The Maid's Rise to Be a President's Wife-Chapter 249: Baby, You Came at the Wrong Time!
Chapter 249 - Baby, You Came at the Wrong Time!
In the hospital,
It was still the same place, but there were now members of the Tang family present!
From their conversation, Yiren learned that Ji Minze had taken Ke'er to the Tang family's residence today. Ke'er's head started to ache severely because she remembered something.
The doctor came out and asked,
"Who is the patient's family member?"
"We are!"
"I am!"

The members of the Tang family and George Ryan said simultaneously. After looking at each other, they both turned to the doctor.
"Doctor, how is my daughter?" Cheng Ling'er asked anxiously.
"The blood clot in her brain still hasn't dissipated. This is affecting her memory center, so she can't remember some things, which is what we usually call amnesia. Appropriate stimulation can help the patient recover her memory, but if it's too intense, the patient won't be able to bear it. So, it's best not to stimulate her during this period," the doctor instructed.
Yiren couldn't bear to listen anymore. She left the hospital dejectedly.
Ji Minze took Ke'er back to the Tang family's residence in order to help Ke'er recover her memory as soon as possible. He knew that Ke'er was Tang Lei, so he wanted her to remember him and their past as soon as possible. He had never let go of his love for Tang Lei!
Ji Minze and Tang Lei had too many past experiences and beautiful memories. They had once been lovers!
And she was nothing. At most, she could only be considered a substitute for Tang Lei.
Now that Tang Lei was back, she seemed so redundant.
Yiren heard her phone ringing. She took out her phone and saw that it showed: "Husband!"
She didn't answer it. Seeing these two words now was very dazzling and full of mockery! It reminded her that she was occupying someone else's husband!
Ji Minze didn't belong to her!
Yiren didn't go back to the company but directly returned to the Ji Family Estate.
"Good day, Young Mistress!" The maid, Xiao Qiao, greeted respectfully.
Yiren glanced at Xiao Qiao and showed a tired smile. "Thank you!"
At the Ji Family Estate, Xiao Qiao had helped her with a lot of things, so she suddenly wanted to say thank you to her.
"Young Mistress, what's wrong?" Xiao Qiao asked when she saw that Yiren didn't look right. She had never seen the Young Mistress this tired before. Every time she saw her, she was full of energy. She had even seen her climb over the wall to go out when she was injured.
"I'm fine. You can go and attend to your business," Yiren said and then went upstairs.
Just as she reached the door of the bedroom, her phone rang again. It was still Ji Minze calling.
"Hello?" Yiren answered feebly. She didn't want to hear any high-sounding words anymore. She didn't want to listen to any more of his lies.
"Yiren, where are you?" Ji Minze asked anxiously on the other end of the phone.
"I'm at home," Yiren leaned against the door and said. "I was a bit tired, so I came back first."
"I thought you had gone somewhere. Then you should rest early. I might be back late," Ji Minze said on the other end of the phone.
"I know," Yiren said. "That's it for now. I'm hanging up."
Yiren hung up the phone and suddenly went limp and fell to the ground!
"Young Mistress!" The passing maid shrieked and then quickly rushed over to help Yiren up.
Yiren lay on the bed and woke up to see Ji Minze sitting by the bedside.
"Are you still feeling unwell?" Ji Minze held Yiren's somewhat cold hand and asked. In the hospital, he received a call from the butler saying that Yiren had fainted, so he rushed back immediately. The family doctor had just examined her and told him some good news.
"What happened to me?" Yiren struggled to sit up but just felt extremely weak all over.
"Just lie down. The doctor came just now and said that you're more than two months pregnant. I'm going to be a father!" Ji Minze said with a smile. This feeling was very subtle!
Yiren looked at Ji Minze's excited expression in disbelief and simply couldn't accept this sudden news.
"Minze, do you want this baby?" After a while, Yiren asked dejectedly.
"Why wouldn't I? This is our first child, and I'm really looking forward to it!" Ji Minze was surprised by Yiren's question. Why wouldn't he want their child? "Don't let your thoughts run wild. Just take good care of your body."
Yiren nodded.
Just then, Ji Minze's phone rang. He answered it, and Yiren could tell that it was about Ke'er, or more precisely, about Tang Lei.
After hanging up the phone, Ji Minze said apologetically to Yiren,
"The hospital called and asked me to go over. You rest well. I'll try to come back early to accompany you."
Yiren nodded again.
Ji Minze left the bedroom, and Yiren's tears streamed down her face. She reached out and touched her not-yet-obvious abdomen.
Baby, you came at the wrong time!
