The Last Commander of the Red Alert-Chapter 733: It’s You Again?
Inner Space, a remarkably unique realm, can be likened to a fantastical world.

The creation of such a space already skims close to the chaos of spatial torrents, but Inner Space stretches even closer to this brink—nearly to the limits. Such proximity causes numerous inexplicable phenomena to arise within.
Of course, these are but speculations. However, given the level of advancement of the Qiluo Civilization at the time, even their conjectures bore high accuracy.
Why Inner Space exhibits such oddities remains a mystery; after all, Yuan Yizhong once believed it to be merely hypothetical.
After Yuan Yizhong had relayed all the intelligence regarding Inner Space, Les finally approached, baffled: "Is the defense of Inner Space truly so formidable that not even I, a Protoss Large Galaxy-level Powerhouse, can make a dent?"
This was the shock of shocks for Les—utterly unscientific.
"I'm not sure myself. Perhaps this Inner Space is simply an anomaly," Yuan Yizhong replied, somewhat helplessly.
Su Chen had remained silent all this while. He had a hunch that he might be able to enter it. After all, he had been to such a place before—not in reality, but if it was a legacy of the Qiluo Civilization, then there was a possibility!
With this thought, Su Chen stepped forward and, before anyone could react, reached out to touch Inner Space. In the blink of an eye, he vanished from their sight.
"Commander!" Ju Ling cried out in alarm. She fired a bullet at Inner Space only for it to be repelled, knocking her back with force.
Les and Yuan Yizhong's faces changed dramatically as they prepared to unleash their strongest powers to rescue their Commander.
At this juncture, only Leng Yuwei remained calm, though her calmness was a veneer over inner turmoil. She knew she couldn't afford to be rash.
"Don't be impulsive. If we destroy Inner Space, what happens if Su Chen can't get out?"
Her words halted Les and Yuan Yizhong in their tracks.
"Madam, why would the Boss suddenly disappear?" Concern replaced Les's usual composure.
Yuan Yizhong appeared to have a revelation, his face registering shock: "Unless the Master of Inner Space permits it, no one can enter. If the Commander managed to get in... could it be there is someone inside Inner Space?!"
This conclusion sparked a flicker of panic in Leng Yuwei's eyes. She momentarily forgot that Su Chen was no longer the Commander who needed their protection.
The training in the Training Room had sufficed to elevate Su Chen to the peak of Powerhouses at his level, a fact unbeknownst to all.
"Look, it's the Commander!" Les suddenly shouted, drawing everyone's attention.
Through the spatial barrier, they could see the silhouette of their Commander, seemingly close yet worlds away.
Su Chen had indeed entered Inner Space, and more effortlessly than he'd dared to imagine; his previous visit had been speculative, and the reality had taken him by surprise.
"It really does resemble that place. I never expected to come back here. I just hope I won't encounter that person again."
As Su Chen entertained this thought, his vision blurred, and a figure emerged within the pavilion.
A middle-aged man, garbed in exquisite attire, held a delicately crafted teapot in one hand, pouring two cups of tea on the table.
"To think that my humble abode would entertain a visitor. Please, join me for a cup," the man said with a hearty smile, extending an invitation to Su Chen.
Despite Su Chen's reluctance to move forward, a sudden urge to leave the place overwhelmed him.
The reason was simple: the middle-aged man before him was the very person he had encountered in the Qiluo Civilization space on Earth!
Why was it him again?
This individual had once tried to take over his body and was ultimately dealt with by the System. He should have been dead; how could he possibly appear here?
After pondering for a moment, Su Chen reassured himself with the thought of the System as his trump card. If this man dared to attempt possession again, the System would teach him a harsh lesson.
With newfound confidence, Su Chen approached and sat down in front of the middle-aged man, observing him intently.
The man seemed, in every aspect, to be a living human, an ordinary person without any notable strength.
But something didn't add up. How could a mere mortal live for such an extended period?
How long had it been since the Qiluo Civilization era? Even Su Chen had lost track of time.
During their conquest of the Rota Empire, they had sought information about the Qiluo Civilization, only to find that not a soul had heard of its existence.
"Who are you?" Su Chen asked directly.
The middle-aged man continued to smile, placing a cup of tea before Su Chen: "Such straightforwardness in a guest is refreshing, not at all displeasing. Please, have a taste of my tea—it's a rare brew enjoyed by only a select few."
Of course, Su Chen wasn't about to drink anything here; who knew what the man might have added to it?
Was this man, who had once tried to seize his body, now pretending to have amnesia?
"Who are you!" Su Chen demanded, his tone growing stern, poised to strike at any moment.
The man shook his head. "If you've managed to come here, then it means you must be a human born of the Mother Star, right? Did you encounter another 'me' on the Mother Star?"
Seeing a flicker of confusion in Su Chen's eyes, he offered an explanation: "The Mother Star is the planet of your birth. I'm not sure what you call it now, but in our time, it was only known as the Mother Star."
Su Chen didn't find this odd. Each civilization would rename their planet over generations; a single planet could have countless names through the ages.
What caught Su Chen's attention was something else—the man had mentioned... another 'me'?
"Are you dead or alive? Was that person a fragment of your consciousness?"
The man took a leisurely sip of his tea, appearing thoroughly contented. Looking into the distance with a slightly misty gaze, he said, "It's a long story, but over the years, you're the only one who has found this place. These matters, I can only discuss with you. I hope that after you've heard me out, you'll be able to make a choice."
A choice?
What choice was he expected to make?
Su Chen felt perplexed. The Qiluo Civilization was far too ancient; all that remained were ruins. He had merely acquired some of their technology. Could it be that the man wanted him to pay some sort of price?
That would be unacceptable. After all, it was another version of this middle-aged man who had almost taken over his body. If not for the System, Su Chen would have been long gone, with no chance of making it here.
As Su Chen was about to speak, the middle-aged man began to tell his tale.
"This is a story about the Qiluo Civilization, a civilization that was fleeting yet glorious." (To be continued)
