The Growth of a Titan-Chapter 434- Strange Feeling
Chapter 434: Chapter 434- Strange Feeling
Somewhere inside the manor was a man-made indoor hot spring-like setup, where there was a pool of water that could fit over a dozen people inside.
Next to it was an opening that could allow one to see the starry night sky and full moon outside.
On the surface of the pool of water, steam rose and drifted to every corner of the rather large washroom. It obscured the surface of the water somewhat.
However, if one looked closely, they might be able to make out a few white petals floating on the surface of the water.
They were lily petals. The sweet aroma that pervaded the washroom confirmed this notion.
Next to the pool of water, Sol was sitting on a small chair that was barely above one’s ankle. It only gave him a slight elevation off the ground so he might as well be sitting on the floor.
A towel laid across his lap while he had his head lowered so that Mar-Yue, who was standing in front of him, could wash his hair properly.
Sol cracked his eyes open and saw Mar-Yue’s feet. She was standing in front of him with nothing but a towel around her. If he looked up, only that thin fabric would be blocking his view of her figure.
Though it wasn’t a problem for him to see throw that thin fabric.
"Don’t you dare look up."
Mar-Yue suddenly said as if she could read his thoughts.
As if he didn’t hear the warning, Sol suddenly tried lifting his head, but Mar-Yue managed to keep it down.
"Pervert."
Mar-Yue muttered under her breath.
Sol smiled and said.
"You’ve already seen me without any clothes on, so I don’t think it’s fair."
Splash!
Mar-Yue suddenly turned over a bucket of water onto Sol’s head to get the soap out.
"Fine, you can look up."
Sol raised his head and parted the hair that was stuck to his face. Mar-Yue’s figure appeared in front of him, but he was momentarily stunned. After recovering, Sol’s lips couldn’t help but reveal an amused smile.
Rather than wrapping a towel around her chest, Mar-Yue merely wrapped it around her waist, the same as he did. Though now that Sol looked, she didn’t really have anything on her chest to hide.
"Have you seen enough?"
Mar-Yue asked with hands on her hips when she saw that Sol was just staring at her.
Sol paused his appreciation upon hearing her words.
After seeing how unconcern Mar-Yue was about this situation, he said.
"I think you underestimate how beautiful you are... even if you lack an extra curve."
Mar-Yue frowned and suddenly flicked Sol’s forehead causing a soft thump to echo out.
"Do you think I would be this unbothered if it was someone else? Turn around so I can wash your back."
Sol rubbed his forehead as he turned around. The bracelets on his wrists shifted as he took out a hair tie from his storage ring and tied his hair.
Mar-Yue brought another chair over and sat down behind Sol before she started washing his back with a small cloth.
After hesitating for a moment, she suddenly said.
"You never told me what type of bloodline you have. It’s similar to our Giant Race bloodline but it’s completely different at the same time."
After a period of silence, Sol asked.
"Can I keep it a secret for now?"
"It’s fine if you do, I don’t have an intense desire to know. It’s just that ever since I’ve met you, I’ve been having this strange feeling. I think it’s my bloodline reacting to yours."
Hearing this, Sol thought about Yoon-Jae and Cian’s words about the strange aura around him. He was about to correct Mar-Yue and say that it wasn’t his bloodline, however, what she said next made him pause.
"The stronger my bloodline becomes the more I have this feeling."
"What kind of feeling?"
Mar-Yue’s hands washing Sol’s back paused as she thought for a moment.
"It’s a feeling that makes me want to stay close to you. But it’s not enough to influence my thoughts it’s just an inkling."
Sol stayed silent for a moment as he thought back to the time when Mar-Dule first approached him out of nowhere soon after he entered the Academy.
’No, Mar-Dule didn’t have the Giant Race bloodline then.’
"What about Mar-Dule? Does he get the same feeling?"
Mar-Yue recalled what Mar-Dule told her that night when she had witnessed Sol crying and Mar-Dule worrying. She had asked if they were close for Mar-Dule to be so anxious over him crying.
"Actually, I only met him a few months ago. But Sol is the type of person once you start talking to him, you’ll find yourself looking for random reasons to interact with him again. He’s a great person to be around."
"I think he would feel the same regardless."
Mar-Yue finally said before going back to scrubbing Sol’s back. However, when she saw that Sol had gone quiet, she added.
"My brother always wanted a sibling brother. I filled that gap when we were little, but things have changed. Even though he doesn’t show it, he probably thinks of you as a little brother."
"Haha, how dare he? Just because he’s taller and grew hair before me, I’m the older one between us!"
Sol’s worried thoughts were suddenly replaced by anger and amusement.
"Lift your hands."
Sol did as Mar-Yue asked and lifted his hands, but he continued to say.
"If there’s anyone I see as an older brother it’s Brother Yoon-Jae, but even then, he’s only a year older than me."
After washing Sol’s arms and sides, Mar-Yue dropped the small rag over his head.
"Your turn."
Sol picked up the rag and turned around to face Mar-Yue who had turned her back to him. After emptying the small bucket she had been using, he formed a hand seal and conjured a Water-type rune above the bucket.
The blue-colored second-grade rune appeared and began rotating. It quickly gathered the Water Aether Energy in the surroundings before converting it into a stream of water that poured into the bucket.
