Freshly showered, instead of going into the gaming world, Alix played around with Majesty and Baby. She had not spent much time with the cat lately and she kept up with him in his vlog, a day in the life of a majestic cat.

Zhang An had not been playing around when she said that she was planning to turn the cats into celebrities. Majesty and Baby had more followers than she did on weibo.

She dangled a tiny fishing rod with a little blue mouse attached on the hook in front of the cats. Even though it was a silly game, both cats kept trying to catch the mouse. When she initiated the game, she thought Majesty would be too proud to play but he surprised her. He was more invested in the game than Baby.

Her phone rung and she answered it in a slow voice.

"Yes, Meifen."

"I found the two boys." The woman went straight to the point.

The boys she was speaking of were her two brothers, aged twelve, just a year younger than Yuewei. They were living in an orphanage and the system elf had only found them because Alix told it to track all the women that Lin Qianfan had been involved with just in case he had any other surprises out there.

Because she had been busy, Alix sent Meifen to the orphanage to see the two boys in person. She had visited under the guise of a new donor that wanted to help the children.

"What do you think?" Alix dropped the cat toy and leaned against a chair.

"They look enough like him. I can’t believe that he has other children out here and he is living carefreely. How can he not know?" Meifen went off on a rant because she was in disbelief.

"Because he changes his mistresses every after a month to keep Jing Hee from finding out. Besides, even if she finds out, a temporary mistress is of no threat to her position as a wife. On the other hand, if she had looked into it further and discovered that he skipped his sex education classes, particularly the ones on safety, she would have prevented this problem."

Alix noticed him approaching and she figured now was a good a time as any.

"Meifen, I will discuss the details with you further later on. For now, return to the orphanage tomorrow, no, I think it will be better if I go on my own with proof of relation. Send Yuewei my regards. Have a goodnight."

She ended the call and turned to her husband.

"You won’t believe what my...Mr. Lin Qianfan did."

Without skipping a beat, he asked her, "Does he have another illegitimate child?"

She gasped and her eyes widened. "How did you know? Have you been investigating him like me?"

"No, but I can judge basing on what I have picked up from your conversation. So, what is it?"

He sat down and waited for dinner to be served as he stroked Baby’s fur and took over the role of teasing both cats with the toy Alix had been using.

"He has two other sons, twins that are just one year younger than Yuewei. When my grandmother hears about it, she is going to make offerings and praise the ancestors. Her life long wish of continuing the Lin family line has been accomplished." She winced and tilted her head with a rather confused expression on her face. "But, for a man that has long wanted sons, why did he never bother to check on the women he philandered around with?"

She put one leg up on the chair and invaded Caishen’s space as she continued to express her confusion. "I mean, how could he just tell Meifen to terminate the pregnancy without waiting to find out if it was a boy or a girl?"

"Have you forgotten the old child policy of our country before amendment?"

"Right." she slapped her thigh and said loudly. The country had a two child policy back then. "Now, one can have three children legally, it must be why he is so eager to claim Yuewei. He noticed the small smile on her face when she said brothers.

The two nanny’s brought over their food and Alix stood up to help them arrange it around the table. They had prepared quite a number of dishes and a cake. It seemed like Caishen had prepared a little feast to celebrate.

Alix’s hands went straight for the cake, then she heard the silly system elf laughing in her mind. She folded her lips and retrieved her hands.

Her composure surprised Caishen. Going for the cake first was something he expected of her. Holding back from eating as she desired, was not.

He didn’t dwell on it for long and moved along to the question on his mind.

"So, is your plan to adopt them?" He served himself a wonton as he waited for her response.

"They are orphans, if I let them be, I don’t know what will happen. However, adopting them without understanding their character is also worrisome. I have been traumatized by one sibling in this life. I am thinking of letting them live with Meifen for a while while I visit and spend time with them. What do you think?"

He shrugged and answered, "It’s your choice and I will support you in whatever you decide to do. Feeding a few boys will not break your husbands pockets."
