Villain's Survival: SSS Class Infinite Copy Eyes-Chapter 41. Crimson Frenzy (2)
Chapter 41: 41. Crimson Frenzy (2)
"So sweet...~"
Licht snarled at Riven’s endless madness as He twisted his body and leapt forward, and brought the full weight of his sword down onto Riven’s skull, but
Crack!
Licht’s sword shattered, sending fragments of steel in every direction like deadly confetti as Lightning arced and fizzled into the air.
Licht stumbled back now, panting as he held only a broken hilt in his hand
’He’s finished now’, thought Riven in delight
But just as Riven was about to attack, he paused.
This was not out of fear but out of... curiosity
He paused because he was watching something change within Licht’s body.
At that moment, Licht’s veins glowed faintly beneath his skin, purple and blue at first, then a deep, boiling red. His mana seemed to go berserk, shifting around erratically as it set all the blood in his body alight.
As the painful yet pleasurable burning sensation tore through his body Licht’s expression twisted into something feral.
「Infinite Copy Eyes 」 observation has reached 100%
『Blood Mana Style – Crimson Frenzy』- COPIED.
"Heh... finally..."
Blood steamed from his skin as the transformation completed.
His flesh didn’t just strengthen, no, it burned from within.
When Riven saw Licht’s expression, he felt like he was looking into a mirror, which made his eyes widen in delight
"You copied me, that’s great! Now we really can be friends~~"
Licht didn’t speak, but his blood boiled, causing Riven’s to do the same as they charged straight at one another.
Boom!
The two of them met in the centre of the roof with a shockwave.
Fists. Elbows. Knees. Bites.
They tore into each other with no grace or discipline, just pure bloodlust and instinct.
It was a feral brawl. Bone to bone. Flesh to flesh.
Riven’s claws raked across Licht’s ribs, slicing into muscle.
Licht responded with a vicious headbutt, breaking Riven’s nose.
CRACK!
Blood gushed.
But instead of backing down, the two madmen just laughed.
Licht slammed his knee into Riven’s thigh, staggering him, then drove his elbow into his jaw.
Bang!
Riven’s head snapped back as he fell to the ground, but somehow, mid-fall, Riven had twisted his body and grabbed Licht’s collar, dragging him down to the floor with him.
Once they reached the ground, the already messy fight turned even more ferocious
They rolled across the rooftop, punching, biting, and slashing. Each blow landed with wet, bloody force.
They were no different from monsters now.
Wounded, blood-soaked, half-smiling beasts locked in combat beyond reason.
Riven’s claws slashed, and Licht’s fists roared.
Neither held back nor backed off.
In the bloody struggle, Licht had somehow managed to kick Riven off of him and get to his feet. Riven tried to get up and follow suit, but that’s when Licht struck
An overhead punch collided with Riven’s face like a divine hammer, flattening him into the rooftop as the Stone roof beneath him shattered.
Licht stepped back, his arm still raised, whilst his chest kept rising and falling like a beating war drum.
"Now it’s finally—"
But before the words finished, A hand clamped around Licht’s wrist.
"Still... not... done."
Riven’s voice was just a guttural growl now. When suddenly, his legs snapped up, coiling around Licht’s arm like constricting serpents.
A Flying armbar.
In one terrifying instant, Riven spun his body, dragging Licht with him, and slammed them both into the ground, his thighs locked tight around Licht’s trapped arm.
"GHH!"
Licht’s shoulder twisted unnaturally as he felt his tendons coil.
Riven laughed.
"Break for me, Licht. Come on, just one good snap!"
Riven leaned into the lock, grinning with glee the entire time like a cat watching with a trapped bird.
Licht’s knuckles slammed into Riven’s face. Once, twice, and many more times, but Riven still didn’t let go.
He licked his teeth, now chipped, and delighted in his blood dripping down his face.
The pain was unbearable.
Licht’s body began to tremble as his mana surged in frenzy.
And that’s when it happened.
ROOOAAR!.
A primordial roar echoed across the rooftop, shaking the very air.
Licht’s eyes widened, and his blood ignited.
From within his chest, an ancient silver scale pulsed, causing a silver light to burst open like a blooming flower.
A spectral silver dragon erupted from Licht’s body, its form coiling around him like a divine guardian.
Scales of divine light snapped into existence around Licht’s trapped arm, forming a glowing gauntlet.
Dragon Soul Guard (S) — Activated.
The pressure on his joint suddenly vanished, completely nullified by the divine scales.
Riven blinked in shock.
"What the fu—"
But before he could finish his sentence, the dragon’s roar intensified, rattling his bones.
Hearing the sound of his dragon soul, Licht’s eyes lit with clarity.
The Madness generated from Riven’s technique was partially purged. And he could finnly fight properly again.
"Thanks for helping me regain myself," said Licht as he stroked his silver dragon
Now he was sober, Licht had no intention of rolling around with Riven.
「Dragon’s Roar」
In that moment, all Licht’s accumulated pain and stored damage were released.
The bloody silver scales over his arm shattered, and a dragon’s maw formed from energy and light slammed down on Riven’s head.
BOOOOOM!!
The rooftop exploded
Dust and broken tiles sprayed outward in a cyclone of chaos as Riven’s body slumped in a crumpled heap,
When the smoke cleared, Riven lay in a pool of his blood.
His body twitched once. Then stilled.
Licht stood above him, chest heaving, eyes dull.
His blood still boiled, and his arm still throbbed, but the madness he felt was gone.
Yet strangely enough, for the first time in a long while...
Licht, both in body and mind, felt truly liberated
’Haha I’m fucking gone crazy, ’ thought Licht
’To think I would think of this as liberating’
It was strange, but even though it was driven by subconscious madness, Licht didn’t run into conflict with any of his personality traits. All those actions were well and truly his own.
But that feeling of liberation didn’t last long.
Licht stood amid the wreckage and glanced around at the broken walls and the shattered tiles, and felt a wince in his chest.
