The Royal Mark-Chapter 420: Epilogue - The Royal Mark
"Mommy! Daddy! How was your trip?" Rocco greeted as Elsa and Chris entered their house in the city after arriving from their week-long honeymoon.
"It was good, but it could have been better if you were there with us," Elsa replied, hugging Rocco and then the twins.
"It’s okay, we had fun here with Grandpa, Auntie Marina, and Uncle Elandir," Rosey said.
"Did you behave here and in school?"
"Yes, Mommy, we did, the twins and I got stars as well," Rocco said.
Elsa turned to Ambros and hugged him, "Thank you, Dad. I will miss you so much."
"I will miss you too. It’s time. I’ve kept your mother waiting for so long already, and I don’t want to spend another minute away from her."
Elsa nodded. "I understand." She then looked at Elandir who was sitting in the living room with Marina.
"Elandir, we are ready," Elsa said.
"Take care, Father. Thank you for helping us and thank you for trusting me with your daughter’s life. If you didn’t, I wouldn’t be by her side," Chris told Ambros.
"It is me who should thank you, Chris, my daughter wouldn’t be alive if not because of you. I am forever grateful to you."
Marina and Elandir also said their goodbyes but Ambros had one last thing to say to everyone. "I want you to train the kids. Once their abilities awaken, train them hard. Make them as powerful as your old selves. Do not be complacent just because you are in Novus.
There are still dangers here and I will return when the time comes that I need to. So, while I am gone, do your best to protect the children. Always be on the lookout and don’t trust anyone."
"We will, Father. I will make sure that no harm will come their way," Chris promised.
"Same for me and Marina. We will always be by their side no matter what," Elandir said.
"Good. I will leave with peace and confidence then."
Ambros bent down and opened his arms wide. "Can you three give me a huge hug and a goodbye kiss?"
Rocco, Rosey, and Daisy did just that before picking up a big paper bag and giving it to him.
"Grandpa, we made a card for you, for Grandma and everyone, can you please give it to them?" Daisy asked.
"Of course, I can. I will miss you three the most. But this is not goodbye, we will see each other every full moon."
"Promise?" Rocco questioned.
"Promise!"
With one last hug to the kids and Elsa, Ambros threw the portal stone that Elandir gave him. A yellow mist emerges from the stone forming a life-size oval shape. He waved to everyone before entering the portal.
Soon the mist dissipated and he was gone.
Elsa stared at the spot where her father was with teary eyes, "Dad... Mom..."
Chris embraced her from behind and muttered, "Don’t be sad, you will see him again."
"Nah, I am not sad. In fact, I am happy. My tears are because I am glad that they will have their happy ending, not just us. Finally, they don’t have to sacrifice their own happiness. And maybe they could married as well... Hmm... Can angels get married?"
"Well, you did, so your dad can as well," Chris answered.
"But I am half-human, so that’s different. But anyway, that’s not important. What’s important is that they are now together."
"So what now? Are we going to celebrate or what should we do?" Chris questioned Elsa.
She turned around and whispered to Chris, "I think our kids are already big enough. Do you think it’s time for them to have a baby brother or sister?"
Chris’ eyes widened and soon smiled, "When do you plan to give them one?"
"Uhm... How about now? I think a one-week honeymoon is not enough, don’t you think?" Elsa winked.
Chris’ smile got bigger as he thought of an idea. "Kids, do you want to play video games in the game room until midnight?"
Rocco and the twins got excited for a bit but then realized that they couldn’t do that.
"Daddy, it’s Sunday, we are not allowed to play video games on Sunday night and weekdays remember? We can’t stay up until midnight as well, because we have school tomorrow," Rocco reminded him.
"I am allowing you to play tonight as a reward for being good while we were gone. Wena, Roxanne, please go with the kids. Elsa and I will sleep early, we are tired from our flight."
The kids rejoiced and quickly ran to the game room without further ado.
"Tired? You don’t look tired at all," Elandir mentioned.
Before he could say further, Chriis picked up Elandir’s bag and handed it to him, "Go... You and Marina should go."
"But why?" Marina asked in confusion at how Chris was acting.
Elsa chuckled as she watched her husband eagerly dragging Elandir out of their house. "So we could make baby number four..." she whispered to Marina
"Oh! Elandir let’s go! We have a wedding to plan and now is the best time to do it!" Marina then switched with Chris in dragging Elandir out.
Chris swiftly ran to where Elsa was and scooped her from the floor. "Let’s do this!"
Elsa wrapped her arms around Chris’ neck, laughing as her husband carried her to their bedroom.
Chris playfully threw her on the bed and briskly removed his clothes. "Let’s see how long you could last."
"Ha! I dare you make me pass out–"
"~Kya!!!"
Elsa screamed and laughed when Chris suddenly jumped onto the bed and wrapped her in his arms, before kissing her with passion and love.

***Author’s Note:***
Dear Readers,
Thank you for reading Elsa and Chris’ story until the end. I hope you enjoyed their journey.
Stay tuned for Rocco’s story, that’s why I purposely left some unanswered questions because it will revealed when he is all grown up in my next book.
But before that, I will publish the book that I was supposed to release early this year before I got sick. It will be my entry for the Webnovel Spirity Awards 2025 and I hope that you will support me again on my third book. I will not publish any book this year anymore so I can rest and improve my health first.
Once again, thank you so much! I wouldn’t made it this far if not because of you. Your Power Stones, Golden Tickets, gifts, comments, and reviews are the ones that kept me motivated when I was having a hard time dealing with the deaths in my family and my worsening health. I am forever grateful to all of you!
FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART... THANK YOU!!! MWAH!!! SEE YOU IN MY THIRD BOOK!
