The Master Programmer-Chapter 135: The Emperor’s Gaze 1
Jason tilted her chin up, forcing her to meet his eyes. "You’re everything to me too, Emily," he said, his tone low and deliberate. "And because of that, I want to work hard to protect what we have." As he said this, he had no idea, but his eyes glowed slightly as he activated the Skill: [Emperor’s Gaze].
This was a Skill he had recently picked up. He wanted to test it out right now. After all the ability to literally implant deas straight into someone’s mind, a manner of mind control, was incredible to Jason, and he could never imagine ever getting into his mind something like that.
Emily’s breath hitched. Jason’s words were designed to resonate deeply, embedding themselves in her thoughts. By associating her feelings of safety and love with his presence, Jason subtly reinforced her dependency on him. This was Anchoring at the highest level.
Funnily enough, the best times to implant suggestions were right before sleep, and right after sex. This might be the perfect time. And combined with [Emperor’s Gaze] all of it came together to create something incredible.
She responded with a shy nod, her lips parting as if to speak, but Jason silenced her with a soft kiss. Better not let her have some kind of objection or anything like that. The kiss deepened, drawing them into a world where nothing else existed but the shared heat between them. When they finally broke apart, Jason’s gaze darkened with intent.
"Emily, you trust me, don’t you?" His voice was velvet, smooth and persuasive. "You’ll always do everything I say," Jason said his eyes glowing again. He had only activated it for a split second back then, but now he wanted to ensure that it worked. He would activate it a bit longer this time too.
Her eyes went hazy for a moment, her mind instinctively yielding to his question. "Of course," she whispered, her tone almost trance-like.
Jason smirked inwardly. In that fleeting second, his Emperor’s Gaze had worked. A command had been implanted, subtle but effective. He had carefully layered his words to guide her subconscious without her conscious awareness. From now on, whenever he looked at her, she might never be able to go against him.
Jason almost felt bad for Thomas Grayson. The man was an idiot. He was a loser too. He wondered what had happened between them After all, the last time, Emily had been held back from being herself, she was suppressed to even forcing herself to think of herself as shy.
There was no such thing as a shy person. There was only learned behaviour. As long as Jason eliminated it, and extinguished it from the root, he was sure to get a ton of results, and he was sure to win. Now was the best time to do this too, especially since the only person Emily could rely on was Jason. Jason had no problem with that. No problem at all.
"Good," Jason murmured, brushing a stray strand of hair from her face. "Then stay by my side, no matter what. Promise me." Jason looked her deep in the eyes as he said this, looking to once again activate that state he had anchored with the look in his eyes.
Emily’s lips quivered as she nodded, her voice a hushed pledge. "I’ll never leave you."
Satisfied, Jason kissed her forehead before rising from the bed. "Come with me," he said. "There’s something I want to show you. You’re not going to be live streaming anymore, right?" Jason said, testing it out.
"I... Are we going somewhere?" Emily asked Jason. Jason gazed at her and smirked. She had accepted it so easily. How incredible. Jason gave her a nod, and she immediately scuttled away like some scared cat. She was still wearing the costume though at that moment. Which was kinda fun to Jason.
Emily’s cheeks reddened as she ducked into the bathroom, mumbling about needing a quick shower. Jason leaned back, his sharp eyes scanning the room while the sound of running water filled the air. She was a good girl… He was not too greedy for wanting a good girl like her right? And as for the commands he was going to give her from then on... well that was all something he could work on later.
A few minutes later, she peeked out shyly, a towel wrapped around her petite frame.
"Are you… going to shower too?" she asked, her voice tinged with nervous excitement.
Jason stood, his movement deliberate. "Only if I can join you," he teased, his tone a perfect blend of playful and commanding.
Emily’s blush deepened as she scurried back into the bathroom, her laughter a soft melody echoing against the tiles. Moments like these were great, Jason thought, but his mind never truly rested. Jason chuckled as he stood up to join her in the shower.
He had thought he was going to go to the office today, but maybe it would be his day off. He would tell Samantha about it later. He was sure she would understand. After all, he owned the fucking company. And his people were working perfectly too. What would she say to him? Come to work or I’ll fire you? What a joke.
Anyway, Jason was not too nervous. Rather, he was looking forward to this off-day. Jason never took any days off. Even on that day, he was working, it was just in ways that were not for his bank account, but for his balance in a different account.
After having fun in the shower, giggling and laughing as they touched and kissed each other, they soon came out and got dressed thereafter leaving. On his way out, Jason noticed something as he passed by Thomas Grayson’s apartment. The plants were wilting... Whatever. He was probably a bit depressed. Anyway, that had nothing to do with him.
They got in his car and began driving through the city in Jason’s sleek black car, the hum of the engine a soothing background to their conversation. Emily’s eyes sparkled as she admired the luxury around her.
"Jason, how did you manage to get something like this?" she asked her tone a mixture of awe and curiosity.
Jason smirked, glancing at her. "I’m just that capable," he replied, his voice dripping with confidence. Turning to her, and looking her deep in the eyes again, he continued. "Remember that."
Emily’s admiration was palpable, her gaze fixed on him as though he were a figure carved from myth. Jason reached over, brushing his fingers against her cheek. The small gesture made her heart flutter, reinforcing the bond he’d meticulously cultivated.
Jason had put so many anchors in place for good and bad behaviour in his women by now, and he could activate them whenever he wished to keep them in the state he wanted them to be in. It was kind of messed up, but it was also kind of impressive. Jason did not do this to control them, he did this to make sure they were always at their best selves.
As they drove deeper into the city’s industrial outskirts, Emily’s excitement turned to confusion. "Where are we going?" she asked, her voice hesitant.
Jason’s lips curved into a cryptic smile. "To roast a pig."
Emily blinked, unsure if he was joking. But Jason’s expression remained inscrutable, leaving her both intrigued and uneasy. The tension in the air thickened as they pulled into a dimly lit warehouse. Emily looked around at this place. What the hell was going on? What was this?
Jason got out of the car, and Emily followed him out and they both headed over, making sure to look around for anyone… Okay… there was noone here. He couldnt help but look at his stats one more time.

Jason remembered that last time he had 3.2 Aura points. But now it was more. Very interesting...
He had used [Emperor’s Gaze] for a bit over a fraction of a second it seemed. Well, he had tried to make it real this time too. And he was taking care of himself. At all times and realising his destiny and reality at all times. And now his Aura had decreased.
So there was a consumption effect. Was he somewhat of a normal human now? Jason wondered if he felt different to the people around him... what was it about him that really changed? He wondered...
Updated from freewёbnoνel.com.
Oh well. Jason was not too concerned about this. What he wanted to see was to see that man in there go insane. And to do this, he was going to need this Skill. It was unfortunate, but he only had a fraction of a second to make it happen. Either that or he had to fill his Aura up on the way.
Jason let Emily hold onto him as they walked in there and looking around, Emily let out a groan. The inside of the warehouse was stark and cold, the faint scent of oil and metal lingering in the air.
This place was so dirty. It was so dingy. What was Jason doing here? All he had said was that he was here to roast a pig... But that was exactly the thing... What pig could ever be roasted in here? What would he do something like that here? But Emily soon saw the pig, and she found her eyes opening wide.
This was... a really big pig.
Tim Cross lounged on a battered leather chair in the centre of the room, his rotund frame sprawled out with an air of entitlement. His dishevelled appearance contrasted sharply with Jason’s polished demeanour.
"Well, well, if it isn’t the golden boy," Tim sneered, his voice oozing disdain. "You said you wanted to meet, so I came here. But now I see that you came with a peace offering… Not bad, Jason. As long as you let me have some time with her I’ll bring her back to you... mostly intact."
Jason didn’t even bother to say anything about that. He looked around, noticing the big bodyguards that came out of the sides. Well, it seemed this idiot came prepared, especially since he could tell that Jason was strong. It didn’t matter though. Jason was willing to destroy all of these men if he wanted to. And he was sure it would not take too much to make it happen either.
Jason’s smirk didn’t waver as he stepped forward, Emily trailing hesitantly behind him. "Just thought I’d visit you, cousin. After all, the family should stick together. Don’t you think so too?" Jason said as he stepped closer to the man, who looked at him in anger.
Tim snorted, his bloodshot eyes narrowing. "Family? Don’t make me laugh. You’ve always thought you were better than me. And last time I checked... you were kicked out of my family. You’re nothing now. A nobody. You dont deserve my attention and neither do you deserve my skills or my look at you."
Jason’s gaze hardened, his tone sharpening like a blade. "Better than you? That’s because I am. And we both know that. Why do you think you hate me? it’s because I remind you of exactly the things you lack." Tim couldn’t help but sneer as he heard those words, and Jason smirked.
Jason had already come to a stop as he said this, and with Emily holding on to his pocket, Jason was the picture of calm, while the other side was a picture of something else entirely. He was shaking like a shivering pig that did not know what to do with itself. It was way too funny to see it like that.
The words hung in the air, charged with unspoken history and animosity. Tim’s jaw tightened, his hand clenching around a half-empty glass of whiskey. Meanwhile, the guards who were everywhere had exposed themselves. There were five of them. All of them are big and burly. All of them looking at Jason like they wanted to destroy him, and at Emily like they wanted to fuck her!
Jason put his hands up in the air. "I’m not here to fight. I’m here to talk. I would never have called you out if I wanted to fight. You understand that right?"
Emily’s grip on Jason’s arm tightened, her unease evident. Jason placed a reassuring hand over hers, his touch calming her without a word. By matching her tension and then releasing it through his gesture, he subtly guided her emotions to align with his own. Everything was fine. He knew what he was doing. That was what he was telling her.
"What do you want, Jason?" Tim growled, his voice a mix of irritation and suspicion. He knew that this cousin of his was a man full of intelligence. After all, how else would he have dismantled his plans on that day.
Well, that was mostly Miles’ fault, that idiot. He said it was a foolproof plan that was sure to give him everything he ever wanted with Veronica. But there Veronica was, still in Jason’s hands. And it seemed Jason was following around with other women on the side too. Lucky bastard!!
Jason’s smirk returned, his eyes gleaming with calculated intent. "Just to talk, Tim. Let’s discuss what’s best for both of us."
Emily watched in awe, her admiration for Jason deepening with every passing moment. This scene was a bit messed up, and she did not understand what was happening, but she knew that a lot was going on...
Beneath the surface, a storm was brewing. And Jason and that piggy over there were right in the middle of it.
