"Mother?" They halted in their footsteps, gazing at their mother, who was smiling at that girl who was standing close by, and that immediately irked them. They heavily frowned scrunching their little faces up.

"I just broke that promise! From today onwards, you don’t need my protection, you have Daddy with you! The only person I need to protect is my mommy and these two siblings!" He was infuriated and hated for the fact that they were fighting their own siblings instead of understanding and acknowledging them.

"Can you all stop it?" Tang Fei tried to get off the bed, but she was too weak to even lift her hand; she wiggled her body and fell onto the floor roughly, and the sudden crash of things alerted the guards as the water jugs that were on top of the bedside drawer crashed onto the floor echoing into the hallway.

While the wrangling was going on, they couldn’t hear as the room had a soundproof wall.

Huo Ting Cheng was defeated before he could say anything; he just wanted to tell him to mind his health first; now, because of all this carelessness, blood was all over the white marble floor. What if he over-bled once again? What if he would need a blood transfusion? Their blood type was such a rare type that they had to be very cautious with it.
