This Young Master Has Infinite Comprehension-Chapter 34: Gu Qinghe’s Preparations
Gu Qinghe stepped forward and stood in front of that person, positioning himself between the figure and his mother.
Even though it was only a simple projection, the anger inside him was impossible to suppress.
The Meridian Ice Curse had been cast because of Wang Yunxi’s engagement to Gu Zhen.
In the projection, Yunxi collapsed weakly, coughing up blood. After a moment, she forced herself to sit upright and resume meditation.
She needed to conserve her strength to leave the winter region.
Unlike her, that person merely sneered before turning and walking out of the cave where Wang Yunxi had been cultivating.
The memory projection ended there.
Gu Qinghe stepped out of the cave and looked into the distance. His fists were still clenched tightly.
The information he had been searching for had finally borne fruit.
He now knew who had planted the Meridian Ice Curse in Wang Yunxi.
And he would personally kill them.
Once that person died, the Meridian Ice Curse inside Wang Yunxi’s body would completely disappear.
I can’t act recklessly. I need a plan to make sure they truly die.
His flying sword appeared before him. He stepped onto it and soared away, not toward the Core Disciples Hall, but toward his wooden house.
He needed to cultivate and train, to strengthen himself further. Now that he knew who his enemy was, acting rashly would only bring disaster.
Gu Qinghe had to remain patient until the right time came.
Only then could Wang Yunxi’s Meridian Ice Curse be fully eradicated.
He arrived at the wooden house. No one was there but him.
Gu Qinghe sat cross-legged on a stone and activated the Silent Yin Extraction method.
Qi flowed into his body little by little. The amount increased alongside his cultivation level.
However, advancing within Core Formation was far more difficult than progressing through Foundation Establishment.
Gu Qinghe did not rush.
High cultivation without sufficient technique was no different from being a fool.
Balance was better.

Two months later.
Gu Qinghe returned to the Core Disciples Hall of the Yin-Yang Sect. There, Grand Elder Ming was training the core disciples—not in cultivation, but in techniques and formations.
Grand Elder Ming was pleased to see him and stepped forward to greet him.
"You’ve come at the right time. There’s news from the Sect Master about the Yao Palace Treasure Hunt."
"This event takes place once every fifty years. This year, it will be held again," Grand Elder Ming said.
"Yao Palace? A place filled with artifacts, technique scrolls, and high-grade weapons. It’s no wonder cultivators desire it," Gu Qinghe replied.
"You’re right. The Sect Master plans to send five core disciples to explore Yao Palace."
"I will recommend you. You are the strongest among them," Grand Elder Ming said firmly.
Gu Qinghe fell silent, his expression serious. He occasionally glanced at the other disciples behind him, who were clearly jealous of the special treatment he received.
It was only natural. His cultivation had already reached Core Formation—comparable to a hall elder.
Grand Elder Ming valued him far more than the others.
"About that... I cannot decide yet, Grand Elder Ming."
"Why not? With your cultivation and strength, you could easily crush your enemies," Grand Elder Ming insisted.
"Because he will be going with me."
A graceful female voice echoed across the hall.
Grand Elder Ming and Gu Qinghe turned to see Lin Ruyue descending lightly on her sword, her presence elegant and captivating.
Whenever she appeared, the faint fragrance of flowers seemed to follow.
Several male disciples stared at her in a daze until Grand Elder Ming released a burst of qi to snap them out of it.
"Stop using your beauty charming aura, Elder Lin."
"My apologies, Elder Ming," Lin Ruyue replied softly.
She turned and smiled when her eyes met Gu Qinghe’s.
Gu Qinghe cupped his hands and bowed respectfully.
"Junior Gu and I will be going to Minghua City," Lin Ruyue said, glancing at him.
Grand Elder Ming looked toward Gu Qinghe. "Is that true?"
"My apologies, Senior Ming Hui. What Elder Lin says is correct. I have an appointment with her in Minghua City."
Grand Elder Ming’s expression showed disappointment, but he could not object. A promise was a promise.
Especially not one made to Lin Ruyue. He had no desire to damage his relationship with her.
"Very well. I will recommend someone else," Grand Elder Ming said.
He returned to the group of male disciples, leaving Gu Qinghe and Lin Ruyue standing side by side in front of the hall.
"News of the auction has already spread throughout the country. Many people from various backgrounds will come to compete for the Spirit Infant Pill."
"I hope you can obtain it, Junior Gu."
Gu Qinghe paused, then smiled faintly as he cupped his hands again.
He had already informed the elders of the Gu Clan. They were prepared to wager significant clan resources to secure the pill, hoping Lin Ruyue could heal Wang Yunxi.
"Senior Lin Ruyue need not worry. The Gu Clan will assist you in obtaining it."
A bright smile bloomed on Lin Ruyue’s face. "Thank you, Qing’er."
Gu Qinghe smiled softly in return.
Qing’er was the nickname Wang Yunxi used for him.
Now he understood just how close Wang Yunxi and Lin Ruyue truly were.
He hoped that one day, he could reunite a healthy Wang Yunxi with Lin Ruyue.
A reunion between old friends would surely be moving.
"The auction will take place next week. Prepare yourself, Qing’er."
"I understand. I will make sure everything goes smoothly."
Lin Ruyue seemed pleased. She turned and entered the Core Disciples Hall, where many female core disciples were gathered.
Gu Qinghe remained outside, looking over the various inner halls where disciples were training.
The Core Disciples Hall stood high enough to oversee the activity across the sect grounds.
After the auction, Wang Yunxi would surely be cured.
Over the past two months, Gu Qinghe had refined his techniques repeatedly. He had now fully mastered several Earth-grade offensive and defensive techniques.
With such preparation, he would not fear facing that person when the time came.
Your curse will soon be erased, Mother.
And it would all begin in Minghua City.
