The Villainess Married The Evil CEO-Chapter 140: Doctor Owen!
Before she could even think of a proper reply, Nicholas held her hands and gave the interviewer a professional smile that lacked even a basic trace of warmth. He nodded at her and said, "We will be uploading them on my official account."
Abigail’s gaze turned toward her husband as she became even more anxious. She bit her bottom lips hard as if trying to suppress the urge to ask him immediately.
Ah, how could they upload it when they didn’t snap a single wedding pic to begin with?! Has her husband gone mad finally after all this time associating with her?
The interviewer only focused on Nicholas and nodded. She wrote something down on her tablet and finally raised her head, asking, "One last question to both of you." She paused and pressed her lips together to stop laughing at their faces. "The first time you introduced your wife to others, you told everyone that she was weak in her head in your office. What was that all about? And we also received reports of how she destroyed a bunch of things in anger. Do you have anything to say about it?"
Nicholas glanced coldly at his wife, who lowered her head. She really wanted to bury herself in a hole underground and never appear. Now that she was having medicines and proper counselling sessions from Owen, she knew that her actions were indeed drastic. 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
Not that she regretted destroying those places. She did get a lot of pleasure when she wreaked havoc all across the world like this. But it didn’t mean she didn’t feel embarrassed after seeing the interviewer almost laugh at her like this.
Maybe she should create another mess and warn this lady to shut the f*ck up!
Before she could react, Nicholas calmly held her hand and said without changing the expression on his face, "She has bipolar disorder."
En?
Just how did Nicholas find out?!
Abigail was sure she never told her husband about it! The only person who knew about her condition was probably her doctor!
Or had she told him?
She scratched her head, but since she couldn’t remember, she threw it to the back of her head and stopped thinking about it.
Nicholas found out about it easily. Even though his dreams were vague, he remembered that file he was seeing, and in that file, Abigail’s condition was written. Later, he even searched about it and found that her condition was the same as Bipolars.
Then he remembered the psychiatrist she was seeing these days. It all made sense.
So, was there some truth to his dreams? Nicholas didn’t care since he didn’t remember them anyway.
After saying some pleasantries, they waved the lady goodbye and walked out. Nicholas looked at his wristwatch and turned toward his wife, saying, "I’ll be busy for the next two hours with the meeting and press conference. You can go anywhere you want."
"No." Abigail had decided to spend the rest of the day with her husband, and that’s what she will do! "I’ll go with you."
Fine then. He was only saving her from those boring meetings. He could endure them because it was his work, and he had been doing it all his life, but Abigail wasn’t habitual of those lengthy, boring meetings.
Thus, the two of them headed to a hotel where these two events would be held. Coincidentally, this hotel was also the same where Owen would stay.
Ever since the two of them talked, it had already been an hour. He had already boarded the plane by that time and was halfway over already. In fact, he was already at the airport when he called Abigail.
He planned to head over there and prepare his place and office before calling his patient for the counselling session the next time. Since he was professional, he should act like one. Thus, not meeting Abigail directly was a better option for him since he didn’t want to enter into her personal life.
Thus, by the time Nicholas’s meeting ended, he had already landed and started to rush toward his hotel. Even though he had an entire day, he wasn’t that free. He still had so much work to do. Thus, he rushed to the venue without stopping. He would freshen up and rest for a while before heading to his new office. Although he had to join the work from tomorrow, he still needed to do a few things being the head of the department.
So, as he entered the lobby of the hotel carrying his bag, he noticed a familiar face, Abigail, walking together with Nicholas. There was a sleepy expression on her face, and she didn’t even hide her yawn, opening her mouth wide like a hippopotamus. After that, she tried her best to keep her eyes open, but she couldn’t and stumbled nearly to the ground.
Thankfully, her husband was there and held her, but he didn’t give any remarks and continued to hold her hand, this time to literally drag her half-awake to the lobby entrance and head outside. Abigail also nearly stumbled into him again, falling into Nicholas’s arms. At this time, Owen averted his eyes.
Owen did feel slight ripples in his heart, especially because he had been reading her novel and feeling familiar with the man named Silas, but that was all. Since he wasn’t really associated with Abigail yet personally, he would steer clear of her and wouldn’t disturb her married life.
So what if he may or may not have connections with her in her previous life? That was his past life or the life before transmigrating. Right now, his name is Owen.
He knew his place well, and right now, his profession was more important to him.
Honestly, Owen didn’t want to disturb them and go on his path as usual. But it seemed fate had other things planned for him. Just as he was about to go and head over to the receptionist, he heard the woman’s loud noise vibrating from the door.
"Doctor Owen!!! You’re here already?!"
Owen stumped onto his foot as he turned back, feeling slightly helpless. He didn’t want to be noticed. How the heck did the girl see him when she was merely too sleepy to even walk in a proper line?
But it would also look too rude if he walked away just like that. Thus, he stopped and turned around to face the girl.
