He would know if Calvin was a responsible man or not by whatever he chose to do.

"Thank you, I’m grateful to you for being there for Shayna. You have been a good friend" Calvin appreciated.

"I will ask for leave at work. I will take Shayna home,I will take good care of her until she is well" he professed.

Calvin’s promises made it seemed he wanted to make up for leaving Shayna all these days.

He wanted to make his wrongs right.

He was guilty though but he had made a good choice which showed he was a good man.

The best thing was to make corrections after making a mistake. The most important thing was Shayna’s health.

And that’s the best method, bringing her home.

Calvin must have made up his mind before meeting Murray.

Murray was impressed. he gave Calvin the hospital address right away.

Calvin couldn’t wait to pick Shayna. The Director of the hospital came to him

Murray had already called him that Calvin was coming

The director of the hospital filled all necessary documents as directed by Shayna and Calvin.

Calvin couldn’t hide his sadness as he saw Shayna. He really loved her deeply.

"Don’t worry , you will recover in no time. And nothing bad will happen to our child" he promised her

"Murray said the baby is fine. We will take care of the baby together once you are back in shape" he continued.

Shayna’s eyes lit up in happiness.

Calvin was excited to see Shayna face gleamed. All thanks to Murray.

He wanted it to remain this way. Both of them happy together.

"I will stay with you everyday. I will provide whatever you want and assist in anything you want to do" he spilled joyfully.

"And you will be back in your entertainment businessafter you recover. You will tell your fans about our baby" he couldn’t hide his happiness.

Shayna’s face became gloomy. She must have been irritated by his words.

Calvin quickly stopped and comforted her. He wouldn’t want their newly found joy to disappear so fast.

He quickly planned how to retract his words and be very cautious. He only wanted her to be happy.

He wouldn’t spew any more nonsense.

"You will soon have our child. We will be a family and we will be happy" he continued

Shayna nodded and sighed. The words seemed to have gotten to her hearts as her face brightened up

"Murray and Melissa are looking forward to you being hale and hearty. Melissa is sick. We need to pay them a visit" he suggested.

"I’ve thanked them already but we wil stilll visit them when you get better. We will go together" he concluded.

"Melissa is sick? I want to see Melissa, I have to see her" Shayna mumbled

Calvin knew she was nagging but he liked the way she spoke at least. She had only said few words since he picked her up.

It seemed Melissa’s name was what moved her to talk.

Calvin was happy to know that

"Then let’s be quick. I will cook something for you. You will go to bed after eating. You have to refresh your body for tomorrow" he advised

"Once we have our baby. I will take you to the horizon. We will watch the stars together. We will enjoy life together" he promised.

He wouldn’t make theistake of mentioning her fans or whatever could trigger her thoughts about the netizens

He wouldn’t say anything about her career. He didn’t want to see her sad anymore.

Shayna only nodded with smiles as he kept making unending promises.

Since that day, Calvin had been keeping his promises and Shayna’s health improved greatly.

She had started speaking much whenever Calvin talked to her and there were times when she initiated the conversation

Shayna was only keeping quiet back then because she was frightened and depressed.
