The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 330: Caishen=baby to Yura.
"Will you be fine, my baby?" Yura asked Caishen.
She even squatted down and held both of his hands and looked at him gently.
"Do you want to spend the night at my place? We can set up a tent and camp indoors like we used to. I could sing you a song and tell you some stories."
Caishen frowned and snatched his hands back. His mother was really treating him like a baby. She seemed to have forgotten that Zhang An was her actual baby, her last born child.
Zhang Bo was laughing at Caishen. He even pulled his phone out to record the moment.
"Mom, what are you doing?" Caishen asked her.
Who was supposed to be worried about the other in this situation? She needed consolation more than he did. She could act like her heart was made of steel but he knew better. He would not allow her to spend the night alone.
"Fine, we will both sleep at your place." He looked up at Zhang Bo for confirmation.
"Huh!" she responded in shock.
Caishen nodded and confirmed again, "Yes, we will spend the night at your place and camp at home just like old days. I am going to talk to my wife and tell her about it."
"Hey, i was joking, you don’t need you to say yes to this. Thank you, but no thanks." Yura got to her feet with a soft smile on her face.
"No, we are coming." Zhang Bo said as well.
He was in sync with his brother. They would let their mother spend this night alone.
"I know what you are both thinking but i can assure you that i do not need babysitting." she told them.
It was written all over their faces, the desire to coddle her as if she was a weak woman on the brink of a break down.
Bo chuckled and said, "We haven’t called you a baby so how can we babysit?." He turned to Caishen and asked, "Have we called our mother a baby?"
"I believe we haven’t. In fact the only person here that has been called a baby is me." Caishen answered smartly.
"A baby, hmmm, i did not know my husband was still a baby." Alix snuck up on them just as Caishen was making the statement with a smart look on his face.
Caishen closed his eyes momentarily and winced softly. She was definitely going to call him that from now on. It would not be that sexy baby, or fondly calling your partner baby but a taunting kind of baby just like his use of sister hulk.
When he opened his eyes, he looked at her immediately and observed her knowing smile that promised she would go through with everything he was thinking.
Yura put her arm through one of Alix’s arms and asked her, "Alix, why are you here too? Did these two say something to you?"
She tugged her body closer while answering, "No, mother-in-law i came to pick you up because you are missing out on all the fun. Come, we are about to go on the ferris wheel."
She was so smooth, not giving away the fact that she had knowledge of what was going on.
Alix put a smile on her face for Yura and she said, "Mother-in-law, should we wear sunglasses too? All of my brothers are wearing them and claiming they look cool."
"Should we?" Yura replied.
"We should." Alix suggested.
She had carried her bag with her as always and in there were at least three pairs of sun glasses. She stopped and searched the bag, handing Yura one and saving the extra for auntie Mo. freewebnoveℓ.com
They joined everyone else and climbed into the seats on the ferris wheel.
"Pictures first." Tai Dalian announced.
Everyone paused willingly, smiling or making funny poses. Only two people were missing from the fun, NaNa and Xian. Apart from the Zhang elders, nobody else was really missing them desperately.
After enjoying themselves, with Alix screaming as if she was sky diving, they moved on to the sky swings, then booster, bumper cars, devil’s wheel, and bumper boats.
The one person who was having more fun than Alix was grandpa Tai. He somehow had energy to enjoy every single ride with her while the others chose to sit out a few.
After three hours of non-stop fun, Alix was ready to eat and leave. She had a mission to engage in after all.
It seemed she was not the only exhausted one because Xiaobo staggered over to where she was sitting on one of the benches, waiting for those who were just coming off the drop tower.
"Auntie." he called her softly.
He climbed onto her body freely acting like a baby that needed to be cuddled.
A part of Alix was very thrilled and she held him gently. "What’s wrong baby Bo? Are you tired?"
After all that fun and running around, it was impossible for him not to be exhausted. She looked at his flushed face and thought he must have been hungry as well.
"Mmm, tired." he answered.
"At what time did you go to sleep last night?" she asked him.
He shook his little head, gesturing that he didn’t know but Alix guessed that it was really late when he did. Caishen’s friends had gone to sleep at around three in the night.
When Alix left the small gathering the previous night, Xiaobo was with his father who was with them. It was not wild to assume that he had gone to sleep late as well.
While she was cradling Xiaobo, grandma Zhang found her way to them and she sat down next to Alix.
Alix smiled at the elder and bowed her head slightly in a polite greeting without saying a word.
Grandma Zhang smiled back affectionately and she glance Alix an approving look.
This grand daughter-in-law was really good, she thought. She was talented, educated, financially capable, steel willed and good with children. The only thing grandma Zhang needed from her was a great grandchild and she would become perfect in her eyes.
"He has really taken to you." she told Alix.
Alix caressed the top of Xiaobo’s head and she nodded. "He is a good boy and he is so easy to love."
"You are good with him." Grandma Zhang added.
Alix detected something in grandma Zhang’s tone and she had a feeling about what was coming out of the elders mouth next.
"Have you given any more thought to what we discussed last time? Are you and Caishen planning on having a baby anytime soon?"
Alix couldn’t have been happier to hear the growling of her stomach. It was loud enough to draw the elders eyes down and wake Xiaobo who had just started dozing off.
"Let’s go and eat. Hurry up everyone, let’s get back on the bus and find something to eat." Alix loudly shouted.
She looked at grandma Zhang and smiled innocently. She then said, "Grandma, i am so hungry that i can’t think straight right now. I bet it’s the same for everyone, especially our Xiaobo. Why don’t we eat something first?"
Grandma Zhang smiled helplessly because she expected this kind of reaction. She would raise the topic again the following month. She was aware that Alix and Caishen were dodging her but sooner or later, she would get an answer out of them.
