The Soul System in the Apocalypse-Chapter 436: Control, Change

[The amount of energy that is required for the conversion of millions of zombies is definitely high. With his current power level, it is definitely impossible for him to handle such amount of energy that is required, and he can only do the conversion in bits.]

[Currently, he has already gone into an unconscious state, where his brain is trying to protect the body from being destroyed by the overdrawing of the energy. As long as he wakes up, the ability that he has activated will continue.]

Henry finally understood what was going on. It seemed that they had thought too much. Although it was true that it was going to be easy for them to be able to deal with the millions of zombies when it came to the conversion, but still, the amount of energy that was required by Alex was extremely high.

Henry could remember that time when he had first utilized the duplication skill together with the fusion skill. He was fighting against a clone of a supreme member of the dark race, and in the end, he ended up unconscious because of the pressure that was put on his consciousness.

And now, it seemed that Alex was experiencing the same thing. So, Henry could not help but wonder how to wake him up. For himself, he had woken up the moment that he recovered, so, would it be that they would have to wait until Alex recovered first?

[Not necessarily. As long as he gets enough energy, he should be able to wake up. Currently, the ability has been paused temporarily, allowing him to begin recovering his energy.]

Henry immediately purchased several recovery potions from the system. Of course, all of them could be utilized by those that had already reached the diamond rank.

All that he had to do was to wait until this guy recovered before giving him the potions. But of course, that was if Henry had the time to wait. So, he just took out a syringe, before going ahead to inject the recovery potion into the body of Alex.

The moment that the high quality recovery potion was injected into Alex’s body, the energy that had already been consumed suddenly began recovering at an incredible speed. In just a matter of a few seconds, the energy reserves that he possessed had been recovered by half.

The moment that his energy reserves were recovered, Alex opened his eyes. The complexion of his skin had returned to normal, but even then, there was fear clear in Alex’s eyes.

He had not expected that something like this was going to happen. Although it was true that he possessed information about the skills that he possessed, there was no information about a situation like where the zombies would be linked what would happen. So, this is going to be the first experience and the firsthand source of information.

"Take these recovery potions. Make sure that you take them one after the other, to ensure that your energy reserves are not depleted. Otherwise, you will definitely fall unconscious once again." Henry stated as he handed over several bottles of high level recovery potions. Each and every one of them had been purchased using one level one diamond rank mutation crystal.

Alex immediately took the recovery potions, before he began drinking them immediately. The reason behind that was simply because he felt that the energy that was in his body had suddenly began being consumed.

Truly, the moment that Alex woke up, the process that had just paused suddenly resumed. With that, it was obvious that the energy that Alex possessed was being consumed.

Although it was true that the consumption of energy for the conversion of the zombies was quite high, but utilizing the high level potions, Alex was barely capable of keeping up with the energy consumption.

It was a good thing that he drank the potions before the energy reserves in his body depleted. Otherwise, he would definitely not be given a chance of recovering before he passed out again.

Henry stood on the side and watched as the process continued. The zombies who had fallen on the ground continued spasming for a while before they finally stopped. At the same time, transformation began, with the rotten skin that they possessed suddenly transforming, becoming that of humans.

But since zombies do not take showers, it was clear that they were dirty after not taking a bath for over 8 months. So, the moment that they began standing up, they looked quite confused, although they possess the memories that they previously had during the time that they were zombies.

There was silence that dominated the area for a while as all the zombies looked around, before focusing on the group of humans in front of them, then on the zombie that was lying lifelessly on the ground.

Then slowly but surely, they began reacting. Those who vomited went ahead and did so, while others began running around madly. Of course, that was something that happened to those that possessed poor mentality, and could not handle the fact that they had been eating human flesh for over 7 months.

Henry observed the situation, before he suddenly released his aura. He was not the only one considering that everybody around him began releasing their aura, making sure that they controlled the crowd. This was a crowd of millions, and they had to take action as soon as possible.

It was a good thing that among these millions of people who have been converted from being zombies, there was a group that was capable of handling what they had gone through. So, they also began dealing with those who were rampantly attacking others within the crowd.

To say the least, the situation was quite chaotic. But even then, there was nothing that Henry could do in order to prevent something like this from happening. They had not expected that the zombies were going to come together at the same time, instead of 200,000 of them.

Had it been that they were dealing with the zombies in batches, it would definitely not be difficult for them to be able to control the situation. But right now, although they themselves were extremely strong, it was definitely impossible for them to be able to control everybody here.

But even then, Henry and the others immediately began attacking and killing those that had began attacking others madly. Although they had already investigated, and realized that it was impossible for those that had been zombies to become zombies once again after the conversion, Henry and the others still went ahead and killed those that lost their minds.

In this situation, it was just a method the they were utilizing in order to intimidate and control the crowd. And the moment that they began attacking, the power that they possessed immediately stupefied the crowd.

Since they possessed the memories of the time that they were zombies, they immediately remembered that the leader of the zombies had actually been easily defeated by a young lady in the group. That implied that this entire group was extremely strong, especially by feeling the aura that they possessed.

After about 30 minutes, the crowd was finally controlled, though temporarily. Henry looked at the crowd, feeling that they would have to come up with another strategy of controlling this group of people that were being converted from zombies. Otherwise, it was definitely going to be quite hectic for him.

"All of you listen up. You have been given another chance of living, and not by being zombies, but instead, as humans. You were originally humans before you were converted into zombies." Henry suddenly spoke up.

The moment that he began speaking, everybody paid attention to what he was saying. They had already realized that he was the leader of this entire group, so they had listened to what he said. Additionally, they had just seen how cruel this group of people could be. So, it was better for them not to misbehave at the moment. Otherwise, they might end up losing their own lives instantly.

"I know you have gone through a lot, especially remembering the memories that you possessed during the time that you were zombies. I know that it can be overwhelming, but you will have to hold on. We humans are going to fight against members of many other races within this world. It is a battle for domination. And for the humans to be able to win, we require you, we need your assistance." Henry continued.

"So, since you have been given a second chance, you better not waste it by trying to commit suicide or so on. Otherwise, if you try to do something that is going to affect the future of the human race, believe me, I’m going to make sure that you pay for it." Henry stated domineeringly.

Everybody could feel a chill running down their spines, the moment that they heard what Henry had said. But even then, they thought of the scene previously, where Henry and the others slaughtered those that caused trouble. They immediately believed that Henry would definitely do what he had said.

"For now, we are going to rebuild this entire city, making it another stronghold for the human race. The human race is going to fight against many other races, so, it is better if we get ready as soon as possible. So, you better be prepared to work hard, to make sure that you gain a stable footing within this world. And don’t even think about running away." Henry continued, regardless of the gazes that he was receiving.

Olivia looked at Henry strangely. This was actually the first time that she had seen Henry making a speech to a large crowd. Until now, he had only been saying a few words, but now, he had actually said a lot of words. She never knew that Henry was capable of this. It seemed that people changed a lot, especially since this was the apocalypse.
