Rex made the choice to give her what she wanted. His telekinesis tightened around her throat again, cutting off her air completely this time, and he slammed her into the ground one more time with enough force to make a small crater.

"Ahhhnnn~! Yes~ Moreeee~! Moreeeeee~!!! I love it!" Nyx keeps screaming and moaning. "I want you to keep hurting me like this until I trust you fully with my heart’s desire~!"

"Heh! What a weird fucking nympho bitch."

After that, he picked her up, spun her around, and threw her through two trees, one after the other. Finally, he caught her and held her in the air again.

"Ohhhhhhh~! Again~! Again~! And again~! Until I can’t feel a thing...!" Nyx starts breathing hard with her mouth drooling. "You can stab me as well, you know?! Use that sharp trunk to stab me in the stomaaaaccchhhhh~!"

Nyx was shaking all over, and it was clear that she was getting more and more ecstatic instead of in pain. Her eyes were half-closed, her breathing was fast and shallow, and when Rex’s invisible grip tightened around her throat one last time, she went completely still before making an unmistakable sound.

She had just reached her peak after being hit and choked with telekinesis.

"Hah... hah... hah..." Nyx showed a fucked-up face where it felt like she had just experienced hard sex. "I can’t keep up with his roughness... noooooo..."

Rex let her go, and she fell to the ground in a boneless heap, twitching a little and making small joyful sounds.

"It... was... worth it... ahhnn~!"

For about three seconds, the clearing was completely quiet.

Then Lilith ran forward with a look of pure victory on her face. "You all see that? SEE?!"

"I told you he was strong, especially with that telekinesis of his!" Lilith starts jumping excitedly. "So it is the truth that he saved me from one of the apostles!"

"Did you think I was lying? Well, it turns out I wasn’t!"

"He’s just as amazing as I said, and you all doubted me, but now you can see it for yourself and feel ashamed of yourselves!"

She was almost vibrating with vindicated energy when she grabbed Rex’s arm in a possessive way. "Thank you for doubting me, you all owe me an apology now!"

"Especially to my savior, my protector, my dark guardian who turns apostles into puddles and demon maids into quivering messes!"

The maid with purple hair who had first challenged Rex was quiet, but her face had changed from suspicion to something more like respect.

The maid with cat ears was nervously swishing her tail.

The maid with silver hair was helping Nyx sit up, but Nyx still looked completely out of it and happy.

"Well... uh... point made," the maid with silver hair said at last. "Sorry for doubting you, masked man."

Rex nodded. "It’s alright. I have my fun anyway with that masochist bitch."

"My name is Sera, and these are Mika, Clara, Yuna, and Nyx. Anyone who can do that to Nyx without killing her is the real deal because she acts like a tank in battles for us all."

She pointed to each of the other maids in turn. "We’re Lord Mordecai’s personal servants, his inner circle of people who gather information and run his household."

"If you want to meet him, we can set it up, but first... with all due respect, we need to know what you really want."

Rex was about to say something when his Foresight suddenly flared up, warning him of an attack coming from behind.

"Just one second," Rex smirked. "There’s some trash that could bring me to your lord even closer."

He moved without thinking, raising one hand and pointing a single finger at the source of the threat. A huge fireball, at least the size of a carriage, was flying through the air toward the clearing, right at the group of demon maids.

Rex’s new Energy Manipulation power reached out and grabbed the fireball’s structure, instantly figuring out what it was made of. Fire elemental energy that has been compressed and held together by binding spells is meant to explode on impact with a lot of force.

He flexed his power, and the fireball stopped in mid-air, about ten feet from the nearest maid. Then he changed the energy patterns, switched the direction of the components, and added his own power to the structure that was already there.

The fireball shot back the way it had come, but it was now twice as big and much faster.

The trees lit up with an explosion after a scream came from the forest. Smoke rose into the sky before dawn.

"Well," Rex said as he put his hand down. "It looks like we have guests at the perfect fucking time."

Four people came out of the trees.

Three of them were assisting the fourth individual, who had suffered severe burns from the returning fireball. They were all young, probably in their twenties, and they wore a bunch of mismatched adventuring gear that made it look like they were a new party instead of an old team.

"My package had been seen to its coordinates, huh?" Rex laughed.

The woman in charge had long black hair tied back in a ponytail and cold, calculating eyes. She wore light armor that protected her less than it let her move around easily.

She also carried a staff that glowed with leftover magical energy. Her face showed a mix of grim determination and fear that was hard to hide.

There were three other people behind her. A man with short black hair and armor that looked like it belonged to a samurai, holding a katana that looked like it had been used a lot.

A woman with pink hair styled in fancy curls and wearing robes that showed she was a mage or healer.

Additionally, there was another woman with short white hair who was carrying an unstrung bow.

"Those names... I didn’t need to say what they are," Rex smiled behind his mask. "It matched the title of isekai."

Rex thought to himself. "This was just right... A chance to show the demon maids how useful I was again and get rid of some of the reincarnators who had been following them."

"Demons!" Rei shouted in a way that sounded like she was trying to convince herself as much as her audience. "We will stop your evil and bring you to justice for your crimes against humanity in the name of balance and justice!"

Sera and the others start to get ready. "Give us a fucking break! We ran off this far away, and all of you are still desperate enough to chase us all?!"

"Enough talk! I will not let you all run away this time!"

She raised her staff, and the other three members of her group spread out in a basic tactical formation. They had clearly practiced this, but their sloppy performance made it clear that they hadn’t fought together very much.

"Three of you," Rei said, pointing at Takeda, Kagura, and Ayame. "Concentrate on the demon maids."

"I’ll take care of the one with the mask. He’s obviously their leader or some kind of demon commander."

Rex felt a laugh building up in his chest. "This was going to be fun for the both of us!"

"Stay back," he told the maids, and his voice was full of power. "I’ll take care of this trash!!"

"Think of it as another test of my skills to prove my trust to the demons."

Then he walked up to Rei, moving slowly and casually.

Rei hit first, and her staff sent three bolts of concentrated magical energy screaming at Rex from different directions. They were made to home in on their target and change their paths mid-flight to make them harder to avoid.

Rex didn’t even try to get out of the way. His telekinesis reached out and grabbed all three bolts at once, keeping them frozen in the air about two feet from his mask.

Then he casually changed their course, sending them back toward Rei in a spiral with more speed.

"I-Impossible!"

She barely had time to put up a defensive barrier, and even then the force of the attack that came back pushed her back a few steps.

Rex said, "Impressive," but his tone made it clear that he didn’t think so.

"You can stop your own attacks... how clever!"
