The Strongest Beast Tamer With the Strongest System-Chapter 51: Bomb
(Boss, both of them are glass spheres. One contains lightning, and the other contains fire.) Ellie replied.
(What? There’s no weapon?) Leonardo was stunned again. This wasn’t what he had expected.
Besides, what kind of item was a glass sphere containing lightning or fire?
(There’s no weapon at all.) Ellie answered.
Leonardo didn’t ask further. He took out his phone and searched for it on the internet.
Glass sphere containing lightning.
As soon as he typed it, an image immediately appeared. A glass orb with small bolts of lightning swirling inside. There were also images of similar spheres containing flames.
Element Bomb Orb.
That was its name—an item capable of exploding and releasing the element sealed within it.
Of course, it wasn’t some ordinary bomb. Its value lay in the sheer power of the explosion, powerful enough to intimidate even high-level Awakeners above Level 50.
Naturally, using it the wrong way would easily turn someone into a terrorist.
On Floor 2 and above, hidden ruins sometimes appeared. Element Bomb Orbs were often used to destroy such ruins because they required a tremendous explosive force—something even high-level Awakeners might not be able to produce.
Due to the rules of the world, missiles and similar weapons couldn’t be used.
(Alright, just keep them for now!) Leonardo instructed Ellie.
He then went to the bathroom, smoked while using the toilet, and afterward took a warm shower.
After finishing everything, he put on his school uniform.
Today he wasn’t planning to go to the Monster World.
Where else would he go if not school?
After getting dressed, he prepared a simple breakfast—toast with fried eggs and a glass of warm milk.
The sky was still dark after he finished eating, and he planned to leave early.
However, the moment he opened the door, the blonde woman was already outside.
She leaned against the wall with one knee raised, also wearing her school uniform.
Her skirt was as short as usual, and today her blonde hair was tied into a ponytail, while the collar of her uniform shirt was opened slightly wider.
She no longer looked weak like she had the night before.
"Were you waiting for me?" Leonardo asked.
"Yes. I’ll follow you wherever you go today until the meeting with my father," Margaret replied.
Leonardo rolled his eyes.
"I’m only going to school today," he said, stepping into the elevator.
Margaret followed him in.
Inside the small space, the scent of her perfume became much stronger, stirring Leonardo’s mind slightly. Still, he forced himself to remain calm.
The elevator descended directly to the underground parking lot.
At this early hour, countless luxury cars were already parked there.
A remote appeared in Leonardo’s hand. He pressed the button.
Beep!
A car in the distance responded.
A new white BMW sedan, the latest generation.
Leonardo quickened his steps as he approached it, clearly eager to drive it.
Although he wasn’t really a car enthusiast, someone who had lived in poverty for most of his life would naturally feel excited.
He opened the driver’s door while Margaret opened the passenger door and got in first.
When Leonardo entered, Margaret had already pressed the engine start button and turned on the air conditioning.
Leonardo pretended she wasn’t there, but she suddenly spoke.
"You can drive, right?" she asked.
"Why worry? You won’t die even if I crash," Leonardo replied.
Whoosh!
The car suddenly lunged forward because he stepped on the gas pedal immediately.
It almost slammed into the wall, but fortunately the automatic braking system activated.
Even so, Margaret—who hadn’t fastened her seatbelt—nearly slammed into the dashboard.
Leonardo was fine since his hands braced against the steering wheel.
"You—!" Margaret glared at him.
"Why did you press the gas right away? You’re supposed to start by slowly releasing the brake," she said.
"I see..." Leonardo nodded lightly.
He had only learned through driving simulations and thought it would be fine to try directly.
"Shift the transmission," Margaret instructed.
There wasn’t enough space in front of them. The car needed to reverse first.
This time, Leonardo slowly released the brake.
The car finally moved backward smoothly.
Leonardo adapted quickly and drove out of the parking area onto the road.
Margaret still hadn’t put on her seatbelt.
She rolled down the window and leaned against the door, watching Leonardo.
"I might crash again if you keep staring at me," he said.
"Oh? Are you nervous?" she teased with a laugh.
Leonardo didn’t respond and simply lit a cigarette.
Even if traffic cameras caught him smoking while driving, he doubted any ticket would arrive—with that woman sitting beside him.
"Leonardo, when do you plan to open the Last Gate? You know Ayumi is still waiting," Margaret said, changing the topic after being ignored.
Leonardo frowned slightly when he heard the way she addressed him.
"I’ll open it when I want," he replied, choosing not to comment on the name she used. It would only create more drama.
"You should do it sooner. It will be troublesome if someone else finds you first," Margaret said.
Before Leonardo could respond, she added,
"Don’t underestimate this problem. There are many Awakener factions in this world that want that key. You were just suspected of being the owner of that owl. Even if you proved it wasn’t you, that doesn’t mean the suspicion disappeared."
"Sooner or later, they will discover the truth. And when that time comes, evidence won’t matter anymore. They will simply force you to hand over the key."
"You may think you can disappear, but people stronger than you have plenty of methods to track you down."
Even though Leonardo didn’t want to listen, he couldn’t deny that her words made sense.
External factions—even more terrifying than the Harvey Family—were not something a single individual could face, no matter how many tricks he had.
"This could happen sooner," Leonardo finally said. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
"But it will depend on you."
"Me?" Margaret looked surprised.
"Oh? Do you mean it depends on how much you trust me—or whether you can control me?" she said with a smirk. "The second option is obviously impossible. As for trust... that’s not something I can control."
"Besides, would you even believe me if I said I’m starting to be sincere and no longer have any schemes?"
