The Swapped Master's Bride And Her Bad Luck System.-Chapter 24: Shen Manman!!!!

With the help of her personal butler [assigned by Elder Zhang as of two days ago], Tai Liwu covered her body with a towel large enough to shield her from the prying view of the many eyes that were spying on her. As soon as she relaxed on the pool side chair, the purple towel came undone, to the great horror of butler Chen and great joy of Majesty who was relaxed on another chair next to her.

"Young miss, the towel is undone." Butler Chen reminded her.

Liwu suffocated the desire to roll her eyes. She was dressed in professional swimming gear that covered her body from neck to ankle. What was the butler afraid people would see? "Thank you, Uncle Chen but I am scared the towel will suffocate me," she said, grinning mischievously at the old man who was blinking rapidly.

Butler Chen looked at Liwu’s maids. It was their duty to cover the young miss, so what were they waiting for? The maids looked at the sky. Word had spread, if you crossed Liwu, bad luck followed. For a week, they had witnessed this for themselves. So, how could they dare approach her carelessly? If she did not want the towel on, it was not going on.

Liwu turned over, burying her head in the cushions. She could not recall the last time she had been this relaxed. One whole week of doing nothing but swimming, eating, riding horses, eating again, watching dramas, eating again and sleeping. It felt more like a vacation than any vacation she had ever been on.

Her husband had been tied up with city duties and she had not seen a trace of him since the night she called him Sweet Rose. His mother was avoiding her and Shen Biao had not been around since that chaotic dinner.

Life in Shen manor was pretty good!

Even Reaper thought so. He was in the pool, playing with a beach ball and the Shen family guard dogs. If he was on Dragon mountain right now, he would be leading drills.

Liwu’s response was smothered by the cushions.

None the less, Majesty said what was on his mind. "Take a walk around the city." The cat’s nails traced over a brochure that was given to most tourists on their arrival to One city. "This city has twelve districts. Jingwan, where we live. It is famous for its massive docks, despite your great grandfather rerouting the sea.

Tie Ta, the industrial heart of One city with bustling dueling arenas for all gaming system hosts. Rouyan, which has romantic gardens, large parks and exceptional tea.

Fengmen, where the military base is along with a military university and the first system academy in the world. Yue Sha, the magical district of theater and illusions."

Liwu snorted. "More like charlatans and thieves, but go on."

Majesty did exactly that. "Jinshi, the golden district with rare system items, antique markets and high value auctions. Cangtian or the Sky realm as everyone calls it because it is famous for cultivation system hosts, sky bridges and floating mansions."

Liwu’s stomach roared, rising to the reminder of her need for sustenance.

"Lotus quarters. All they have are temples, monks, priests, bamboo forests and lotus ponds." The cat skimmed over the introduction information on the brochure. Meditation was not its style. But, it would not mind making a trip there to eat some of the koi fish on those ponds!

Butler Chen cleared his throat. "Elder Zhang hopes that you don’t go to Huiyan, the horror district. In his words, if you are scared into...err...urinating on yourself, the family will be embarrassed."

Liwu stood up, moved quickly, snatched the phone from the butler’s hands and tossed it into the swimming pool. Six dogs went after it, barking excitedly. "Stop tattling on me every second butler Chen, or I will arrest you for invasion of privacy."

Now, Huiyan was definitely on her list of districts to visit and she would have to do something big enough to blow up and infuriate the elder.

Majesty continued as though nothing had happened, "How about Yinlu? They have technology fused with magic and tournaments created from games in all the movies and animations in the world. You could join the Dragon ball games."

Liwu shrugged as she sat down.

Majesty pointed to the last district on the brochure, Shamo Yu. "I don’t suppose you want to see the desert created by a system? You could shop for spices and enjoy the mirage experience. Ride some camels, wind surf, discover hidden gems in buried ruins."

Liwu’s stomach grumbled. It knew where it wanted to go, as did she. "Flame street."

Majesty made some biscuits, pushing his paws down on the cushion excitedly. That had been his first choice too. "We are leaving the dog, right?"

Liwu glanced at Reaper, he was having too much fun to be dragged away. "Just us."

Off to the bedroom they went, to bathe and change. She changed into a purple dress and short heeled boots while Majesty just picked a new collar. One with a big red ruby and six smaller gems that screamed ’I am a pampered beloved member of the Tai family so they lavish jewels on me.’

The trip to Flame district was not a short one, and by road, it would take two hours. For Liwu, that was too many hours. Her husband owned three perfectly good helicopters on the compound, so why waste time? She commandeered the biggest one, along with a pilot who was too nervous to say no.

By the time Weijun learned of what had happened, Liwu was in the sky, along with his helicopter. With her bad luck, it would fall out of the sky and end up in pieces. But that woman, she would survive!

But what if she didn’t? If she died, wouldn’t he be accused of sabotaging the helicopter? Immediately, he decided to go after her.

"Hale, prepare a helicopter. We need to go after that crazy woman before her bad lucks gets her or anyone else killed." A wild thought crossed his mind. What if her bad luck caused an earthquake or something worse in the city?

Where was she going anyway?

Hale started a helicopter and his men climbed inside However, before Weijun could join them, his aunt Shen Biao stopped him.
