What Would You Do If An Ugly Woman Asked You To Dual Cultivate?-Chapter 38: Exposed
Chapter 38 - Exposed
"If that person can handle the Titan Devil, then only the Ice Princess is left, right?" Yang Hao asked.
"Yes," Navrita replied with a slow nod, "but finding her will be very hard."
"Hm," Yang Hao murmured, stuffing his clothes into a new bag. He had made up his mind to leave, but his heart felt heavy. He wasn't afraid of adventures or new places. No, what terrified him was the thought of the Ice Princess coming here, and destroying everything, including his father.
He swallowed hard, picturing the worst. He didn't want to go, but he had to. As he slung the bag over his shoulder, he turned to his father, who stood quietly by the door, his face lined with worry and pride.
"Father," Yang Hao said, "I have to leave now. I'll see you again."
His father stepped closer, placing a rough hand on his shoulder. "You're braver than you know, son," he said softly. "Go, and don't look back. I'll be here waiting."
Yang Hao's eyes stung as he hugged his father tightly. "Promise me you'll be safe," he whispered.
"Not me but you should promise," his father chuckled and rubbbed his head, "Now go, before they leave."
With one last look, Yang Hao turned away, stepping out.

Yang Hao stepped into the bustling courtyard of the Fragrance Pure Lotus Shop, the air filled with the sweet scent of blooming flowers and herbal brews. The sun hung low, casting golden streaks across the cobblestone path as a small group of travelers gathered near the gate, preparing to leave.
Yang Hao's father had already spoken with them, and with a quiet nod, he decided to join their journey.
However before he found a place in carriage for himself, a voice called out.
"Yang Hao!"
Yang Hao turned to see a young attendant waving him over, "The manager wishes to see you. Please, come to the office."
Curiosity tugged at hin as he step toward the shop's grand entrance. The interior was a marvel of polished wood and soft lantern light, the walls lined with shelves of fragrant oils and dried petals. He followed the attendant's directions, his boots echoing on the hardwood floor until he reached a heavy oak door. Taking a deep breath, he knocked and stepped inside.
For two heartbeats, Yang Hao froze, his breath catching in his throat. Seated behind a sturdy wooden table was the manager—a woman of breathtaking beauty. Her long, golden hair cascaded over her shoulders like spun silk, woven into a thick braid that rested against her back. A delicate, intricately designed circlet of twisted gold adorned her head, glinting faintly in the warm light. Her blue eyes, sharp yet serene, held a depth that seemed to pierce through him, framed by lashes that curled naturally. Her cheeks carried a soft flush, and her lips, full and slightly parted, curved into a composed line.
She wore a flowing gown of pale gray, its fabric shimmering as it hugged her form. The neckline plunged deeply, revealing the elegant curve of her upper chest and the tantalizing hint of cleavage, though the table before her blocked any view lower.
A necklace of gold, etched with fine leaf patterns, rested against her skin, matching the subtle embroidery of vines that adorned the edges of her dress. Her shoulders were draped with a dark, fur-lined cloak that slipped slightly to one side, adding an air of regal authority. She sat with poise, her back straight, one hand resting lightly on the table while the other brushed a strand of hair from her face, a faint wisp of smoke curling from a nearby incense burner adding an ethereal touch to the scene.
Yang Hao stood transfixed, but soon he regained his composure. Before he could ask why she had summoned him, the manager spoke, her voice calm yet carrying a hint of curiosity. "Yang Hao... I need to ask you something."
He nodded, his tone respectful yet steady. "Yes... If I can, I'll gladly answer."
A faint smile curved her lips as she leaned forward slightly. "What element is your Seed?"
"It's the Fire Element, Ms. Jiang," Yang Hao replied.
"Fire Element..." she mused, her eyes narrowing thoughtfully. "So, you believe your Element Seed is a Fire Element Seed?"
"Yes, Ms. Jiang," he affirmed.

"Hm..." She paused, then offered a warm smile. "Don't call me 'Ms. Jiang' so formally—call me Sister Jiang instead. But that's not the point. I think you're mistaken. Your element isn't Fire. It's something rare—no, something that's never appeared in the world outside of legends. It's the legendary Yang Element."
Yang Hao's eyes widened in shock, his breath catching. How could she know? Hadn't Navrita and Yu Ruyi been hiding his true element all this time?
