Trapped In A Novel As The Breeding Mate For Four Powerful Alphas-Chapter 200: Just why did I kiss him?
Chapter 200: Just why did I kiss him?
(YAYYYYYY!!!! We’ve reached the 200th Chapter. This journey is going quite smoothly. I feel like a boss cat with shades and a cigarette in hand, lol. I’m out doing myself, honestly, and putting my all into this novel so I’m glad that you all got to this point with me. Thank you so much. I hope you continue to stick around.
Oh, and for the special episodes I was talking about, do you guys think we can hold them off until the weekends? School isn’t smiling at me, and I planned to release a lot of them at once, so I’ll be mass-releasing. I know my readers won’t have a problem with this but for all those who have been looking forward to it, I apologize and hope you enjoy what I have in store.)
"Surprise." He said. "Do you like teddies?"
The ’he’ was Min-Cheol. He smiled at me warmly as he tilted the pink teddy in front of me and I gulped.
That question should’ve been asked before he bought it, right? What if I say I don’t like teddies? Will he take it back?
Well, that won’t happen because I, even though I’ve never owned one before, seemed to like it, even though it felt like it was bigger and more fleshy than me.
I’ll show it who’s boss.
"Yes." I answered. "Is this... For me?" I asked, my cheeks lightly burning and his smile grew.
"Yes, Hyung. You’re always indoors these days because of all the unfortunate things that have happened so far." Tell me about it. "So, I was thinking a lot about what to get you to cheer you up." He said.
He didn’t really have to. I’m not exactly complaining about staying home alone. In fact, I like it because of how peaceful it is and how I can bury myself in the world of books.
Plus, I was writing the novel for Seo-Jun but I haven’t told him about it yet. I’ll present it to him when it’s done.
And then there’s at least one Alpha to make the day very ’interesting’ for me. So, I’m not bored.
"Then, did you get this for me as a companion?" I asked and he blushed, looking away as he scratched the back of his neck.
"Something like that." He said.
He’s adorable.
"I know you like shiny and expensive things, but for once, I thought..." His eyes slowly rolled towards me. "Maybe there are so many other things you might like as well. You’ve just not seen or experienced them to know what you like or hate. You were always on the run, and you said you lost your memories too, so..." He looked a bit out of it.
Shy? No, it was more than that. He was, um, help me out here guys. I don’t know the word.
Anyway, he was in-between shy and nervous.
He didn’t know if I would be offended and at the same time, he wanted to know if I liked his gift and his consideration.
I was impressed and grateful that he thought that far for me. He knew how to use his brain a lot, it seems.
"Thank you, Little Min." I said, walking closer. "You thought deeply about me and so I’m touched."
He was awfully busy this period because of the project they had been postponing for so long and yet, he took time out of his busy schedule to think of me and get me something I might like.
I’ve got to admit, the thought of it makes my heart flutter.
I took the teddy from him and stared at it. Maybe I don’t know all my likes and hates, as he said. So, it wasn’t a bad thing to try and explore.
I was never one to try new things just for the fun of it, and I didn’t have friends to bring about those new things either, so I was somewhat on still water. Not going forward or backward, just in one spot.
And you know what they say, still water rots.
I didn’t exactly rot but I didn’t get any productivity out of my bookworm behavior.
My life was just like that.
So, this was definitely a great idea.
I looked up from the teddy and smiled at Min-Cheol who had thought so deeply on my behalf.
"I love it, Little Min."
Seeing how happy I was, he equally smiled, his face reddening with a blush.
"I’m glad you love it, Hyung."
And out of habit, my masters put this on me with the recent ’activities’; nonetheless, I moved closer to him and kissed his lips.
It was something like a light lip-to-lip peck and nothing more but once I realized I made such a bold move, I panicked inwardly.
Just why did I kiss him?
Min-Cheol was as shocked as I was, so he stiffened up and could not even take the initiative to deepen the kiss or go further, and this almost made me laugh.
He was such a kid at times like this.
But let’s not forget how he cornered me with Ki-hoon and overwhelmed me, ahem. He’s not that much of a kid.
I immediately smoothed things to hide my awkwardness and claimed it was a reward.
"This is what you get for being so considerate," I said, moving back and he blushed, covering his lips with the back of his palm and looking away.
He loved this reward.
The teddy was big and soft. A nice companion in bed, if I do say so myself. And with this, I’ve gotten her another present from Min-Cheol.
"Hyung," he called, stepping closer. He had a little serious expression on his face, mixed with nervousness as he sought to say something that he wasn’t very confident in.
"What is it, Min-Cheol?"
"I know I can’t be your favorite, or the only one in your eyes but I wish to be someone who you can rely on. When it gets too tough for you," he dropped his hand on his chest. "Please don’t hesitate to depend on me because I will go to any lengths for you."
Wow, that’s so sweet. Saying something like that, I couldn’t view him as a kid anymore.
They grow up so fast.
I smiled and nodded.
"That’s so nice to hear," I said, my cheeks lightly burning. "Knowing you have my back at all times and would do anything for me, I... I can’t help but feel happy at heart."
Min-Cheol saw the warm smile on my lips and his heart skipped a beat.
He was once again captured by the brilliance of the Hyung he liked so much.
"Then, is this goodnight?" I asked, and he nodded, but not after he stepped closer and hugged me, his body pressing on the teddy.
"Yeah, goodnight." He said and kissed the top of my head, smiling warmly.
He stepped away and I stood there, staring at the blank space after he had left.
I clutched the teddy and then buried my face in it, blushing.
The teddy was so warm.
I closed the door and went to bed, holding the teddy that still had a faint scent of its master. I don’t know if that was the reason I was able to fall asleep quickly because I could’ve sworn my heart and head were in peril.
You could say I felt relaxed after hugging something that had Min-Cheol’s calming Pheromones.
So, I slept like a baby and woke up to a brand new day and an expectation for great things.
I can’t wait to watch my master’s play basketball. freёweɓnovel_com
So, I bruised my teeth, took my bath with the maids like always, and even asked if they wanted to spectate with me, but they immediately declined, saying they didn’t have such a privilege.
In other words, unless they were there to help, they wouldn’t go, right?
Hm, should I just deceive them that I need their help in between?
Sigh.
Let’s just forget it.
Breakfast was served and I saw them all in full spirit.
"The weather’s nice," Seo-Jun said and then grinned. "A nice day to shove defeat into your loser’s face."
And so, Seo-Jun began with his taunting.
I read somewhere that most people who taunt and try to provoke their competition, are those who are not a hundred percent confident in winning.
And because of that, they needed a way to rattle the minds of their competition, cause them to lose their cool and their cutting edge, and when they’re throwing a fit, acting without following the plan they had decided, the taunter would use this gap to win.
It happens in a lot of competitions but I don’t think Seo-Jun was taunting them to make them lose their cool.
He was such a jerk sometimes but there’s nothing he’s more confident in than himself. He’s such a narcissist, you know. He loves himself so much and considers all the things he puts his hand into as perfect.
He’s very confident when it comes to sex, but it doesn’t mean he won’t taunt the other masters for being so ill-informed about the human body and all the sweet spots.
He’s just that kind of person.
He will definitely taunt them for the fun of it and not because he’s not confident, but because he is very confident and knows he can stick to his words.
’Well, you can take the man out of his confident zone, but you can’t take the confidence out of the man. I guess the only way would be to crush that confidence.’ I thought, with my spoon hanging in my mouth and this brought me to laughter.
I laughed a bit and they turned to me, wondering what I found amusing but I shook my head and said,
"It’s nothing. I just..." I smiled. "Look forward to the game. Do your best, everyone."
