The SSS Ranked Villain's Return-Chapter 235: Her Body
Neraxis let out a sigh.
After killing Fargoth, he flew for a while, following Evangeline's instructions.
However, she seemed a bit too playful for someone who had just told him to go to what she claimed was the lowest point in Velmoria.
[Pfft... I mean, you do know how to swim, don't you?] Evangeline giggled. [Just don't take off your clothes, and you'll be fine.]
If Primordial Presence can't dissipate that thing... then I'm dragging you along with me, Neraxis said as a shiver ran down his spine.
Simply enough, the lowest point in Velmoria just so happened to be a swamp in the very middle of the kingdom.
But it was a bit hard to find, considering what was left of the kingdom was nothing but rubble.
Sure, there were some highrises that remained, but if Neraxis were to simply give them a push, they would break apart in an instant.
However, just as he thought he would need to search for a lot longer, he suddenly spotted something.
It was a small puddle that had clear blue water, a stark contrast to everything around it.
But it was just that, a puddle, not the swamp he was looking for.
So he simply began moving forward.
Or so he wanted to, but Evangeline swiftly chimed in.
[That's it,] she said, her voice laced with excitement. [I know because I poured that water in myself. The only problem is that it's a bit narrow—likely because the vampire nobles patched it up.]
Sucks for them that we found it, I guess, Neraxis chuckled as he flew down beside it.
He could fit just barely, and despite Evangeline saying it was a swamp, it looked nothing like it.

It was just an ordinary clear puddle of water.
The only difference was the fact that he couldn't see an end to its depths, but that was beside the point.
Neraxis steeled his resolve and retracted his wings before taking a deep breath and stepping inside the puddle.
The water was cold, and the plague—which had just barely been a nuisance—seemed to increase drastically.
Now, it felt like his senses were being numbed, while at the same time, the plague's effects nearly caught up to his healing factor.
If only the sun was still here, Neraxis thought, before propelling himself downward.
The puddle was far too narrow—his body could barely fit.
One thing was strange, though.
It was a surprisingly perfect fit.
[Our bodies are perfect for each other, and my real body would be too...] Evangeline trailed off, as he could hear her munching on something again.
Evangeline... I'm literally running out of cookies because of you, he grumbled.
[Sorry, I just had an interesting thought...] Evangeline giggled. [I've had sex with you hundreds of times by now, but not in my real body... so would that technically make the next time we have sex my first? Does that mean you will take my virginity twice?]
What... Neraxis was speechless. Just continue eating your cookies...
It was a valid question, sure.
But whether he'd have to take her virginity again or not was just something he'd like to fantasize about later on.
After all, getting a boner in such a tight space would not be ideal.
[Hahaha...] Evangeline let out a laugh. [Think about it—me in a red dress staring at you like always, spreading my—]
Stop... Neraxis cut her off as a faint blush appeared on his face. You're making it hard for me to rescue you.
[You know who else is hard? You, in a few minut—]
Neraxis used mana to completely silence the connection, as any more and it would've been bad.
Nonetheless, he noticed that this water tunnel he was going through was very long, and it went pretty deep down.
As for how deep he was? No clue.
The only thing he knew was that the water pressure was starting to affect him now, which was surprising considering nothing on his world would make him feel this way.
But of course, this world was much larger than his own.
After a couple more minutes, and with Neraxis practically struggling to breathe unless he used mana—he finally found a pocket of air.
He floated up, and the moment he did, his eyes widened.
A massive cave filled with glowing coral crystals entered his sight, and better yet, there was a small pathway leading up to what seemed like a small hill.
Neraxis stepped onto the land, which was surprisingly solid, and then proceeded to follow the small pathway—until finally, he arrived at the very top.
The moment he did, a peculiar sight greeted him.
There was a grave surrounded by red roses, and in the center lay a striking red-haired woman, who was none other than Evangeline herself.
She was holding a bouquet of flowers, and despite how much time had passed, she still looked perfect.
It looks like someone maintained your body while you were gone, Neraxis pointed out warmly. You look beautiful—even more so than I imagined.
[Do you like my overly long hair...?] Evangeline muttered. [I can grow it out if you want. I wonder who took care of me, though—maybe they were the reason I didn't die?]
I'm not sure, but what now? Do you want my blood as well? Neraxis asked.
But instead of answering, Evangeline merely manifested herself in her sword form and floated over to her own body.
[The blood of progenitors normally clashes with one another—or so I've heard,] Evangeline explained, bringing the sword closer and closer to her body. [Neraxis, I feel the connection, and I can definitely come back, but you must promise me something.]
Neraxis tilted his head. What is it?
[When vampires awaken after a long slumber, they go into a frenzy. I want you to run away and hide for a while. It will take about an hour or so for my frenzy to go away, but during it, I won't be able to recognize you...] Evangeline said quietly. [I will give you a head start, so go up. I'm going to reawaken in 30 seconds.]
He immediately nodded and, with slight reluctance, headed back into the water and swiftly propelled himself upward—much faster than when he went down.
And after just 15 seconds, he was finally out.
However, he didn't stop there, as he manifested all six of his wings using {Primordial Presence: Singularity}, then flew high up into the sky.
Finally, he felt a sliver of safety coupled with a bit of anxiousness.
But then, his entire body shook as a fierce pressure descended—nearly making his wings tear.
And soon...
