Venerable Demon King & The Doting Immortal (QT)-Chapter 170: What a flirt
Chapter 170: What a flirt
Yang Zhi’s vision blurred as he touched his crooked nose, blood streaming through his trembling fingers. The pain was sharp, but the humiliation cut deeper more especially in front of the woman of his dreams. How could he live with it if he lost face? "You... you," he stammered, his voice shaking with rage and desperation. "Teach him a lesson for me!"
Xiang Yu’s lips curled into a sly, vile smile, his eyes glinting with a sinister light. His presence was oppressive, a dark cloud that made the two men hesitate, their confidence wavering. Yang Zhi, bleeding profusely onto the floor, screamed again, his teeth stained with blood. "What are you waiting for?"
One of the men, summoning his courage, clenched his fist and lunged forward. Xiang Yu moved with lethal grace, his kick landing squarely on the man’s chest. The force sent him staggering back, crashing into the thick glass door. He clasped his chest, grimacing in pain, blood trickling from the corner of his lips, his mind buzzing with shock.
The other man, eyes wide with fear, pulled out a pocket knife, the same one they used to shake small shop owners for protection money. With a pathetic war cry, he thrust the knife towards Xiang Yu. But Xiang Yu was faster, dodging the attack and grabbing the man’s arm. His eyes were cold, frosty, filled with disdain. He twisted the arm with a sickening crack, the man’s shrill cries echoing through the room, sending shivers down the spines of the onlookers.
Xiang Yu shoved the man towards the glass door. With a resounding bang, he fell to the ground, clutching his broken arm, tears mingling with the blood on his face. The room fell silent, the oppressive aura of Xiang Yu’s presence lingering like a dark shadow.
The first man who had attacked stood up and rushed over with a glare, but he was suddenly kicked, Xiang Yu’s heel meeting his face with a brutal force. Blood splattered, and two teeth were sent flying. Yang Zhi couldn’t accept it. He couldn’t accept being embarrassed in front of Sister Meng, but he was no match for him.
"You will pay, I will make you pay," Yang Zhi spat, trying to run away. But Xiang Yu suddenly grabbed him by the back of his collar and put him in a chokehold. Yang Zhi flared his arms and tried to free himself, but it was useless. Xiang Yu leaned in, whispering in his ear, "Do you see this?"
Yang Zhi glanced at the tattoo on Xiang Yu’s arm. It was a tattoo of a blood-red koi with demon eyes, swimming upstream. Yang Zhi suddenly trembled, and Xiang Yu smirked, his dark gaze meeting Yang Zhi’s at the corner of his eyes. "Since you know what it means, don’t fuck with me," Xiang Yu whispered, the threat in his voice obvious. "Do you understand?"
Yang Zhi nodded frantically, and Xiang Yu said, "Good boy," before pushing him away. The three of them ran out of the shop like their butts were on fire. In a frantic haze, one of them even fell on a pile of trash, spilling it everywhere.
Xiang Yu stepped out and called, "Hey, come back." The three men, who were about to run off to their car, walked back, trying to look not as terrified as they were. Xiang Yu pointed at the trash and said, "Pick it up." The garbage truck was already down the street, yet the garbage was now scattered on the ground. They obediently picked up the trash can and put the trash back inside. Xiang Yu watched them with his arms crossed on his chest. If anyone saw this scene, they would think he was a bully.
Xiang Yu watched the three men finish picking up the trash, their faces pale and sweaty. They bowed to him, a gesture of reluctant submission. "Get lost," Xiang Yu commanded, his voice cold and dismissive. The men scrambled away, their footsteps echoing down the street.
Across the road, a young man from the bakery stared at Xiang Yu, his eyes wide with a mix of curiosity and fear. Xiang Yu arched an eyebrow, recognising the face but not the name. He lifted his hand to wave, but the young man darted back inside as if fleeing from a monster. Xiang Yu chuckled softly, amused by the reaction, before turning back into the shop.
Unbeknownst to him, a heavily tinted SUV was parked just a few feet away, its occupants watching intently. Han Xin sat in the back seat, his eyes sharp and calculating, while Han Zhan lounged beside him, a smirk playing on his lips. "Isn’t that the Qi clan’s boys he is bossing around?" Han Zhan asked the driver.
"Yes," the driver replied. "But they are just arrogant brats. Apart from harassing small businesses, they are usually harmless. This isn’t their usual hunting grounds."
Han Zhan’s brow furrowed as he glanced at the bakery. "And who is that?" he asked, referring to the young man standing outside the bakery. fгeewebnovёl.com
They watched as the young man blushed and disappeared inside. Han Zhan chuckled, shaking his head. "What a fucking flirt... I thought Xiang Yu was straight. I guess he flirts with anything with legs." Han Xin glanced at the bakery, rubbing his upper lip thoughtfully. He couldn’t quite understand how Xiang Yu was a flirt, but he didn’t bother asking.
"Wait, wait, wait... who is that tall glass of water?" Han Zhan’s voice was filled with sudden interest as he sat up. He was talking about the stunning lady who had just walked out of the tattoo parlour, her presence commanding attention. Xiang Yu held the door for her, and she touched his arm affectionately, smiling at him as if he were a rare star in the sky.
She said something, and Xiang Yu responded with a charming smile. The woman, seemingly under a spell, almost bumped into a nearby post. Xiang Yu reached out swiftly, preventing her from falling. She blushed deeply, running her fingers through her hair before finally walking away, her steps hurried and flustered.
It was like watching the start of a Hallmark small-town romance movie. Han Zhan couldn’t help but comment, "This man has got game. At this rate, he just needs to smile, and they would drop their panties... or briefs. He doesn’t even need to go to the Pink Cher—"
Before he could finish, Han Xin cut him off. "Let’s go inside."
