toxicity that was invisible and intangible, making it hard to guard against. Once touched by it, the enemy would immediately fall into a state of paralysis and weakness, becoming prey ready to be slaughtered.

“Interesting…”

Heluo became slightly more serious, a torrent of golden-red Divine Power bursting from within her, turning into a blazing flame that instantly incinerated the toxic Divine Spider Silk and the incoming Elf Secret Arrows. Meanwhile, the rich Fertility Power coursed through her entire body, purifying the divine poison that had invaded.

“Clang!”

Accompanied by a sharp clang of metal, the red and black Dagger that Rose aimed at Heluo’s throat was restrained by a lucent golden wolf claw.

Easily defending against all attacks, Heluo taunted with a teasing laugh:

“Is that all?”

“Here comes my turn!”

A shout erupted from beneath the chaotic table and chairs. As Heluo turned toward the sound, an unexpected silver-grey figure emerged from behind her, wielding a Silver Sword and chopping down swiftly.

“Bang!”

The sword struck the ground and several marble tiles shattered instantly, with a few strands of brownish-grey wolf fur drifting in the wind.

Heluo touched the ends of her slightly damaged hair, looking at Xili with a mix of surprise and suspicion.

In that instant, the little girl had disappeared from her sensory Domain. It was truly inconceivable.

A mere mortal could possess something as rare as the Time-Space Blood. Who would have thought?

Luo En watched with a mischievous gleam in his eyes, enjoying the sight of his dear daughter being outplayed.

Throughout the years without his suppression, it was quite apparent that Heluo had become rather complacent.

It was evident from her attitude towards Rose and the other two that she did not regard them as a challenge at all.

Yet, these three had long since surpassed the realm of common soldiers.

One of them was a genuine female Evil God, who had been pursued by Odin for quelling a rebellion, and was still lively to this day; another was the future Elf Queen, with dual excellence in speed and power, versed in both Magic and Martial Arts; the last one was called the “Time-Space Girl,” whose Ancient Blood had the ability to cause minor disturbances in time and space, perfect for catching an opponent off guard.

While Luo En was reveling in schadenfreude, Heluo glanced towards him as if sensing something.

Luo En immediately restrained his unscrupulous smile, feigning an innocent demeanor to avoid giving himself away.

Heluo’s gaze circled Luo En’s face, then snorted coldly: “Are you done with your attack? Now, it’s my turn!”

The three ladies, sensing imminent danger, instinctively moved closer together in defense.

Their joint attack had only resulted in making the President, who was on the defensive, lose a strand of hair.

Now that she was about to counter-attack with full force, the consequences were potentially disastrous.

Seeing their wary stance, a smirk formed on Heluo’s lips. She charged towards a table in the corner of the room with a foot stomp, her wolf claw thrusting like lightning towards the throat of a spectator outside of the fray.

Despicable!

Caught off guard by this unexpected shift, the three women could only curse inwardly, realizing it was too late to come to the rescue.

As the claw neared its target, Heluo’s face revealed a smug, sly grin.

The invitation was not important. She could have as many as she wanted; that was her true objective.

Humph, liar, let’s see who you really are!

“Whoosh!”

The golden wolf claw pierced through the table, causing dishes to scatter chaotically.

Watching as the figure with a pierced chest disintegrated into particles of light, Heluo’s face darkened and she ground her teeth, looking behind her.

“Thank you for the President’s invitation,” said Luo En, casually waving the invitation he had just picked up from the table, his smile as calm as before.
