Chapter 1428 The Wine Pouring Ceremony

It did not take long after they all settled into their various chairs surrounding a table, with Vraegar adjusting his bones to a more humanoid proportion to sit comfortably before the dragon asked Andar the burning question in his heart after the revelation by the mage,

"So, how did you do it, how did you acquire so many dimensions inside your Tower?"

Rowan also turned towards Andar, " Yes, how did that idea ever occur to you to push for more dimension inside your tower? I am also curious where you could see so many fifth-dimensional spaces that you could swallow."

Before Andar could answer the questions, a beautiful woman with bright blue hair and a black cat sitting on her shoulder arrived, she pushed her way through the invisible dome of silence and obfuscation that had covered this table, made by Eva without any outward indicator and she bowed towards Rowan, then towards the rest, her eyes shining with excitement at the return of all of them safe and sound.

Circe understood that Rowan had ventured towards a dangerous ordeal, one that there was no assurance that he would return alive, and seeing him here, stronger than ever and even thriving, was enough to push away the gloom that had encircled her heart for a million years.

"Rowan, your presence gladdens my soul. Lady of Shadows. Blessed children of the Creator. Welcome to the..."

Vracgar snorted, "Yadda, yadda, yadda, come sit with us, and don't bring all those honorifics to the table. You are among family here, and we are getting tired of you not being able to let down your guard. Call me big brother, and I promise to take care of you; no one in the outside world would ever think of bullying you..."

Staff stood up and brought Circe over to their table while pointedly stepping on Vraegar's tail, causing the dragon to huff in irritation. Circe smiled, and as she sat, she waved her hands, and a large wooden chalice appeared at the center of the table, and seven wooden cups.

Polished until the chalice almost appeared to be made from gold, there were extremely tiny arcane scripts all over it made from an unknown language that no one else but Rowan could understand. This simple chalice was a handcrafted work that would most likely have taken tens of thousands of years to make. Rowan could appreciate such dedication to a craft, knowing how hard this arcane scripting would have been to carve out for an immortal of Circe's power.

The chalice was filled with a rich red wine that almost seemed alive because it was slowly swirling itself inside the chalice; it was as if a tornado was at its center. There was a thin film of energy over the rim of the chalice to prevent the Aura of this wine from leaking into the air, alerting everyone for thousands of light years and preserving the flavor and efficacy of the wine, Rowan's eyes shone with appreciation when he saw this wine, recognizing that this had neared the peak of the craft, and the duo of Circe and Archimedes had created a brew fit for higher dimensional immortals.

Also inscribed on the wooden chalice was the true history of Trion before it was taken over by the Reflections of the Eye of Time. Circe used wood because it signified the domain of Elura, the Empyrean of Life, and inscribed on it were the names of his brothers and sisters, Truiplop, Hekaton, Metagei, Pyanop, Yuleti, Maimak, Anthesterion, and finally, his own, Romion.

Rowan went still when he saw the names inscribed in the chalice, he had never spoken of these names to anyone, and he knew that the only reason Circe knew them was that she was integral to his resurrection and his transformation to a living dimension, and she had gained an incredible amount of benefit from that process, and although she appeared to be the weakest immortal here, not even stepping into the higher dimensional realm when Archimedes was now a fourth dimensional immortal, the truth was that Circe was holding herself back from ascending, because of the weight of Memory that Rowan had given her to keep safe.

There would be a time when he would be calling on her to return this weight to him, but for now, she was the keeper of his Memories, the Warden of the Vaults of Trion.

He smiled at her and he nodded, giving her permission to begin the wine-pouring ceremony. She deserved this moment, for she was among the few who labored in silence for his vision to bear fruit.

Gaining the acknowledgement of Rowan, Circe stood up and began making various arcane gestures with her hands and the energy shielding the top of the chalice spread to all the cups. In this manner when she poured the wine into the cups, no single strand of essence would leak out of it.

Her gestures were sublime, as she flowed from one pose to another in a move that made Vracgar to be speechless in adoration, and Eva looked upon her with appreciation. Circe began to speak,

"As your host, it would be my honor to present the crowning achievement of our craft. This wine is called Emithe; it is something that the owner of Booze Palace wanted to create but could never find the materials for it in the lower realms. He made a name for this wine, calling it Emithe, and I hope that today I was able to give his vision justice."

She paused for a while and Staff by the side squeezed her hand, and after taking a deep breath, Circe continued speaking,

"I harvested the grapes from a Celestial orchard that we came across by chance, from what I could tell, this came directly from a Primordial Realm, for it is only in a place like that can such vast amounts of Essence be imbued into an orchard like this. There were only a few grapes left in the orchard, and from what Archimedes could determine, they had existed for many Minor Eras, lost in the vastness of the void. I crushed them all by hand, making sure every drop of Essence within was preserved to its fullest efficacy, that process took me centuries."

She took the first cup and from the chalice she poured wine into it, setting it in front of Rowan she continued,

"To ferment this wine, I placed them in a fire-ice array, alongside a special blend of yeast that Telmus created, that for the life of me, I cannot replicate and I'm running short... under this array, this wine has gained a rich potency that is unbelievable, I had to reinforce the array a total of forty-seven thousand times over the course of hundreds of thousands of years, as more of the richness of the wine was pulled out with this process,"

As she was speaking she poured the rich red wine into more of the cups,

"After six hundred thousand years of fermentation, I began the separation process, which I did by hand to preserve the essence within. Archimedes crafted a perfect spell for this process which I utilized, and I removed every single impurity in this brew. It took me centuries, but the results were worth it."

All the cups were filled at this time, but there was still a healthy amount of wine left in the chalice, it had barely dropped more than a single percent.

"The history behind this chalice is deep and it is not for me to reveal, that honor is left for the Creator, however, I can tell you that it was made from gathering all the Shards of Elura scattered all over our universe, and it is filled with an incredible source of life force the likes I have only felt from Rowan, and it is the perfect Aging process for this wine. Every time we gather in the future, I shall unseal the wine, and we shall taste the passing of the ages through it."

With her wine-pouring ceremony completed, Circe went around the table, presenting a cup to each one here, and before she sat down, she gave Archimedes his own cup, who was lounging on her shoulders, drool nearly dripping from her mouth as she had waited to taste this wine for nearly a million years.

Rowan raised his cup to the air, he looked at the cup in appreciation for a while, and

he said,

"I call for a toast..."
