"You can open your mouth right? Because that’s the only way to eat unless you want the doctors to assist you in eating through the pipes!" He softly smirked looking at those closed eyes while she licked her lips.

Hearing the food pipe situation, she snapped her eyes open and opened her mouth as Huo Ting Cheng fed her the congee spoon by spoon.

She has never been fed in her life like this by someone else, how couldn’t she enjoy these moments? She gladly opened her mouth, and she just needed to do a little chewing here and there before swallowing. It wasn’t such a hard task to do.

"I want to eat something else! Not this porridge! It feels so bland!" She has missed eating something like sweet pork ribs, deep-fried spring rolls, sweet cakes, etc.

After feeding her the entire bowl, he got a face towel soaked in warm water and cleaned her face before cleaning her mouth with a mouthwash. Afterward, he applied some oil on her face and lips before preparing some warm honey water. He fed her a little bit of it before letting other content stay in the flask keeping it warm.

Tang Fei felt a bit better with a full tummy, she could now chat here and there. She wasn’t aching anywhere and her wounds had been re-addressed a few hours ago.

"You look exhausted and have dark circles around your eyes!" She coarsely spoke up gazing at those dark blue eyes that indicated his lack of sleep.

"Not really, I just haven’t had enough sleep! Do you want to sleep more? The doctors checked you a few minutes ago, so I don’t need to call them over again." They had indicated that all her vital signs were stable she was recovering very well, and even Huo Zhihao’s fever had gone down.

"I don’t want to sleep now! How are the kids? Huo Zhihao?" She turned around and could see Huo Zhihao tucked in that hospital bed while he was receiving intravenous infusion.

Wasn’t he getting better? Why did they add another intravenous infusion?
