The first strike, thrown out with all of her might did not even hit a single pin. It went over the pins, hitting the machines at the back.

"Meow," Scarlet said.

Hiss, a sound was made from her mother.

"Shut up." Mega added.

"Mother, don’t get angry, I am willing to teach you." Scarlet came over to her mother who looked very much unwilling to be helped.

She got a ball, and let it go smoothly. It rolled down the lane and took down all the balls like dominoes.

"See mother, you don’t need to be so rough, let it come to you." Scarlet spoke gently as if she was educating a child.

"I have got it." Mega declared.

Emulating Scarlet’s posture, she did exactly as her daughter had done. And it would have worked if she didn’t use too much strength. It was as if she was trying to kill the pins.

"Maybe we should try the difficult mode, in that section you can toss the balls as hard as you want because the pins are not in a straight line." Scarlet suggested.

"I agree." Mega said eagerly.

Once more, they got another escalator and went to a different section. Just as Scarlet had said, the lanes and pins here were not so down.

"Now this is more my speed." Mega cracked her knuckles just as Esong had done.

She also cracked her neck, and stretched her arms.

And the, right before Scarlet’s eyes, her mother turned into a small human tornado.

It was hit after it as she took down the pins like an assassin that was holding the biggest grudge against them in the universe.

From the side lines, Scarlet recorded and cheered her on.

Thirty minutes later, a bell rung and employees approached Mega applauding her. Her image was even on the big screen.

"Congratulations Lady Su,"

They said collectively and handed her a mini trophy.

Short of bushing, Mega hid her face behind the trophy. It had not been part of her plan to go crazy. But once she started, it was difficult to stop.

The thrill of picking a target, estimating the distance between herself and what she wanted to take out plus hurling the ball around and hitting the pins as they changed movement to avoid being hit reminded her so much of her hunting days.

She was an expert at taking out moving targets.

"Thank you." she replied.

After they left, she asked Scarlet, "What did you win?"

"A strength and precision test." Scarlet told her. "Should we go now and see how Esong is doing?"

Mega agreed and they took an elevator to the next floor.

When they found Esong, a crowd had formed around the impossible mode section. A bunch of lights were blinking on and off, a few bowling balls were crushed and many obstacles were on the ground.

Scarlet whistled and laughed.

"What did he do?" she asked her mother.

"I told you, they need to mecha proof the course or else this will happen again."

While people were taking pictures, they located Esong who making a payment with the manager of the bowling ball.

Scarlet heard the manager ask for one hundred fifty thousand star coins.

Good lord, that is a three year salary for some people. In some cases, for an entire family. How did he destroy property worth that much in such a short time.

"Hey," he smiled and pinched his nose.

"So, did you win?" she asked and guffawed.

"Eeeehhhhh," he moved his hand left and right. "Sort of." he added.

She raised both of her eyebrows and gave him a look that said, I don’t believe you.

Esong melted like ice cream and admitted the facts.

"Okay it was not my fault." he said first.

Then, he proceeded to regale them with the tale of the moving obstacles, his irritation and the use of a single mecha arm.

When he was finished, Mega was laughing so hard that she hunched over.

"They will probably add new rules now, no mecha warriors allowed." To Scarlet, they should have added it much earlier in fact.

"I want to climb the wall like a spider." Scarlet said.

Additionally, she raised her hand eagerly and stood on tip toes.

"Do they give awards for that too?" Mega asked.

Esong looked at Scarlet, "Explain."

"Later." she mouthed.

They had another one or two hours of fan to have before going home.

While she enjoyed her night out, Severus was on the hunt on the Sun star, following the smell and the strength of wind as his nose directed.

He was determined to catch whatever it was that was here without his permission.

The smell however kept moving, one minute it was on the Blue star and the next it was in the capital. It passed by the Red star and the Grey star.

He was also sure that he detected a whiff of it in the castle when the family was having breakfast earlier but he could not be certain who had carried it in.

At the moment, he was on the yellow star, teleporting form one city to the other.

Finally, he came to the outside of Ramslin’s house and howled.

The grim reaper he was looking for appeared instantly, as if they were connected by an invisible thread.

Curiosity filled Ramslin and he looked around the hound and felt the energy in the air.

"She is not here." Severus told him.

"I know that." Ramslin responded hastily.

Severus bared his sharp teeth at Ramslin and tripled in size. Suddenly, he towered over the reaper and stared down at him as if he was a puny bug.

"Psh, you can fool her boy but I have lived longer than you have. You are setting yourself as her ideal mate so that when her human husband dies you can swoop in and take his place."

Unbothered, Ramslin spread his arms out and said, "Or maybe she will come to her senses and stop playing house with the human when she sees that someone else can be better for her than he is.

Someone immortal, in the same line of work as her, someone who understands what and who she is.

With me, she will never have to hide who she is for any reason. If we have children, they will never have to die because they could be human.

With pride and armed with anger, Ramslin yelled at Severus.

In his mind he thought, that human got a reaper pregnant, he did something male reapers have failed to do with their partners. This one who was bragging, could he do it?
