The Villianess story: A 100 ways to kill your husband-Chapter 333: Still the same psycho
Chapter 333: Still the same psycho
Abrielle felt the pain from his words. She was touched, her heart squeezed as she wrapped her hand around his waist. She laid her head on his chest, her own chest feeling tight.
It felt difficult to breathe; everything felt like a big messed-up plot. She didn’t know what to believe anymore. Did he truly love her? Cedric had no reason to lie to her.
"I don’t know what to say but I need time. I can’t claim I love you as much as you do. I don’t even know what I feel for you, but if you are ready to accept this wicked woman, I guess you would never give me the chance to run if I want to.."
Cedric smiled. It wasn’t a perfect answer, but he would manage it. "Where else do you want to go besides staying with your husband? If it’s time I have all the time in the world to wait for the day your heart beats for me."
Her heart skipped a beat at how patient he sounded. "Does that mean you will unlock the chain?" She asked slowly. She didn’t see his expression but she was sure Cedric was smirking.
He grabbed her chin, making her look at his face. That dangerously gorgeous face seemed out of this world, and maybe truly it was. She remembered when he came at the nick time.
Cedric didn’t have a mask on, although the wind was in his hair, scattering it all over his face. He was amid air with gigantic pitch-black wings on his back.
"Nice try Abrielle. Enjoy the chains so that you will think about your actions next time. I am giving you the time to fall in love with me but it doesn’t change the past or me. Your security would be heightened, and before you think of another stunt to run away, I will stop you." He said in a single breath before stepping off the bed.
A sad smile graced her lips, she almost forgot he was a psycho with extreme mood swings. The same man that was passionately confessing to her seconds ago was now threatening her
"You know if you keep threatening me and treating me coldly it will take forever for me to fall head over heels for you." She snorted at him. Cedric was standing by the desk he had been working on earlier; he picked up a black mask on the table and put it on before he glanced at his wife, who seemed upset. ƒree𝑤ebnσvel.com
She was upset, but he was angrier, just that he could not show his rage in front of her. Because he found her and made his feelings known doesn’t mean he was going to magically forgive her for recklessly putting her life in danger and almost making him a widower
"You think I am cold." Cedric scoffed, "This is far from cold, and if it will take forever, then we will have to wait forever." He added then walked out angrily slamming the door behind him
Abrielle was stunned after he left. Was he angry because she didn’t give him an immediate answer or the fact she ran away? A sigh left her lips. Her eyes went to one of the windows that were left open the curtains flapping
A soft smile subconsciously graced her lips as she remembered the day she should have dreaded, the first day she came to this world. The day she met the masked man who caught her before falling.
"A lot has happened," she said. "But what will happen now?" She was confused. From her guess, the system was what was enforcing the plot on this world and probably what had been whispering in Cedric’s head
Now the system has lost its control because Cedric fell in love with her. Was the plot going to continue to affect this world? Or another question: was this world ever influenced by the plot?
Cedric seemed like the Cedric she wrote but had physical differences. He wasn’t meant to be more gorgeous than Lucian who she described as having the looks of the gods.
Cedric was meant to have a scar on his face from his first battle but his face was slashed by Eleanor due to a love relationship that was never in the original plot Astrid has feelings for Cedric,
Two, he was unusually strong with regenerative abilities he didn’t have originally. That led to him not having a scarred face. Another thing, what did that wing mean? Because, like hell, she was more than certain Cedric Von Drakkar couldn’t fly.
Leaving that aside, what was she going to do now her life was not influenced by the plot? There was a slight knock on the door. "I have your breakfast, your highness." She heard Evelyn’s voice before she could answer Evelyn came in with a standing tray
It was weird for her to enter without permission, but she understood why immediately. Cedric followed Evelyn in.
Evelyn walked towards the bed, her brows furrowed when she saw the chains. Cedric beat her to it. "She can eat with her left hand chained." He mentioned. Evelyn nodded then placed the tray across Abrielle.
Cedric walked up to the table to grab the documents he was working on earlier.."I will be in my study." He mentioned, then left the room.
Abrielle’s eyes followed him until he was out of the door. For sure he was grumpy. Evelyn smiled watching Cedric’s interaction.
"I am glad he is finally leaving this room. For the past 3 days, you have been unconscious. He didn’t leave your bedside once." She mentioned surprising Abrielle.
"I was unconscious for 3 days."
"Yes, 3 days; it was hard attending to you under his sharp gaze. He would not leave and no one dared to ask him to." Evelyn chuckled, she had complicated feelings.
Cedric, to her, was more than just her master. She also saw him as a younger brother and wanted the best for him. She was sceptical when it came to Cedric’s feelings for Abrielle. After all, she had tried to kill him before and was rumoured to have a relationship with the youngest prince.
She truly hopes things work out and Cedric doesn’t get hurt in the end.
