Way of Overlord-Chapter 332: The Chief of Kazan
Chapter 332: The Chief of Kazan
This kind of alliance is hard to see and even harder to emulate in the Great Steppe where there is complicated relationship between tribes.
And it is because of all of these reason that everyone was paying attention to the tripartite alliance and why it makes everyone scared.
The Cha Ner Ul Alliance, the alliance of three tribes has now pose a great threat to any chief that wanted to expand in the west.
Cutting from the middle of the western sphere to the north upper part of the Southern Great Steppe, these three tribes could divide the Southern Great Steppe toward the west and east.
The plan of the Cha Ner Ul alliance is probably to split the Southern Great Steppe into two forces.
Who will win and who will lose?
In this time and era of great competition between the chief, who can and who dares not to compete?
The strong will become stronger.
The weak will perish.
Now, the chessboard has been laid out.
And in this troubled times, if you don’t contend you will die and you will perish
But whoever wins, and whoever lose, the history of the Steppe would change from then on. Because after they decide who wins and losses, the winner would have the force to unify the Steppe.
And that would be a feat that has not been reached for hundreds of years
Forged by these battles, unified by a common pain, after the dust settles and ashes of the battel subsides, the Steppe would be like new grass that rises up after a great fire, like a phoenix rising from the ashes, like new sprouts after a great flood.
It would become stronger.
And determined.
And some people is waiting for that moment.
the stargazes, the destiny talker, the historians and storytellers that had seen this kind of matter and these kind of stories too many times
Waiting for the right moment when the wolves are all united! And then.....then...they will hunt!
And while the whole Southern Great Steppe is setting up bets and warriors chooses their master, chief chooses their rivals, in the Utgard tribe today, an honoured guest had come.
Standing on horseback, he enters the area of the Utgard tribe. not far away from him is his entourage, around a thousand warriors.
And surrounding him, is the warriors of the Utgard.
When he arrives at the Utgard tribe area, these escorts finally let up and returns ahead to inform their chief about his arrival.
Who is this person that would command so much attention.
This one is coming to meet with the Utgard tribe chief, Garron the Viper.
As for his identity....he is the chief of the Kazan.
But this chief of the Kazan is not the same chief of Kazan that Garron had met before.
This is the new chief of Kazan, young and heroic, full of muscle and there is a valiant air around him. He has those Eresian braids on his hair, and his face is pronounced showing some pronounced ancestry of Eresian.
Blue eyes with a hint of a blonde hair, the ancestry of the Eresian is unmistakable.
This is the new chief of the Kazan, Ayuka Son of Tawakka.
His name did not yet reach the level like Aeryon or Belarion.
Ayuka knows this
"Fame is not enough" he thought to himself.
When Aeryon started his journey and made his name in the Steppe, everyone called him Aeryon the Son of Rakarys.
Some of those that did not believe in his ability even called him greenhorn and some called him a boy that ahs not yet weaned from his mother teat
That is only in the beginning. Whatever doubts and disdain they had about him disappears as he bares his fangs to all those who dare disobey.
When he conquer more tribes, people called him a Conqueror.
But when he controls almost all of the lower southern Great Steppe, people began calling him Kan of the Southern Great Steppe, none dares disobey, with him in the battlefield who can possibly compete!
Kan is a Great Chief that controls many tribes and could lead tens of thousands of warriors and even though there is no longer a Qayans in the Steppe, most people still uses the title of the Steppe Empire of the past.
To them Aeryon is worthy to be called a Kan.
But since it is not acknowledged by all people of the Southern Great Steppe, most people rarely uses this title if they are not in the area of the Brolgadhr tribe.
Then there is Belarion.
Belarion before the battle is not known by most chief of the Southern Great Steppe.
But after the battle between tribes and the stellar performance of Belarion in each battle, people began noticing that Belarion, this person is a person born with innate strength.
No one expected that the Brolgadhr tribe has always had a character like Belarion in their midst.
If Belarion was utilized by the tribe in the past, how could the Brolgadhr tribe is pushed around and was forced even to flee the Great Steppe?
Whatever the case the Southern Great Steppe now know of Bela iron and he is called Belarion the War God Incarnate.
Why?
Because he is like a force of nature.
His strength is unrivalled.
The reason why Aeryon could quickly expand his tribe and conquer so many small tribes in the beginning relied on not only in his strength and bravery, but also because of Belarion overwhelming force that mows all resistance.
Aeryon choose to defeat the weak, integrate the weak and then defeated the strong.
And that effect snowballed and before they know it, the Brolgadhr tribe has become a very potent force in the Southern Great Steppe.,
This method...has no one ever thought of it?
They did.
After all, in the Steppe, Aeryon is not the only chief in the Steppe that has someone who is born with innate strength.
Even though it is not as many as the other part of the great Steppe, there is still some tribes that also have people born with innate strength.
Then one might ask, if that is the case, why does no one did what Aeryon did?
The answer is simple. It is not that they don’t want to. It is they cant. And those who try have failed and discouraged the others.
It is funny....but sometimes this has to do a lot with destiny, fate and fortune.
The reason why Aeryon succeeded and the other did not is precisely because the other tribe did not know about Belarion.
Before they were hit by the Brolgadhr tribe, they did not know that the Brolgadhr tribe has someone of Belarion calibre.
Some small tribes knew but since Belarion has never attacked and mostly a harmless person, even the other tribes has thought that Rakarys has dulled the fang of this beast.
Was Rakarys biding his time?
Or was he simply a benevolent chief that wanted the best for Belarion?
Who knows?
Since he dies, no one would know the real truth hidden in his heart.
But, it is this lack of information that enable Aeryon to achieve what the others could not.
In the Great Steppe, as long as a person born with innate strength is deployed in battle, the other chiefs and the other tribes would quickly create countermeasures.
They would pay attention to this person born with innate strength.
Or to be more thorough, they would suppress this person even before it could rise. If not for the Ashana interference in this matter, most children born with innate strength would be strangled in the cradle even before they could grow up
Then if this tribe with the innate strength person wanted to expand, all the tribes would allied with each other and destroy this tribe.
because when a sheep is around a lion, none of them could sleep peacefully.
And the existence of a person with innate strength is like this.
They are like a lone lion among a flock of sheep.
And this flock of sheep would not just let this lion keep threatening them
This is the countermeasures o the small tribes.
They would not allow the tribes with an innate strength warrior to just wantonly conquer them
And it work for a long time. But it also weakens the Great Steppe when they have to fight against the invaders from the three directions of the Steppe.
Of course, this situation is unique to each part of the Steppe.
The North encouraged cooperation between the tribes so they did not have a policy of weakening tribes with innate strength child.
The Western Great Steppe is also the same.
The only region of the Steppe that practise this method is the Southern Great Steppe.
Not only because it benefited the chiefs, it is also something encouraged by the Western Zhou and Yan to keep the barbarians on the north of the border weak.
Aeryon on the other hand was lucky.
When he defeated the Ghar and Xewa tribe, he uses speed to quickly subdue the tribes around him and before the other tribes could create a countermeasure, Aeryon not only have an innate strength warrior to help him, he also have a lot of warriors and horsemen.
By the time they could organize themselves, it is already too late.
