Top Actress Beware: Also Reborn Is Your CEO Husband!-Chapter 753 Reluctant
When she was young, although she depended on me, she never told me what was on her mind. When she grew up, she rarely depended on me anymore.
Ah, who’s to blame for his absence for so many years.
Even if Caspian Parker regrets it now, it’s too late. He can only do his best to make it up to his sister.
...
After breakfast, Aurelia Shaw packed her luggage.
Mason Nightshade had said he would take her for training today, and she’d need to stay at the mountaintop club for a few days. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎
Hearing familiar footsteps approaching, Aurelia turned around and saw Mason Nightshade walking in, "Don’t you need to pack your luggage?"
Mason leaned against the door frame, looking at her. She was wearing a blue floral loungewear, her long, curly black hair was tied up, a layer of sweat beading on her forehead and nose, and her fair skin had a rosy hue. He watched her, his Adam’s apple bobbing, a warmth bubbling inside him.
He slowly curved his lips into a charming rogue smile and said, "I can’t."
Seeing her eyebrows raise, he explained, "Gustavo Yates used to help me pack. I wasn’t sure what to bring when traveling, and even if I did, I’d miss something."
Mason had a cleanliness obsession. How could he possibly let others pack his personal items? However, Aurelia didn’t expose him; instead, she asked, "Should I call Gustavo Yates over?"
Mason’s face darkened.
Aurelia seemed oblivious, rubbing her chin thoughtfully, "Gustavo Yates would take a while to get here from home, hmm... How about I get Mrs. Rong to help you pack instead?
Mrs. Rong!"
Mason’s face, which had slightly improved, instantly darkened again. He glared at her fiercely, pushed her onto the bed, and grabbed her chin, "Are you really clueless or just pretending?"
Noticing the mischievous glint in her eyes that hadn’t yet faded, Mason found himself both loving and hating her adorable little expressions.
"Be a good girl, help me pack."
Aurelia discovered that this man, Mason, when aloof, no one could approach him, but once someone was in his heart, he liked to cling to them.
In the end, she helped Mason pack.
The two suitcases stood by the door, and Aurelia didn’t move, looking at Mason instead, instructing him, "Carry them downstairs."
The heavy suitcases felt as light as two eggs in Mason’s hands. He easily lifted them downstairs and placed them into the trunk.
Aurelia followed him downstairs, a fluffy ball rolled to her feet. For once, a gentle expression appeared in her eyes. She picked up the fluffy ball and stroked its soft little head, "You know I’m leaving, is that why you can’t bear to part with me? I’ll be back in a few months. Be good and listen to Mrs. Rong; eat well, okay?"
The fluffy ball hugged her finger, gnawing on it with its two small front teeth, but it didn’t hurt.
"Can’t bear to part with me?" Aurelia seemed to read its mind.
Mason walked back to see a girl and a rabbit standing by the door. The tiny rabbit nestled in her palm, nibbling her finger with its puffy cheeks. The girl’s lips curved in a subtle smile, and her almond eyes carried a soft smile too. Her unstyled, seaweed-like long hair fell over her shoulders, making her look stunning even without makeup.
Aurelia looked up at Mason, "Having raised this little fellow for so long, at least it’s got some conscience; it knows it can’t bear to part with me, which is more than I can say for some people."
Mason didn’t ask who she was referring to, knowing in his heart; he walked over and took the rabbit from her hands, "If it can’t bear it, take it with us."
This surprised Aurelia, "We can take it?"
"During training, just leave it in the room. It won’t interfere with the training."
