Ultimate Spin System: Ero Spin?-Chapter 115 - Solmara’s Flame
Lucas groaned and rubbed his temples. "Oh, for the love of—you enjoying that night too, did you?"
Lena smirked. "Mmm, that’s what you say. But my memory is a little fuzzy. Maybe I should—"
Lucas cut her off with a glare. "Lena. Stop."
She giggled but finally let it drop, though her victorious expression remained. Lucas knew arguing would get him nowhere, so he changed the subject.
"Whatever," he muttered, shaking his head. "Anyway, I think it’s time to refocus on why I came to this world in the first place."
Lena raised an eyebrow. "And that is?"
Lucas threw his hands up. "To relax. To enjoy my goddamn isekai vacation. Becoming an adventurer seemed fun, but since I have to be careful not to interfere with Zareth’s plans, I might as well take a break."
Lena tilted her head. "A break? From what?"
"From everything," Lucas said dramatically. "And besides, you’re the one holding all our money. I can’t even afford a decent drink without asking you first."
Lena’s lips curled into a knowing smile. "Oh, is that so?"
Lucas sighed. "Yeah, so... can I at least get a little spending money? I mean, I’m technically the one doing all the fighting."
Lena gave him a sweet—too sweet—smile. "Oh, I could give you some... but I won’t."
Lucas blinked. "...What?"
Lena crossed her arms. "If I give you money, you’ll just waste it at a brothel."
Lucas looked personally offended. "Excuse me? I have class!"
Lena’s stare was unimpressed.
Lucas coughed. "Okay, some class."
Lena didn’t budge.
"Alright, fine, I was considering visiting one, but only for cultural research!"
Lena scoffed. "Cultural research, my ass."
Lucas groaned. "Lena, I swear—"
"Nope. No gold, no silver, nothing," she said firmly. "I know you too well. You’ll get distracted by the first set of thighs you see and spend all night appreciating the local culture."
Lucas grumbled. "Unbelievable. So what, am I just supposed to starve?"
Lena smirked. "No, I’ll feed you. Like a responsible guardian."
Lucas looked genuinely horrified. "Lena, we are step-siblings, not mother and child."
Lena winked. "That’s fine. I like being in charge."
Lucas’s soul nearly left his body again.
"Kill me," he muttered under his breath.
Lena giggled. "Nope. You’re stuck with me."
Lucas sighed, rubbing his face. "You know, I think I liked it better when you were just my annoying little step-sister and not—whatever this is."
Lena leaned closer. "Oh? And what is this, Lucas?"
Lucas immediately leaned away. "Trouble. That’s what."
Lena laughed, clearly enjoying his suffering. "Well then, since you’re broke and I control all the finances, I guess that means you’ll be spending all your time with me."
Lucas sighed again. "This is a nightmare."
Lena smirked. "Nah. This is just karma."
Lucas groaned, but deep down, a small part of him knew—he was never escaping Lena’s grasp.
Ever.
Lucas exhaled heavily, trying to shake off his frustration. "You know what? I just want to enjoy the sights of this world."
Lena’s smirk widened instantly. "Oh? You mean sights like MILFs?"
Lucas blinked. "What? No!"
Lena crossed her arms, tilting her head with fake innocence. "Really? Because every time we enter a tavern, your eyes tend to wander toward the more mature women."
Lucas scoffed. "That is a blatant exaggeration."
Lena tapped her chin thoughtfully. "Hmm, let’s see... The innkeeper’s wife? That merchant lady from the potion shop? Oh, and let’s not the innkeper we got here, someone’s wife who—"
"Okay, okay, I get it," Lucas interrupted, rubbing his temples. "Look, I just want to take it easy. You know, climb a hill, sit on a big rock, and breathe in the fresh air like some wise samurai reflecting on life."
Lena snorted. "Wise samurai? You mean like those old guys who stare at the horizon while pretending to be deep?"
Lucas nodded. "Exactly. Just me, the wind, and the endless sky. A moment of peace."
Lena raised an eyebrow. "That sounds... unusually poetic for you."
Lucas shrugged. "Isekai changes a man."
Lena huffed. "Or maybe you’re just looking for an excuse to avoid work."
Lucas waved a hand. "Details, details."
Lena eyed him suspiciously but ultimately let out a sigh. "Fine. If you’re going to play the wise, brooding swordsman role, at least let me come with you."
Lucas frowned. "Isn’t the whole point of me-time that it’s, you know, me?"
Lena grinned. "Nope. You’re not escaping that easily."
Lucas groaned. "Of course not."
Lena grabbed his wrist, already dragging him along. "Come on, Samurai-san, let’s go find you a nice, dramatic rock to sit on."
Lucas sighed. "This is not what I had in mind."
Lena giggled. "Welcome to your isekai vacation, Lucas."

Lucas was just beginning to relax, enjoying the crisp air and the endless horizon, when a strange chill swept over the hilltop. The wind that had been gently caressing the grass suddenly stilled, as if the world itself had paused. The distant hum of the town below faded into an unsettling silence.
Lena frowned. "Did you feel that?"
Lucas opened his mouth to respond, but before he could, a figure emerged from the shadows of a nearby tree—a tall man draped in a flowing black robe, his hood pulled low over his face. His presence was unnatural, his movements eerily smooth, as if he had simply materialized from the air itself.
Lucas tensed immediately, his instincts screaming danger.
The hooded man stopped a few feet away, his posture calm yet authoritative. Then, in a voice that carried an unshakable weight, he spoke:
"Go north. Stand upon the cliff. Witness the battle. The lives of these people are not your responsibility. Leave. Do not interfere. If you interfere, judgment shall be upon you. There will be no darkness to strangle you, so long as your hands do not obstruct my noble purpose."
Lena gasped softly, her entire body stiffening. "What—what the hell?"
Lucas’s grip on his sword tightened instinctively. "Who are you?"
The man gave no answer.
Instead, his form shimmered—wavering like a mirage beneath the midday sun. And then, in the blink of an eye—he was gone.
Not a single trace remained. No footprints. No lingering energy. Nothing.
Lena spun on her heels, eyes wide with alarm. "Lucas, what the hell just happened?! Who was that?"
Lucas didn’t respond right away. His mind was working rapidly, trying to process the words.
The battle. Don’t interfere. Judgment.
And that last sentence—
There will be no darkness to strangle you... so long as your hands do not obstruct my noble purpose.
Lucas exhaled sharply, his pulse still erratic.
Lena looked at him, her expression a mix of worry and frustration. "Lucas, say something!"
He finally turned to her, his face unreadable. "We need to go."
Lena blinked. "What?"
Lucas’s eyes flickered toward the town below, where distant screams were beginning to rise. "North. The cliff."
Lena’s expression tightened. "Are you serious? That guy—he just threatened us!"
Lucas shook his head. "No. That wasn’t a threat." He glanced at her, his jaw set. "That was a warning."
And he had every intention of listening.
Lucas sprinted through the uneven terrain, his heart pounding—not from fear, but from an odd certainty guiding his steps. He didn’t know how, but his body moved with purpose, his feet carrying him swiftly through the narrow forest path as if he had always known the way.
Lena struggled to keep up. "H-Hey! How do you even know where we’re going?!"
"I don’t," Lucas admitted between breaths. "But I just... know."
It made no sense. Yet, within minutes, they arrived at the edge of the cliff. Below them, chaos unfolded.
The town’s defensive forces were locked in battle against an invading army clad in matching black garments, their movements eerie and unnatural. Lucas’s sharp eyes quickly caught the unsettling truth—these warriors weren’t ordinary soldiers.
Whenever one of them was cornered, their bodies dissolved into swirling black smoke, only to reform a split second later behind their opponents, striking them down with merciless precision. Their attacks were swift, unpredictable, and designed to instill fear.
The town’s forces were struggling.
Among the soldiers, voices began rising.
"Call the adventurers! We need reinforcements!"
Lucas narrowed his eyes as he watched a few adventurers charge into the battle. Swords flashed, spells crackled, but even with their assistance, the tide of battle was still in favor of the black-clad warriors.
Until she appeared.
A figure leaped into the fray, drawing everyone’s attention—including Lucas’s.
A woman with vivid, fiery red hair and a long claymore strapped across her back strode confidently toward the battlefield. She moved with a warrior’s grace, her presence commanding immediate respect.
Then, without hesitation—
She attacked.
With a single swing of her claymore, she sent a shockwave through the battlefield, blasting several of the black-clad warriors backward. They attempted to dissolve into smoke, but she was faster. Her blade moved like fire itself, tracing arcs of destruction through their ranks.
Lucas’s eyes widened.
The black-clad warriors couldn’t escape her.
Every time they tried to vanish, she was already there, anticipating their movements, striking them down before they could reform.
One by one, they fell.
Within moments, the tide of battle had turned.
The remaining enemies hesitated, realizing the hopelessness of their situation. And then—
They vanished.
All of them, their bodies dissolving into dark mist, retreating into nothingness.
The battle was over.
Lucas exhaled, watching the red-haired warrior as she casually swung her claymore onto her shoulder. Her golden eyes scanned the battlefield, ensuring there were no stragglers left.
Lena, still catching her breath beside him, followed his gaze. "...Who is that?"
Lucas didn’t answer. He wasn’t sure why, but he had a feeling—
That woman was important.
His thoughts were interrupted by a familiar presence.
The hooded man was back.
Lucas barely had time to react before the robed figure stepped beside him. As before, his presence was unnatural, as if he had materialized from thin air.
And then, in that same calm, unwavering voice, he spoke once more:
"If you dare fight alongside the Solmara’s Flame... The darkness will rise behind you and extinguish your hope."
