The monster straightened herself again, settling her featureless gaze on us as it prepared for its next attack.

Odeta also stood up, dusting herself off while Ira and Tsara flanked her.

My Amrap lover punched her fists together, "Wahahaha! Seems like I really need to get serious!!"

Ira scowled, "Are you telling me you were still taking it easy?"

Tsara hummed, "I think you are the last person to even say that. You weren’t going at it seriously either."

"Ha? Same goes for you as well! You were holding back because you were afraid that if that thing dies too fast, you can’t show off!!"

"I have no idea what you’re talking about."

I cleared my throat, "Ahem... We’re still in the middle of a fight here, girls"

The monster decided to jump towards us at that exact moment, raising her fist to punch forward at us.

Odeta was the first to respond as she leapt in front of the monster, already prepared to take the brunt of the blow.

I knew she wouldn’t be able to withstand the full brunt of the blow so I quickly cast [Strength] and [Body Current] on her, getting my Shadow Guards to do the same as well.

It seemed like I just managed to make it in time as her fist crashed against the monster’s in an earth shattering boom. But unlike the previous time, she only slid back a few feet instead of flying back like before.

Ira and Tsara also recovered and rushed towards the monster, both of them punching at her at the same time.

I frowned at the sight, wondering if there was a reason why both of them were just limiting themselves to only using physical attacks.

Actually... Now that I think about it... Both of them have been doing their best not to use their magic ever since we entered this Dungeon.

Even the attack earlier was only relying on their physical strength and not a scrap of magic could be felt.

I have a feeling this had something to do with what Odeta told them back at the inn...

Their fists smashed against the chest of the monster and it also skidded back a few feet before it stopped, two fist imprints now prevalent on its chest.

Not giving it any time to recover, Odeta quickly followed up with a kick to its chest, this time sending it rolling away from us.

"Sister Aster!!" She cried out, kicking off the ground to jump towards it.

I buffed her again, this time doubling the buffs that I had layered on her before.

The monster ’saw’ Odeta rushing towards her getting ready to punch at her once more, my Amrap lover wrapped in a cloak of electricity as she buffed herself with her own magic as well.

She responded by crossing her arms in front of her to defend herself, right as Odeta smashed her fist into her.

I watched as the monster was flung back, the monster skidding several metres back as her feet drew sparks along the ground.

The Challenger lowered her arms, revealing that one of her arms was broken from defending against Odeta’s attack.

Odeta groaned and stumbled a step back, feeling the backlash from all the buffs layered on her.

I already knew first hand how uncomfortable it was to have too many buffs layered on a person so I quickly used [Heal] on her to lessen the effects.

While Odeta was still recovering, the monster rushed towards her, raising her remaining fist up into the air.

Ira stepped in front of Odeta, pulling back her fist as well in preparation to strike against the monster.

But before she could launch her own attack, Tsara leapt out to appear beside the monster, her foot flying in an arc towards the monster.

I managed to use my [Strength] buff on her before her heel smashed against the side of the monster’s head.

While the monster did not fly away like how she did when struck by Odeta earlier, the blow was enough to cause her to pause in her tracks and stumble a little to maintain her balance.

Ira clucked her tongue in annoyance at being interrupted before she kicked off the ground to jump at the monster.

I did the same thing with her as well, buffing Ira with a layer of [Strength] as well.

The monster lifted her remaining good arm and tried to block Ira from hitting her, only for the blow to send her skidding back as well.

Ira looked down at her hands for a moment and I thought she was hurt until she let out a laugh, "Ha... Ha ha... Ha ha ha!!! I see!! I understand now! AHahahahaha!!!"

She leapt towards the monster again and I immediately buffed her again, this time layering two more [Strength] buffs on her before she reached the monster.

She threw out several punches and kicks at the monster, striking it from several directions and forcing the monster back.

Tsara looked annoyed and also jumped in, prompting me to also buff her as well.

Odeta was obviously not going to just sit back and watch as she let out a roar of challenge before she charged in as well.

I got to see three girls quite literally punch and kick at the monster, beating it back step by step.

The monster was already having trouble defending herself from three attackers at once and the fact that she only had one usable arm was not helping things in the slightest.

During the exchange, the monster managed to land a few hits on her three attackers but they were quickly patched up by my [Heal] spell.

I don’t know why though... But Ira was just laughing harder and harder as the fight went on, making me wonder if she was more of a battle maniac than Odeta was.

The three girls surrounded the monster and started beating her to the ground, not even letting it fight back.

I timed my buffs on them so that they were striking the monster with their full strength, each of their blows sending quakes through the ground.

Eventually, the three of them stopped beating the monster and took a step back, revealing the monster that was completely beaten to death.

Odeta turned to the two girls, "So... What do you think?! What did I tell you?"

Ira laughed, "Ahahahaha!! I suppose I should thank you for this! I was still skeptical at first... But now that I have experienced it myself, I have to admit that you are right about it!"

Tsara also nodded, "I agree as well. I have to thank you for convincing me to tag along on this Dungeon too."

"Wahahaha! I told you so!!"

The three of them turned to smile at me.

Also, this was apparently the last floor so we have officially completed the Dungeon.

Orbs of light then appeared above us before they materialised into our dungeon clear rewards.

For Odeta, it seems like she received some kind of dumbbell which I found really ironic since she already has several of them.

Ira got a sword which she looked at with disdain since she clearly didn’t need it and Tsara received a bracelet which seemed to be made of gold though I’m not sure if it had any enchantments.

As for me, I got a pair of vambraces which were just normal, unenchanted vambraces made of iron which I also didn’t really need.

In the end, I gave them to Odeta since she would have more use for it than I do and she seemed really happy about it for some reason. 𝘧𝓇ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝘣𝓃ℴ𝓋𝑒𝑙.𝑐𝘰𝑚

Hmm... If we went to enchant the vambraces, it could actually function as a good defensive equipment for her... Guess that’s something to think about.

After we were done cutting up the boss monster for its parts, we stepped onto the magic circle and got teleported outside of the Dungeon.

Looking around, it seems like it was still quite early in the day so we barely spent much time clearing the Dungeon at all.

I guess that wasn’t surprising considering how small the Dungeon was and we had Odeta to lead us through it anyway.

I stretched my arms over my head before turning to the three girls, "What now? The day is still early... Unless we call it a day here?"

Odeta grinned and looked at the other two, "There’s another Dungeon that’s just a quick walk down the road, you two wanna go and challenge that as well?"

Unexpectedly, both Ira and Tsara nodded in agreement at her suggestion.

Eh? We’re continuing? Really?

First the two of you were against coming with us and now the both of you want to follow to another Dungeon dive...
