Transmigration; A Mother's Redemption and a perfect Wife.-Chapter 59; Tinghao, where is mother?
Chapter 59: Chapter 59; Tinghao, where is mother?
Huo Ting Cheng gazed at the kids that were eating; he walked over to the hospital bed, opened a drawer, and got a soft handkerchief that was still new.
He picked up a bottle of water and unscrewed the top before wetting the handkerchief, dampening it. He placed the bottle of water back onto the top of the bedside drawer after closing it.
He bent over and gently dabbed the wet handkerchief on her lips trying to wet and moisturize them. They were dry and cracked up. He silently pitied her feeling heartache. If he hadn’t allowed Huo Zhihao to drag her over to the school, this wouldn’t have happened! He wished he had stayed firm.
After a few minutes, Huo Zhihao also woke up; Huo Tinghao was done having his breakfast, so he got up from the couch and walked to the hospital bed, looking at Huo Zhihao’s eyes that were wandering all over the place, looking unfocused.
"Tinghao, where is mother? How is she?" His voice was rough and cracked up. He felt his throat was dry and at the same time, he felt feverish with lightheadedness.
"Mother is okay, see... She is laying there on the hospital bed and even woken up but you were still asleep." He assisted him to sit up while gazing over to the other hospital bed where his mother was lying on looking like she was taking a nap.
"She woke up? Really? You aren’t lying to me, right?" Her eyes immediately brightened, hearing the good news. This is what he wanted for his mother. He wanted to hear she had gotten better.
"Yeah! I can’t lie to you..." Huo Tinghao adjusted the hospital bed so that he could lean comfortably while watching his Mother from his bed without getting down.
"Father, I think Zhihao is having fever, his hands are scalding! He had noticed his brother wasn’t looking well from his pale face skin, and his hands were a bit too warm for a normal body temperature.
"I’m fine..." His voice was coarse, and he didn’t want to receive more injections. The tranquilizer he received yesterday made him so feeble.
"No, brother, your body is burning; this ain’t normal!" Huo Tinghao has accompanied his sister since she was young and he knew when she was burning with fever and could tell it was exactly as how hot Huo Zhihao’s hands were now.
"Ahhh?" Sixth Master Huo was surprised, "Call the nurses who are in the corridor over to check up on him..." With his hand pointing toward the door, Huo Tinghao rushed over to the door, exiting, and there in the corridor, caught sight of the nurses who were pacing around aimlessly.
"Nurse, my brother seems to be having a fever... My Father said you come over and check up on him." He spoke up, and the moment the nurses heard that, they rushed into the wardroom and met Huo Ting Cheng, who had moved over to Huo Zhihao’s hospital bed, touching his chest to feel that body temperature and true, he was having a fever.
Huo Zhihao wasn’t feeling well and didn’t want to say much as he felt so feverish and dizziness kicking in.
Sixth Master Huo moved to the side and let the nurses check up on him while two other nurses came in with medicine. They checked his temperature, and it was high; they gave him an injection before attaching an intravenous drip to avoid dehydration.
They gazed at the other hand they were using in administering the intravenous infusion and noticed it was swollen. Yesterday, when he had a meltdown, he used both of his hands to uproot the flowers, and it could be the cause of the fever. They checked that wound and cleaned it up before bandaging it all over again.
