Universe’s Ultimate BOSS-Chapter 155: Loneliness of Invincibility
Chapter 155 Loneliness of Invincibility
In the No. 3 school of Western Brilliance University…
An arena had been established at the center of an enormous square full of students.
After days of competitions, Ling Xiao easily defeated all his opponents and was elected as the champion to fight Wang Hao. “Ling Xiao, I love you!”
“Ling Xiao, you are so handsome!”
“Ling Xiao, kill Wang Hao and let him know that the No. 3 school is not meek.”
“He’ll have to leave naked after deceiving us for our money…”
“Ling Xiao, go for it!”
While everybody cheered for Ling Xiao, Wang Hao came to the arena steadily. He had become a level-five Martial Master without any pressure after the training.
Qian Wanyang and Chen Yao carefully followed Wang Hao, each holding a flag in their hand, and Wang Hao had a smaller flagntoo.
Chen Yao’s flag said “I Do Whatever I Want.”
Qian Wanyang’s flag said “Western Brilliance University Is Garbage.”
As for Wang Hao’s flag, it said, “It’s Lonely To Be Invincible.”
“Boss, aren’t we a bit too arrogant?” Qian Wanyang sensed the coldness all around him, feeling that he might be beaten up any moment.
“Boss, we could just take the students’ money and leave. Why do we have to provoke them?” asked Chen Yao curiously, since provoking the students was not part of their plan.
“My plan was to win the money and leave, but since my grandmaster is here, I have to force him out so that I can use his name when I do bad things in the future.”
Wang Hao smiled. He did not know who the grandmaster who taught him the gait was, but the man must be associated with Western Brilliance University.
“Boss, you do not know who your grandmaster is?” asked Qian Wanyang curiously. He could not understand how Wang Hao did not know who his grandmasternwas.
“I really don’t know!”
Wang Hao shook his head. With his former self’s memories, he knew that his father was the Mighty Commander and had a lot of pharmaceutical knowledge. But there was nothing else.
That was perhaps why he was much more distinguished in pharmaceutics than his peers! Wang Hao thought to himself.
Qian Wanyang and Chen Yao looked at each other, both confused why Wang Hao did not know whom his father’s master was.
At this moment, when the students saw the flags in Wang Hao and his fellows’ hands, they all roared angrily.
“You’re too cocky! Do you know that you tricked us out of our money?”
“You’re saying that Western Brilliance University is garbage? Let’s beat the s*it out of him later!”
“Ling Xiao, don’t be courteous. Beat him up!”
Ling Xiao smiled bitterly in the arena, amazed by how great Wang Hao was at making trouble.
Ignoring all the curses, Wang Hao asked Ling Xiao in the arena, “Why is my grandmaster not meeting me?”
Ling Xiao was not surprised. He knew that the Light Gait he used during the competitions couldn’t have escaped Wang Hao’s attention.
“Wang Hao, there is a reason why he doesn’t want to see you,” Ling Xiao said politely.
Wang Hao snorted. “I think he simply doesn’t want to give me the greeting gift, isn’t that so?”
Ling Xiao was so embarrassed that he did not know how to respond. His junior brother was truly… unconventional!
“Right, what’s my grandmaster’s title?”. Wang Hao’s eyes glowed. As long as he learned of his grandmaster name, it wouldn’t matter whether he could meet the man or not.
Ling Xiao shook his head. “Master said that he wouldn’t reveal anything to you until you became a Martial King.”
“Interesting!” Wang Hao scratched his chin, knowing that those seniors were trying to make him grow without counting on them.
Also, Wang Hao knew that their identities were top secret, and that he couldn’t find out anything about them.
After he learned that he had a grandmaster, he searched for his old man online.
However, he found nothing about Wang Tianyi’s master except that Wang Tianyi studied at Empyrean North University.
He knew what happened after seeing that his grandmaster was a Martial Saint on Tianming.
According to the files he found, the Universal Federation had classified the identities of the Martial Saints.
Martial Saints were essentially nuclear weapons. If the details of the nuclear weapons were publicized, the enemy would have plenty of time to consider how to deal with them.
To avoid that, the files on the Martial Saints were kept confidential, and civilians had no access to them.
Of course, some Martial Saints had become public figures to deter the enemy, but neither of Wang Hao’s grandmasters were among them.
“Wang Hao, I would like to fight you for real,” said Ling Xiao solemnly.
“Fight me for real?” Wang Hao looked at Ling Xiao in confusion.
“That’s right. We’ll use no high-tech weapons, no military weapons, but only alloy weapons.” Ling Xiao looked at Wang Hao solemnly.
“What’s in it for me?” asked Wang Hao.
“Cough, cough…” Ling Xiao almost choked. Why was everything about returns? Couldn’t two people just have a fight to help each other grow?
Taking a long breath, Ling Xiao calmed himself down and said, “I have a level-four omnipotent suit. I’ll give it to you whether I win or lose as long as you have a battle of cold weapons with me.”
“A level-four omnipotent suit?” Wang Hao’s eyes glittered.
The omnipotent suit could be used as a bulletproof vest, a Stealth Cloak, and an energy shield launcher. It could even simulate muscles and double one’s combat ability, except that the person would be weakened later.
Also, a level-four suit could easily resist a Martial King without any problem. Such a suit was definitely invaluable.
“All right, you got it.” Wang Hao nodded and picked up his level-five alloy sword.
“Wang Hao, take care!”
Ling Xiao drew a sword, which brimmed with coldness after a chirp.
Seeing that they were both ready for battle, all the students grew excited.
“Go for it, Ling Xiao!”
“Ling Xiao, teach Wang Hao a good lesson!”
Hua Zixu was watching the game wholeheartedly in the dean’s office, eager to find out the extent of Wang Hao’s growth in the past few months.
“Boy, it’s been a few months. Have you grasped Old Wu’s Hua Zixu or not?” Hua Zixu murmured in expectation…
