The Villain and the Cannon Fodder’s Mother-Chapter 230: Alas, his wife was already asleep! (2)
Chapter 230 – Alas, his wife was already asleep! (2)
When Meng Yuran was done with his shower, he felt recharged. When he went back downstairs to see if the other two annoying individuals were still around, all he saw were the three individuals with their heads stuck together.
Meng Yuran, “……”
That was such an eyesore!
Anyone who didn’t know better would think they were a family of three!
Lu Mingzhe was the first to notice him.
He immediately tried to signal his little uncle who was still talking about which island has the prettiest site with his head lowered.
Unfortunately, neither one of the two slow adults picked up on his subtle hints.
Meng Yuran was already downstairs. He walked over to the living room and even quickly snatched up one of the brochures from the travel agencies with his hand.
Lin Yiyi, startled, looked like she had seen a ghost. “How come you make no noise when you walk? When did you come downstairs?”
And that was when she finally realized that her surprise had been ruined.
Lin Yiyi, “! ! ! !”
Lu Xun had already abandoned all hope.
He gave his nephew a stare and grumbled, “Why didn’t you tell us?”
His nephew faced the stairway where he was sitting. He must have seen Meng Yuran coming down the stairs. He must have done it on purpose!
Lu Mingzhe rolled his eyes in response. He blinked to a point that he almost had cramps in his eyes and, yet, neither one of them had noticed.
He even tugged at his little uncle’s shirt. In return, his little uncle had smacked away his hand as though it was an annoying fly. He had smacked so hard that his hand had turned red!
They deserved to be caught!
Meng Yuran was a smart one. With a couple looks at what was in front of him, he more or less had the whole thing figured out. There was no point in denying it now. Might as well just give up at this point.
Sure enough, with a look of enlightenment, Meng Yuran said, “Is this a travelling plan?”
Then he sat down on the couch.
Reading through the brochures after he had sat down, Meng Yuran quickly noticed that they were mainly 3-4 days’ trips. He asked, “The next vacation coming up is New Year and many will be travelling. There isn’t much to see at any local vacation spots. What else do you expect to see other than crowds?”
That was another way of looking at it, but what he said made sense…
The point of a vacation is to leave the city, relax, and sightsee, but everywhere one could go would be chock full of people. Even if they were to visit tourist areas outside of the country, they would still be filled with Chinese people. It wouldn’t even feel like they have left the country!
Distressed, Lin Yiyi nodded. “I’ve thought about taking off for November 11, but I didn’t plan for it early enough, so I thought perhaps we can go somewhere for the new year with the three days off. Just perfect for a short trip. Alright, Little Yuran, where would you like to go?”
“Anywhere is fine.” Meng Yuran tossed the brochures back onto the coffee table indifferently with a bored look.
“Saipan, Guam, and Sabah are all pretty good. My personal recommendation is Langkawi, it was a more well-known Malaysian island. Two to three days on the island will be quite sufficient. That being said, with the three of you and two of them being younger ones, it’s probably better to go in a bigger group. It so happens that my little uncle and I are free over the New Year holidays…” Lu Mingzhe suggested to Lin Yiyi all of a sudden.
What a great wingman!
