Ultimate Spin System: Ero Spin?-Chapter 77 - Being There
Lucas boarded the second train, settling into a seat by the window. The hum of the carriage and the faint chatter of other passengers created a subtle background noise as he sank into his thoughts. Pulling out his phone, he noticed a YoChat notification from Cindy.
Cindy: "Hey, Lucas, when are you getting home?"
He smirked slightly, typing back: "On my way now, almost there. Why?"
The reply came almost instantly, and when Lucas opened it, his eyes widened slightly. Cindy had sent a photo—her thigh, barely covered by a thin layer of fabric, the angle teasingly deliberate.
Cindy: "Just thought I’d give you a little reward for your existence. Maybe you’ll get a pic of my ass next time... after you ’pay your dues.’ 😉"
Lucas felt a flicker of excitement rise in his chest. His lips twitched into a small, guilty grin as he stared at the screen longer than he probably should have. Cindy’s teasing tone and brazen confidence always had a way of catching him off guard. The promise of her "reward" only made his anticipation grow.
His thumbs hovered over the keyboard for a moment before he typed back: "Deal. Guess I’ll have to do my best later, huh?"
He leaned back, feeling oddly amused and strangely eager about the whole thing. "Cum on feet," she’d said. The words echoed in his mind, and he chuckled quietly to himself. For all her chaos, Cindy knew how to get under his skin.
As his thoughts lingered on the idea, a sharp chime echoed in his mind, and a glowing holographic interface suddenly appeared in front of him. He jumped slightly, startled by the interruption. The familiar voice of his system broke through the stillness of the carriage.
[System Notification: WOW.]
A second message followed almost immediately, the words large and mocking, floating just inches from his face.
"Crook still a crook. You’re really going to cum on feet for personal gain, huh? Bravo, Lucas. A truly noble endeavor!"
Lucas’s expression twisted into an annoyed grimace. He glanced around quickly to make sure no one could see the glowing screen, though he knew it was only visible to him.
"Oh, come on," he muttered under his breath, keeping his voice low. "I’m not doing it for gain. It’s just... fun and for the sake of quest you gave."
The system’s text blinked out momentarily, then reappeared with a new message.
"Sure, ’fun.’ Because nothing screams integrity like trading feet pics for... other activities. Keep going, champ. You’re really making humanity proud."
Lucas groaned, running a hand down his face. "Tsk.. shut up."
The system ignored him, its text now flashing with exaggerated animations.
"Let me guess—you’re telling yourself it’s harmless, right? Oh, Lucas, the virtuous foot philanthropist."
"Alright, that’s enough," Lucas hissed, feeling his cheeks flush. "It’s not like I’m hurting anyone."
"Not yet," the system quipped. "But hey, who am I to judge? Crooks gotta crook. Just don’t come crying to me when this master plan of yours backfires."
Lucas shut his eyes, exhaling slowly through his nose. The system had a knack for getting under his skin in the worst way possible. "It’s not a master plan. It’s just..." He paused, realizing he didn’t have a strong defense. "It’s between me and Cindy. That’s it."
The system didn’t reply immediately, but the words on the hologram flickered, as if considering his response. Finally, a new message popped up:
"Whatever you say, Romeo. Just try not to embarrass yourself too much."
And with that, the holographic screen disappeared, leaving Lucas alone with his thoughts once again. He sighed heavily, leaning back into his seat and staring out the window as the scenery blurred past.
Despite the system’s constant jabs, Lucas couldn’t help but feel a flicker of amusement. Cindy had a way of keeping things... interesting, and even if the system thought it was ridiculous, he wasn’t going to let it ruin the moment.
After all, life was too short to take everything so seriously. At least, that’s what he told himself as he picked up his phone again and replied to Cindy’s latest message with a playful: "Can’t wait for that reward. You’d better keep your promise."
Lucas leaned back in his seat as the train rumbled along the tracks, his phone buzzing softly in his hand. Cindy’s teasing messages were still open, and though he smirked at her usual boldness, a part of him couldn’t shake the growing curiosity about her.
Before he could overthink it, another message popped up.
Cindy: "You know, Lucas... you’re different from the others."
He frowned slightly, his thumbs hovering over the keyboard. Cindy’s usual tone was flirty and playful, but this felt... different.
Lucas: "Different how?"
There was a pause—a rare moment when she didn’t reply immediately. When her response finally came, it caught him off guard.
Cindy: "You’re my first real friend. Like... IRL, I mean."
Lucas blinked, rereading the message a few times. He wasn’t sure what he’d expected her to say, but it definitely wasn’t that. Cindy, with her larger-than-life personality and seemingly endless confidence, didn’t seem like the type to struggle with friends.
Lucas: "Wait, seriously? You don’t have any other friends?"
Her reply came quickly, almost defensive: "I mean, I know people, but they don’t really know me. You’re... different. You actually talk to me like I’m a person, not just some... E-Girl or whatever."
Lucas stared at the screen, unsure how to respond. He could practically hear the vulnerability in her words, even through the text. It was strange, seeing this side of her—the girl behind the teasing and the games.
Lucas: "Well, I guess that makes me special, huh?"
Her reply came almost instantly: "Don’t let it go to your head, Bestie."
He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "Bestie." She’d started calling him that after one of their first conversations, teasing him for being too quick to grab at her bait. Somehow, the nickname had stuck.
Another message popped up.
Cindy: "But yeah... I guess I just wanted to say thanks. For, you know... being there."
