Chapter 438: Storm’s Background

Storm went ahead and communicated with Elena. Elena was the black wolf. Adam decided not to get himself involved in the matter for now, considering that it seemed that the two of them possessed a history.

It would be a lie to say that he was not curious about the history that was behind Storm. But even then, there was nothing that he could do for now, and he could only stand on the side for now, as the two of them communicated. But of course, that did not imply that he had stopped keeping an eye on the wolf, together with the monsters that it had brought over.

The over enthusiastic crowd on the other hand also continued paying their attention to the monsters, while praying that they would be allowed to fight. After all, this was actually merits in front of them.

Storm and Elena moved a distance away, before they began communicating with each other. Elena looked at Storm with a curious gaze, expecting him to tell her what was going on.

"Just as I said it before, it is quite a long story. But even then, I’m going to give you the summary of everything that happened. At that time, after I was surrounded by that group of experts, I had nowhere to go, because they cornered me on a cliff. If I would have taken a step backwards, I would have fallen to my death. But if I continued standing there, or tried to break through the group of experts, it would have definitely been impossible for me to survive." Storm started.

Elena did not interrupt Storm at all, and just continued to listen. It seemed that she already knew about what it was that Storm was saying, looking at the expression that she possessed, that did not possess any surprise at all.

"At that time, I understood that I had to make a decision. But even before I could make a decision on what to do, something strange happened. The ground on which I was standing on suddenly cracked, before I suddenly fell down the cliff." Storm continued.

"At that time, I believed that I was already dead. The decision that I was going to make back then was to fight with the experts, even if I was going to die, I had to make sure that I killed as many of them as possible before they managed to kill me.

But then again, it seemed that that was going to be impossible. Below the cliff was an abyss, and nobody had ever known how deep it was. And as you know, there is nobody who has ever fallen into the abyss, and ever came back.

As I was falling, I realized that I had fallen for quite a long while, but even then, I had not landed. That was enough to prove that the abyss was actually extremely long, and it seemed to have no end.

But just after I had thought about having a second chance, and getting my revenge, something else happened. A golden light suddenly erupted out of nowhere, before it enveloped me completely.

Then, a mysterious voice suddenly appeared in my mind, telling me that it was going to give me a second chance. But for that second chance, I was going to lose the strength that I possessed at that time.

But even then, I was going to be bound to a person, and I had to obey each and every command that I was given. But of course, I could always decide to go against the person that I was supposed to obey, but there would be consequences.

At that time, I did not understand anything. Of course, I would not agree to become anybody’s subordinates, considering the fact that I was a supreme ruler from where I came from. Although I was betrayed, that was not enough to make me somebody’s subordinate.

But when I thought of the fact that if I did not agree, I was going to die, and there was no way that I was going to take my revenge, I decided to agree. In any case, it was not as if I could not rebel. As long as I felt that there was something that was not in line with my principles, I would definitely not agree.

As for the repercussion that would come with rebellion, I really didn’t care about it at all. So, I agreed, and the moment that I did so, I was given information about where I was going to be taken.

It was in this world, where several races came over to fight for domination. The humans were the ones that were at a great disadvantage, and I was supposed to be a subordinate of a human.

Of course I was not happy about being given such a weakling to become my master. But then again, I decided that I would use my own abilities in order to make sure that I became the strongest. That way, I would be able to go back to my own world, so that I could deal with my enemies.

But I had never expected that I was going to get something more, something that I had never expected. The master that I was given was completely different from any other summoners. The potential that he possesses is so great, and he has so many incredible abilities."

The moment that he reached this point, Storm possessed a look of reverence in his eyes. This immediately surprised Elena, considering that this was actually the very first time in her life that she had ever seen Storm having that look in his eyes.

"Is that human so incredible? Is that human powerful enough to be able to make a supreme ruler like you to become reverent of him?" Elena asked confusedly.

In this world, she understood one thing, the most important thing was definitely the ability that everybody possessed. Additionally, as long as a human was strong enough, it was definitely not impossible for them to be able to take care of the members of the other races.

A very good example of that situation was the one that they were currently experiencing, as she could feel that this human who was leading this group was definitely stronger than she was. It was not that she already knew the level that he was in, but instead, it was simply because of the danger that she could detect coming from him.

As for Storm, she could also feel that he was stronger than herself. And, in this entire group, it was not just Storm and that human who was leading this group that were stronger than herself, but instead, there was the other girl, the white-haired one. She was also stronger than her.

As for the other one, although she was not stronger than her, the gap that existed between the two of them was definitely not that big. That implied that from wherever this group was coming from, they were definitely elites.

Upon hearing the question from Elena, Storm looked at Elena with excitement in his eyes. Then, he said, "If I tell you that there is actually no human that is capable of matching the master that I serve, then you will have to believe me."

Elena was once again dumbfounded the moment that she heard Storm calling someone master. Additionally, he was calling him master so naturally, as if he had already gotten used to it.

Looking at Elena, Storm immediately understood what she was thinking about. In the end, he could only shake his giant wolf head, before saying, "Actually, among all the summoned ones that my master possesses, I am the weakest of all. Although I don’t really know the backgrounds of the others, I do not want them, they definitely possess a bigger background than the one that I have."

Elena looked at Storm with disbelief clear in her eyes. He was actually the weakest? In the world that they were coming from, although it was true that Storm was not the strongest in the entire world, he was actually among the very top.

For him to be pushed to a situation where he was in, before he was transported here, it had taken over 7 experts out of a total of 10 in order to be able to subdue him. But even then, they had actually not managed to deal with him, instead, he had only fallen down the cliff.

If it was just in terms of personal strength and ability, it could be said that Storm was definitely the third strongest person in that world. And those that had attacked him were those that ranked fourth to the 10th position.

As for the reason why they wanted to attack Storm and eliminate him, it was actually for no any other reason other than greed. The Storm wolf clan was where Storm came from, and he was the leader of all the wolves in that world.

Elena decided not to talk much about this master that Storm was talking about. So, she just looked at him, before inquiring, "Can you tell me what it is that you plan to do? Are you planning to continue following that master of yours, or are you going to join the monster race?"

Storm looked at Elena and remained silent for a moment. Then after a while, he finally spoke, "I don’t really know how it is that you came into this world, but why don’t you let me know about it? Perhaps you are restricted as well? I don’t want the two of us to become enemies at all."
