Chapter 432: Approaching Danger

Rosha city was organized completely different from Hillstown and Lockwood cities. All the buildings in the city had already been destroyed, although not all of them had been demolished to the ground, but even then, they were definitely not in a good condition.

In short, the entire city was completely devastated as if it had been abandoned for several years by humans. But that was just for the outskirts of the city.

Closer to the center of the city, there was a magnificent building that stood tall and proud within the city. It was the center of attention for all the zombies and the monsters present within the city.

Although the majority of the zombies were continuously loitering around the city, all of them avoided approaching the core of the city. At the same time, those zombies that possessed some intelligence looked towards the direction of the building with reverence in their eyes.

Even the monsters who were acting quite nonchalant, would oftenly steal glances towards that building. It was clear that they understood that that building that was standing magnificently at the center of the city was definitely an area where they could not reach.

Generally saying, within this entire city, there was actually no any other building that possessed traces of a person residing in them.

...

At this moment, in the magnificent building that was located at the end of the city, two figures were communicating with each other. One of them was the zombie that was in charge of this territory here, while the other was the monster, which was a giant black wolf.

The size of the giant black wolf was so massive that it occupied quite a large area. The two of them were currently out of the territory, instead of inside.

Additionally, there was a solemn expression on each of their faces, clearly the matter that they were discussing right now was definitely of great importance.

"Are you sure about it? You know that this is definitely not a joke." The zombie questioned as he looked at the wolf with squinted eyes.

"Do you think that we have time to joke around in a situation like this? This the reason why I don’t really like to collaborate with humans." The wolf stated in a gentle but irritated voice.

"Who the heck are you calling human? Do you think that I am of an inferior race like those humans? It might be true that we do take the form, the same form as the one that the humans possess, but even then, our bloodline is definitely stronger than that of humans." The zombie was definitely dissatisfied by the fact that the wolf was addressing him as a human.

"It really doesn’t matter. In any case, the appearance that you have, together with several features and actions, they actually represent those of humans. You might be different, but even then, there are many several similarities between you." The wolf snorted as it responded.

The zombie was just about to say something, when it suddenly decided to stop. In any case, it was not as if he was going to collaborate with this wolf for long. As long as he finally managed to get what he wanted, he would definitely make sure that he got rid of this monster.

The zombie was not the only one thinking of that, but instead, the wolf was also thinking the same. But even then, none of them showed their killing intent, considering that they were supposed to be cooperating right now.

"Forget about all that nonsense. In any case, I have to inform you that I have been feeling restless as of recent. It seems that there is something that is approaching, and whatever it is that is approaching, it is extremely dangerous." The wolf stated.

The zombie did not take lightly what the wolf had said. Although it was true that he wanted to refute that the monster was wrong, there was no way that he could completely ignore the instinct of a monster.

It was true that the zombies were extremely strong as long as they managed to tap into the potential that they possessed, but even then, there was one thing that they could not go beyond that of monsters, and that was the instinct.

The ability to detect approaching danger was an ability that this wolf possessed. What the zombie that had been transformed into a human did not know was the fact that, during the time that the two factions existed back in Hillstown city, it was also due to the difference in views.

While the other monster only wanted to conquer, trying to be supreme, this black wolf was completely different. The moment that it detected that there was danger that was coming, it immediately decided to take action, advising the other monster that they were supposed to leave that place.

But in the end, they could not come to an agreement, and they had to go their own ways. And the arrogant monster that remained behind had actually been eliminated by Henry and his group.

And right now, once again, the wolf could feel that there was danger that was approaching, and it was better for them to take action as soon as possible. But even then, the wolf could not help but wonder just what kind of danger it was that was approaching, to be able to threaten a level 5 diamond rank monster, together with a zombie that was already at the diamond rank as well.

"When is that?" The zombie asked as he looked at the wolf. It was better for him to start making preparations, and it would be good if the danger that was approaching was actually that far.

Of course it was impossible for him to be abandoning this city considering that there were actually millions of zombies present within the city. The zombie believed that the reason why the wolf was feeling the feeling danger that was approaching was simply because they had not made any preparations in advance.

"Do you think that I can tell exactly when the danger is coming? If that was actually the case, I would have been overpowered. I would definitely be capable of avoiding dangers, while taking the opportunities." The wolf snorted as it responded.

"Useless!" The zombie on the other hand did not care about what the wolf had said. Instead, he only paid attention on the fact that the wolf had stated that it was not capable of detecting when the danger was going to arrive.

"Are you asking for a fight?" The wolf asked as it narrowed its eyes, looking at the zombie dangerously. At the same time, killing intent suddenly began coming out of the body of the wolf, indicating that if the zombie said something wrong, the wolf was definitely going to make its move.

The moment that the zombie felt the killing intent that was coming from the monster, he could not help but be alert. The two of them were at the same level, and if he was caught off guard, he was definitely going to be injured fatally, and could even be killed.

Just as the two of them were at a standoff, the wolf suddenly frowned. Then, it looked towards a certain direction, towards the outskirts of the city.

"The danger is already here. It seems that we cannot get out of here, but instead, we will have to deal with it head-on. Otherwise, we can only wait to die." The wolf stated, completely ignoring the zombie that was fully alert.

The moment that the zombie heard the wolf’s words, he could not help but be stunned. He looked at the wolf with a sneer on his face as he asked, "Don’t tell me that you were actually planning to run away. Are you really a monster? According to what I know about monsters, they are completely fearless, and most of the time, they follow their own instincts."

"I guess you don’t really know much about monsters. Additionally, my instinct is telling me that danger is approaching. If you are going to approach danger, then that implies that you are an idiot. Unless there is something that I’m going to benefit from approaching the danger, there is no way that I’m going to do it, no matter what name I am given." The wolf responded nonchalantly.

But even then, the muscles the wolf had already tensed up, indicating that the wolf had already entered into the battle-ready mode.

The zombie did not say anything, but instead, he closed his eyes. The next moment, there was a red aura that began radiating from his body, and if Alicia was here, she would have definitely been capable of realizing that this was the same red aura that was coming out of Jason’s body.

In just a matter of a few moments, all the zombies within the city had suddenly become extremely alert. At the same time, they both looked towards the same direction, and that was the eastern part of the city.

Then in the next moment, all of them began moving towards the eastern direction. There was actually not even a single zombie that remained behind, considering that all of them moved to the east, leaving behind the monsters that were quite confused by the movements of the zombies.

The wolf on the other hand did not inform the monsters to move in that direction either. Just as the wolf had stated before, it was definitely not going to approach the danger, when it could avoid it.

"Don’t tell me that you want to run away during the time that I will be dealing with the ’danger’?" The zombie asked contemptuously.

"I’m not planning to run away from this place. For the danger that is approaching, I think it is better if we deal with it together, instead of dealing with it separately." The wolf responded solemnly.
