Chapter 437: Abel and Elena

In just a matter of about 20 minutes or so, everything was fully handled by Henry and the others. Although it was true that among the millions of humans there were those that still inhibited the ideas of taking control over the city, it was impossible for them to take action right now.

But even if they decided to take action later on, it was definitely impossible for them to be able to succeed. After all, with the power that Henry and his group possessed, how could they actually get a chance of doing anything?

With everything finally under control, Henry and the others immediately decided to go to the other side, in order to assist the others with the matter of taking care of the monsters. But of course, they had not expected what they were going to see the time that they arrived there.

...

Some time back...

The moment that the group was divided into two, Storm was summoned over by Henry using the link that the two of them possessed since Storm was Henry’s summoned creature.

With that, Storm went ahead and joined Sarah and the others, while Lenta joined Henry’s group.

The leader of the group that went to the Western part of the city was Adam. His strength was already at level 5 of the diamond rank, and although he was a level lower than Storm, since he was the closest to Henry among the humans, he was the one who had taken charge.

As for Storm, it was not as if he had to listen to what Adam said. But even then, it was not as if Storm was going to compete against Adam on who was going to take control of the group. Additionally, it was good enough that the relationship that existed between Sarah, Angela, and Adam was quite good, as compared to Storm who rarely interacted with them.

The moment that the group began approaching the city from the western side, they suddenly realized that all the zombies were suddenly moving to the east. They were quite surprised, wondering what it was that Henry and the others had done, in order to make sure that all the zombies moved in that direction.

But even then, they thought that this was also good. After all, the reason why they came from this side was simply to deal with the monsters. As for the zombies, they believe that Henry and the others would definitely be capable of taking care of them, no matter how many of them were there.

But the moment that they arrived at the periphery of the city, they also realized that monsters had suddenly come over. Additionally, it seemed that all the monsters present within the city had actually come out, intending to fight out with them, considering that they were glaring at them with killing intent.

The group could not help but be a little dumbfounded once again. Could it be that this was not Henry’s plan, but instead, those that existed within this city, the monsters and the zombies, had already been expecting them? And right now, they were actually doing division of labor?

In any case, Adam looked at the group of monsters in front of him, and could not help but feel a little disappointed. He could not find any monster that had reached the diamond rank as of yet. So, it was definitely completely useless for him to kill those gold rank monsters, as they were not going to enable him to level up.

It might be true that humans were capable of leveling up quite fast during the third stage of the apocalypse but even then, they still required to kill high level monsters, and not just any monster.

Feeling a little helpless, Adam looked at the troop of 200,000 people behind him. Then with a loud voice, he shouted, "All of you get ready to exterminate all the monsters here! This is a chance for you to prove yourselves, while at the same time, you can use this chance in order to improve your levels!"

"Yes sir!" The crowd immediately responded cheeringly. They understood all too well that this was definitely a good chance for them to be able to prove themselves to Henry and the others. As long as they managed to catch the attention of this group of people, that implied that they would be capable of joining that particular group that consisted of only elites.

It was true that they could be considered as elites in the territory, but even then, that was just among the ordinary. None of them wanted to be ordinary, and that was the reason why they were part of the elite of the ordinary.

Additionally, they understood that the higher the number of monsters they killed, the higher the merits that they would possess. So, all of them felt pumped up, looking at the group of monsters in front of them with excitement in their eyes.

This was definitely not something that the monsters had been expecting. The number of monsters that were present within this city, although they could not compare to the number of zombies, but still, they had actually reached about 900,000. As for the group of humans, it was just about 200,000.

Was the difference not that big enough? Additionally, the monsters definitely possessed an advantage over the humans of the same level. So, why was it that these humans were not afraid at all? Additionally, it seemed that they were actually impatient, and wanted to slaughter them?

Storm on the other hand was silent, observing the crowd of monsters in front of him. Until now, he had not made any move, and neither had he said any word. But still, he was looking towards the furthest end of the crowd of monsters, towards the center of the city.

It was as if he was looking for someone or something. But even then, he did not move from the crowd, but instead, just remained there, waiting.

Adam looked at the crowd of monsters in front of him, before he raised his hand, intending to command the troop to attack. But even before he could do that, Storm suddenly stopped him.

"Wait a little bit. There is something that I want to make sure of first." Storm stated as he looked at Adam.

Although Adam was a little confused about the reason why Storm had decided to interrupt the mission that they had been given, he still decided to allow him to do what he was intending to do. It was not as if he was going to betray them anyway.

Storm on the other hand suddenly stepped forward. The moment that he did so, the aura that he possessed immediately erupted, and it was completely different from the normal one.

The aura that Storm possessed was quite ancient, and the moment that this aura was released, all the monsters in front suddenly began trembling. Then in the next moment, they looked at Storm with fear clear in their eyes, mixed with reverence.

Adam and the others were once again dumbfounded. What was going on? Why was it that everything was going differently than they had expected? Could it be that this was the reason why Storm had been brought over by Henry?

Just as they were wondering what was going on, Storm continued moving forward, before arriving just about 10 m away from the group of monsters at the forefront. Then, ignoring those monsters that were looking at him with reverence, he looked towards the center of the monsters, and shouted, "You should come out Elena!"

Adam and the others were immediately confused. Who the heck was Elena? They had been together with Storm all along, but they had never heard of anybody called Elena. Additionally, how was it that Storm knew about that person, and they themselves did not know about them?

Just as they were wondering who Elena was, the crowd of monsters suddenly began parting, making a path in between them.

In front of their eyes, a group of wolves suddenly began moving forward, approaching them. Each and every wolf possessed black fur, and they possessed gigantic bodies, and they looked aggressive as well.

But of course, the center of attention of everybody was definitely not those eight wolves at all. But instead, it was on that black wolf that was at the very center of the group, possessing a massive body, only small to that of Storm.

It was true that the body of the wolf was not the largest among all the monsters here, but as compared to the wolves, it was definitely quite massive.

The wolf possessed black fur, with golden eyes. Those eyes were looking at Storm with confusion, and at the same time, excitement and hope.

Although Adam and the others could not understand what was going on here, they felt that there was definitely a relationship that existed between this black wolf, and Storm.

"Abel? Is that really you?" The black wolf spoke in a feminine voice that was filled with both hope, together with disbelief.

"That’s me Elena. It is just that I am no longer called Abel, but instead, my name is Storm." Storm responded as he felt excited.

The black wolf, Elena, was surprised after hearing that. Then, she looked at the group of humans behind Storm, before looking back at Storm questioningly.

"It is a really long story. Don’t you think that we should not fight first, and talk about this matter first?" Storm asked as he looked at both the wolf, Elena, and Adam.

Elena and Adam both looked at each other, not understanding what was going on. But even then, they both decided not to fight first, so that they could understand what was going on, and what was the relationship that existed between Storm and the other party.
