"Do you guys want to join our territory?"

Jasmine and the other remaining seven men of the team that had been sent out, looked at him strangely. Obviously, they could not understand the matter concerning joining a territory.

All this long, they had been hiding. And for that reason, despite the fact that they had seen the prompts that often appeared in front of them with information, they had never gotten any information about the territory or anything about that.

When he realized that the group was not responding and were instead looking at him, Adam got confused too. "What? You want to join or not? Just give me the answer since we don’t have that much time to continue waiting for you to think much about this." Adam said impatiently.

Jasmine and the others finally reacted to his words. Jasmine took a step forward and asked, "What is a territory? Can it be that you have selected a place that you are planning to stay at?"

"What? You don’t even know about a territory? In what hole have all of you guys been living in..." Adam was surprised by the question and couldn’t help but exclaim. He was just about to continue talking when suddenly, Henry knocked him lightly on the head.

When he saw the expression that was on Adam’s face, Henry shook his head and said, "Why are you speaking like that? Its not like you knew about the territory until today."

After he said that, he looked at Jasmine and explained, "You should know that the apocalypse is like a game. All things that only appeared in fantasy can appear here and we get stronger with the number of monsters that we are going to kill." ƒreeωebnovel.ƈom

"As for the territory, you can take it as if this is just an area that has been chosen by a group of people as their base of operation. As always, a base of operation would need human resources to operate optimally. For that reason, we are trying to recruit those that would like to join the base."

"But, I’ll make it clear from the start. My territory does not accept leechers. For that reason, for one to join the base, that person will have to possess capabilities that can be of use in the base. I’m not ready to start feeding a group of people who only know how to sit, eat, go to the toilet and sleep."

As Henry said all of this, he made sure to inform the group about what they had to do in case they wanted to join the base and what was expected of them the moment they will join the base.

The more he explained the rules of the base, the stranger the expressions of Jasmine and the others got. They couldn’t help but wonder if Henry was serious about what he was saying or he was just playing a prank on them.

When he saw the look of disbelief on their faces, Henry shook his head and continued, "Nobody is going to force you to join the territory. But, the moment that you join the territory, you will have to follow the rules that would have been set. Now, are you interested in joining the territory or not?"

Jasmine and the others all remained silent as they began thinking about the matter seriously. But just as they were still thinking, Adam interrupted them. "You guys, I have already told you before that we don’t have that much time to continue waiting. So, you better make your decisions fast."

Jasmine looked incredulously at Adam before shifting her gaze towards Henry. She was just about to speak when Adam spoke again, "Lady please, just don’t think about becoming Henry’s woman. He is supposed to marry my sister. So, if you have such thoughts in your mind, you can forget about that happening."

The moment that his words fell, everyone looked at him strangely once again. Jasmine and the others were also infuriated by his words. The captain looked at Adam furiously as he asked, "What do you take lady Jasmine for? Do you think that she is just any casual woman? She is the governor’s daughter. And if you dare to speak badly about her once again, I wont care about anything and fight you to death!"

"That’s right. We all agree that you are strong. But, that doesn’t give you the right to speak like that about our young miss." Another man also retorted.

Although they knew that they were not able to deal with Adam, not to mention Henry, they still stood in front of Jasmine and berated Adam. It was true that they were scared. However, they were not sure that Adam, who was just a youth was going to be so cold-blooded.

They were just about to continue berating Adam when Jasmine spoke. "Stop it guys. This is not the way that we suppose to talk to those who saved our lives. We have not even thanked them yet."

Upon hearing her words, the group finally quieted down. As for Jasmine, she looked at Adam and noticed that there was an ugly expression on his face. It was clear to her that had she not stopped them from talking badly about him, perhaps he would have attacked them.

Jasmine looked at Henry. She knew that he was the one with the highest authority amongst the two. So, she said, "Joining your base is actually not that much of a problem for us. But, we are still having a problem about the rules."

Jasmine wanted to continue when Henry raised his hand to stop her. He looked at her and said indifferently, "If you have any problems about the rules, then, there is no need for you to join the territory. Believe me when I say that, those that deliberately disobey the rules that are in place, I wont mind killing them personally.

Jasmine and the others felt a chill running down their spines. They couldn’t believe that Henry could actually say such words. But still, looking at the indifferent expression on his face, they knew that he was not joking around.

Jasmine pursed her lips. If possible, she really wanted to join the territory. However the problem was that, she had already gotten used to the fact that, she would always take care of the helpless. But, in Henry’s territory, something like that was not going to happen.

Additionally, her father was a governor. How was he supposed to suddenly move from being the leader to being a subordinate? That was something that she was sure that her father was not going to agree to. Additionally, there was a group of tycoons present that did not like to follow the rules. How were they going to follow a young man as the leader?

Henry completely ignored the group and said to Adam, "Let’s go. Three hours are about to end and we have not yet to started the return journey." After he said that, he led the way and Adam followed him after extracting the mutation crystal from the zombie’s head.

"Wait!" Jasmine panicked when she noticed that Henry and Adam were actually departing. She knew that they were in danger if they continued to stay here, and met with another zombie like the one that had just been killed.

What’s more, they had to travel back to the hiding place and deliver the food. With all the zombies around, it was going to be a difficult task to complete. The only hope for them to complete that was by simply relying on Henry and Adam for protection.

Even though the captain and the others did not like Adam’s personality and attitude that the two of them were showing despite knowing that Jasmine was the governor’s daughter, they also knew that the two of them were the only one that could help them complete the task.

Henry stopped but did not look behind. Jasmine pursed her lips and said, "You said that as long as the person is part of your territory, you will not abandon them and help in case there is a need for that, right?"

Henry was silent for a while before replying, "A single chance for each person that is a member of the territory. But of course, this does not apply to everyone, but just a selected few that would have good abilities. What? You want to join the territory?"

Henry turned around and looked at Jasmine. At the same time, a panel appeared in front of him.

Jasmine felt her body tremble when she felt Henry’s gaze on her. It was as if Henry was able to see through her. Still, she clenched her fists and said, "I agree to join the territory."

The moment that she said that, the captain and his men were surprised. They looked at Jasmine with widened eyes filled with disbelief as they had never expected that she was actually going to agree to join the territory where she was going to lose her freedom, when she was currently holding a prestigious position.

They were just about to convince her otherwise but Jasmine simply shook her head, stopping them from saying anything.

"Yes. I will join your territory. But, I would like to use the chance to have you guys help me by delivering food back where our families are waiting for us." Jasmine added.
