Tim’s frustration finally boiled over. "You think you can waltz in here and take what you want?" he spat, slamming his glass onto the table. "You’re nothing but a leech, Jason. A parasite."

Jason’s expression darkened, his voice dropping to a menacing whisper. "Careful, Tim. Parasites can be deadly when provoked. And we both know who the true leeches are… who were the ones who stole away the fortune in my family."

The tension reached its breaking point as Tim lunged at Jason, possibly being spurred on by the big burly guys who were standing all around as his support. His bulky frame moved with surprising speed. Emily gasped, her hands flying to her mouth as chaos erupted. But Jason was ready.

With a swift, calculated move, he sidestepped Tim’s attack, his hand shooting out to grab his cousin by the collar. Jason’s eyes burned with a cold, unyielding fire as he leaned in close.

"You’ve had your fun, Tim," he hissed. "But now it’s my turn."

He released Tim with a shove, sending him stumbling back. Tim’s face twisted with rage and humiliation, but he didn’t move to attack again. Instead, he looked around at the bodyguards who were already coming forward to take Jason down.

"You fucked with me! Hah! Now with your fingerprints on my shirt, I have proof. I will use this roof as justification for beating you up! Fuck him up!!!" Jason smirked. So this guy could use his brain cells for something after all...

Jason was not even threatened by these people. They were just a little bit burly, and even if they could fight they were nothing special. Jason was just more interested in making sure that the woman he was with, Emily, was completely safe at all times. He was going to make sure of exactly that.

Thinking this far, Jason smirked and looked around. "Okay, boys. Let’s take it easy. One at a time."

Jason turned to Emily, his expression softening as he extended a hand to her. "It’s okay," he said, his voice steady and reassuring. "I’ll keep you safe."

Jason stood tall, his tailored suit a stark contrast against the grimy warehouse backdrop. The five burly bodyguards formed a semi-circle before him, their eyes narrowed in challenge. The air was thick with tension, and the warehouse echoed with the distant hum of the city outside.

With a flicker of a smile, Jason spoke, "I’d rather not do this, but I’ve got a job to finish."

The leader of the bodyguards, a hulking man with a shaved head, cracked his knuckles. "You ain’t going nowhere ’til you go through us."

Jason took a step forward, gazing behind him at Emily who stood there, watching all this happen with a worried look on her face. Those big guys looked dangerous. But she had to trust Jason right now. She had to have faith in him.

She watched as Jason walked forward, looking completely calm, completely safe, and she almost felt a bit good. Jason was going to be fine. And she was going to be fine too. She knew it for certain. And then it began!

The first guard lunged, a mountain of muscle and malice, but Jason was a blur of motion. He spun, his elbow catching the brute’s temple with a sickening crack. The man crumpled to the ground, out cold.

The second guard rushed in, a bull charging a matador. Jason stepped aside at the last moment, using the man’s momentum to send him stumbling into a stack of crates. The third and fourth guards approached more cautiously, fists raised.

Jason feigned a punch, and as the third guard raised his arms to block, he ducked and swept his leg, sending the fourth guard sprawling. Before the third could react, Jason grabbed a nearby pipe and swung it in a wide arc, knocking him out cold.

Emily watched with her palm over her mouth. Jason was so good at fighting. Was he always that strong? He was amazing... and at the same time, there was something about this situation that was just… so hot? There was something about how easily he was taking them all down. He was doing it without even batting an eyelid. It was way too amazing to her. But she knew for certain...

Jason was a real man. And he was a man who wanted to protect her.

The fifth guard, the largest of the bunch, took a step back, assessing his opponent. Jason beckoned him with a tilt of his head. The giant of a man roared and charged, a human freight train of rage. Jason waited, his gaze never leaving the guard’s eyes. And then he struck.

At the last second, he dropped into a low stance and rolled between the giant’s legs, popping up behind him and wrapping an arm around his thick neck. With a swift twist and a thud, the fifth guard dropped like a sack of bricks.

The remaining guard, now alone and wary, pulled out a baton. "You’re fast," he admitted, "but you can’t take us all."

Jason sighed, his voice calm. "I’m not here to take anyone’s life. I said it before. I just wanted to talk. I’ll leave after I’m done." He said, gesturing towards the exit.

The guard snarled, lunging with the baton. What an idiot. He just wanted to talk a bit! Geez, can someone, anyone, please let him talk!!

Jason dodged the lunge with the grace of a dancer, then twisted the baton from his hand with a twirl of his wrist, knocking him out with his hands. With a flick of his own, he sent it spinning into the face of the second guard, who was just starting to rise. The man crumpled again, unconscious.

It seemed it was true. He was just making them unconscious.

The leader stirred, groaning. Jason strode over and placed a gentle foot on his chest. "Stay down," he ordered, and the leader obeyed. Tim watched all this and his face got ever more unsightly. These bastards. He had paid them tens of thousands, and they had promised to take him down.

He was even looking to destroy Jason’s girl right in front of him. But now he knew that he was not going to do that. After all, there he was taking down everyone and then making sure to get it all going the way he wanted to.

Jason took a moment to survey his handiwork, five burly men laid out around him, not a single one permanently harmed with some having their eyes closed in fear rather than unconsciousness. He straightened his tie, brushed off a speck of dust from his lapel, and strode towards Tim, who was backing off, shaking in his boots. Emily watched him, her heart racing to all sorts of places in her body.

"Jason! Dont do anything you will regret. You know the family will never let you off!" Tim said, stepping backwards. He was not going to run. It was too embarrassing. And he knew that he was not going to get too far.

"The family will never let me off either way!" Jason said lazily, coming forward and grabbing the man, pushing his body onto the floor and pinning him there. Tim didn’t even dare resist. He had seen how Jason had taken down all those guards. It was way too terrifying. He didn’t want to ruin his face. He thought himself somewhat handsome, and his mom told him he was handsome too. He knew it. He was not going to let himself get his face ruined.

Jason held him there for a second watching him whimper and then he smirked. "Look at me."

As he said that, Tim did as he said and then somehow, Jason’s eyes glowed, as Jason continued speaking again. "You will OBEY ME!" After saying that, Jason let him go and when he did, Tim looked at the ceiling for a moment and then he looked at Jason, wondering what was happening.

Jason smirked, shaking his head. "Get the fuck up, fatty," Jason said, and Tim immediately got up, even without understanding or knowing why it was happening. Jason then turned to the man. "I want you to do something for me. I want you to go crazy. You will do that, right?"

"What?" The man said with an interesting way to see things.

"That’s right. You will go crazy for me. And not only will you go crazy, but you will also be the person who goes crazy in the worst way possible. From now on, everything you thought was true, is not true. You can do whatever you want to do, say whatever you want to say and think whatever you want to think. Do you understand?"

"I want to say I don’t… but you scare me, Jason," Tim said and that one action brought a smile to Jason. Great. He was expressing himself. Wonderful.

"I want you to seek humiliation everywhere you go. From now on, you will humiliate yourself and the name of the Cross Family, everywhere you go. I want you to do it all the time. Even shitting yourself in public. You will do it for me, right?"

Tim nodded, and then he stood there, dazed. Jason then chuckled, looking at the guards. They were "unconscious" at that moment. Emily had been watching the whole time though. But something told Jason that he could trust her. She was going to keep this a secret. And she was going to make sure to keep it hush-hush. And in that time, it was not going to be a problem for him to see her become something he wanted her to.

"Let’s go, Emily," After saying that, the two left, and when he did, he couldn’t help but think about how incredible that was. He had said only one command. And with that one command, Tim had broken down, shitting his pants.

He had therefore actively began Tim’s descent into ruin. For now, he didn’t have to think too much. Tim would destroy himself from now on. And he might even begin sullying the Cross Family name. Well, that was until he was brought in and reined in.

Emily hesitated, her eyes darting between Jason and Tim who lay there dazed. But the strength in Jason’s gaze gave her the courage to take his hand. Together, they walked out of the warehouse, leaving Tim seething in their wake.

As they stepped into the morning, Emily couldn’t shake the feeling that this was only the beginning. Jason’s world was one of power and manipulation, and she was now irrevocably entwined in it.

In the car, Jason’s demeanour shifted, his usual smirk replaced by a rare moment of vulnerability. He reached over, brushing a hand against Emily’s cheek. "I meant what I said earlier," he murmured. "I’ll do whatever it takes to protect what we have. That’s why I need you to keep everything I do a secret. I have shown you a part of my world. And I will continue to show you, as long as you want to see it."

Emily’s heart swelled with emotion, her love for Jason overshadowing the lingering unease. She leaned into his touch, her voice barely above a whisper. "I believe you. And I believe in you. Those men tried to hurt you. Can you tell me why?"

Jason smiled and nodded, but his thoughts were already racing ahead. Tim was a loose thread in his plans, and loose threads needed to be cut. It was only going to be a matter of time before the man messed himself up. Jason would just have to look forward to the moment that happened. Until then he would just have to wait.

Jason began telling Emily his story and the story with Tim, slowly introducing the other women in his life to Emily, whose eyes went wide when she heard about Tim’s true behaviour and character.

In his mind, he was not so casual about things. The game was far from over, and Jason intended to emerge victorious.

The Cross family? Let them come.

He was ready and waiting for them. Let’s have a bit of fun. Whether it was with his cousins, or with his uncles and aunt, he was ready for it all. He had no care in the world for anything at all!
